Theres RTFC, which is actually a software to convert text into a special brl-format so braille printers can print it the way you want it to be printed. Hi allIve been thinking of trying to see if I can look for a better sapi5 voice. Im using realspeak Daniel, because of its clarity, even at high rates of speech. Ive recently looked at options like Liquendo and Ivona which sound amazing in the samples because the samples are low speed, but are totally unacceptable at high speech rates. Well that is slightly odd sinse I have recieved replies from that address, though I suspect if it was a bug report niels just logged it for future squashing. The duelist issue is indeed a bug and Niels reports itll be fixed in next update. As to combat difficulty, well more balancing is apparently going to happen with some abilities to make them more useful, and also apparently the dart isnt the best of fighter ships to take on larger vessels, particularly because Niels reports that the Jalkath are intended to be slightly tougher than the federation, (Ill have to try a jalkath game and see how things go). Well I dont know how expensive braille embossers are, though I suspect quite a lot, heck, on shear volume alone trying to print a book in braille would be quite a task, and likely expensive on braille paper. last I checked braille paper was about a pound for 100 sheets, - which isnt so bad accept that that is roughly 25 print pages, meaning that creating your average 200 page print book in braille would cost about £8, aside from storage. Well access to the os and use of propper filing is an advantage I would certainly agree, which is one reason Id be interested to see what happens with android in the future. The only issue however is that developing software for it is such a pest few people do it, plus of course the need to buy exactly the right phone and version of os and even then set things up. Regarding the tutorial, while I can see the advantage, if I remember rightly when vo was first activated on my Iphone there was a message about flicking and tapping, which was all that is needed to get started, indeed with no experience and only a vague idea I had no issues with vo when i got my Iphone, (I did have an issue with the Apple id setup but that was more due to screen layout and apples multiple redundency than anything else).Id be interested to play with an Android device at some point just to see how it works, but lack of extra ap support and

Ive never heard of accessible online IQ tests, but at least in the Uk some verified IQ tests developed for Vi kids are usable. When I was 7, my mum was attempting to persuade the local authority that the couple of hours of teaching assistant time I got a week was having adverse affects on my learning ability. They stated I was average, however my mum was fairly convinced I wasnt performing to the best of my ability, so ended up taking me to a learning institute to have a fairly high ranking educational psychologist perform a Vi specific IQ test. Needless to say my mum was correct. That being said, to be honest there is the problem that there are drastically different forms of intelligence and application, and emotional wellbeing an energy can have a huge affect on what you do, aside from the fact that getting a great IQ score just proves your good at taking IQ tests.  ave a higher IQ than my brother, but he has a problem solving ability that I dont, and is an international standard chess player. The motherboard just broke after he had send it to a repairing center twice, and the computer only lasted for around two years! He said the computer always have been slow and suddenly crashed randomly, so it really sounds like those laptops are very bad. hey there these are both great ideas. i personally would love to have unlimmitted resets, but if it came to one per day, it would still be great.as far as the trading. i think it should just be very basic, like flyby said, this isnt alter or any other rpg. I think you should be level 80 to trade for normal players. And if your hc, then you should be able to trade whenever, because you already proved that you can play the game by becoming hc.back to what musicman said about unlimitted resets. i agree with him for another reason. like he said, i get tired of relying on the shield, flame thrrower, and ak/whatever weapon i have my points into. sometimes i just want to do stupid stuff like running around with a shield with 100 points in it hahhaha. also, this would increase strategy in mission. one person could have all there opints into armor and act as a healer running around healing people while they are being attacked by a swarm.and, i have another idea. i was tal

It sounds like Braille Displays for $~500 are actually viable. While thats still more expensive than Id like (a new monitor goes for like $200 or less, right? And those can do more than a 1or2 line braille display), its so obviously superior to 4 or 5 digit prices Im just kinda annoyed there hasnt been... like... a race-to-the-bottom price war, at least. And that everyone who actually tries to make one of these (Aprone, NBP) runs into so many awful Youre not a for-profit corporation in tight with the fed obstacles its just ridiculous.If Google wanted to, they could solve the assistive technology lag/price problem inside a month. Any clues on how to print braille text right?

I dont know whether somebody experienced this already, but Im having some issues in printing text in braille properly.When I have a text which is longer than three braille pages, it allways prints over the edge of the paper.The first, second and the third page is been printed normally, however the text on the third page already moved way to close to the edge.Long story short: My Braille printer allways prints over the edge of the paper and makes pretty big paragraphs on the paper when it thinks its the end of the page already.I have a Tiger Junior printer which is able to print graphics either, and I use the Tiger Junior software the printer was shipped with. However, I could not mannage setting it up the way I want it to.My visually impaired form teacher recommended RTFC, because you could make your own printing profile where you can set the width, the tallness of the paper, etc.Anyway, this di
 dnt work out either, and RTFC is only trial. i am completely for the unlimited resets! Once again it all goes back to playing styles. I play completely different on regular maps than i do on missions. Or i would like to anyway! The only weapon i can afford to put points in is the minny gun. But it sucks to have to use that all the time because lack of a reset. And if you dont wanna reset then hey dont reset lol. But its not really going to help anyone level. It will just let people change the way they play and allow them to assign the points to random things. So yes i want unlimited reset! Yep, that palace is huge indeed. That is exactly where im at as well. Also, getting directions for other areas would be helpful. I think the only block blind people have to overcome when playing pokemon is literally getting sighted people to write guides for the blind. Thats it, end of story. Of course, it would take work, but i bet there are people out there willing to invest the time for the greater good. Just as an example, im at ho-os bell tower in heart gold, just from the directions that i have right now. As a kid, i could have never dreamed of getting that far. A bug then my thoughts on trading and resets.The bug is a pretty serious one in the processing warehouse (Ive not noticed it anywhere else). Basically, during 45 missions with other people, the game suddenly boots you out of the mission. I did one with Flyby Chow and another with a couple of other players (I think E-Z Killer was one). Suddenly you could hear radio messages from people on the main maps and the shift + / command showed you people on the main map you left from to do your mission. We had to crash out of the game because other players suggested that the game would treat you as dying if you completed the mission. You couldnt complete the mission any though because the main game throught I was running around ranger park and not in the warehouse. My client was showing me as being in the warehouse though. Other players not on the mission did /where commands which confirmed I was in Ranger park. Ive soloed both 35 and 45 crate missions in that wareh
 ouse now before and after these missions and this doesnt happen when youre on your own. I just wanted to raise this since Ive not seen it flagged here for the update and the processing missions are brilliant in this version.I vote for a reset every 24 hours, not unlimited. I dont like the idea that skill resets can be as much part of a mission strategy as anything else. If I put all 400 of Shadowrunners points into healthhbefore a Defender mission, Id have 1,000 health; something which makes it way easier to survive with no armour than my normal 100. This will make Defender missions much easier as you can just tank with an axe when you run out of ammo. If you die, no big deal. Just go back to the safe zone and reset your skills ready for normal missions and looting again. Resetting each day to compensate for dying, finding good armour or weapons seems reasonable, especially with how slow levelling can get. Instant response resets just seem 
 to make things too easy. As it is you can now be as well protected with low armour as high so people arent bothering to find ceramics and apronics now when more points in leather jackets moves you faster and keeps you safe. Making it that these skill points can be even more versatile means that the missions and maps will have to be rebalanced to compensate. Thats how I see it, anyway. It will take some of the challenge out of missions, like in my Defender example above.If trading out of HC mode is implemented, I think there should be an item for it, it shouldnt be an ability. Trading when a non-HC char, sounds fun but I think level restrictions should be in place. You should, for example, have to be level 50 before you can be allowed to receive map 4 items from another player, since thats the level you need to be to get them yourself. Maybe the findable item could be equippable armour like a postmans cap? Maybe it should be a one use item, like a
  broken weapon, and it could then easily be used with the wrapping paper code from before? However you do it, I still think it will make people lazy and will not actually be as good an idea as it looks on paper. Hi.An other thought:I wish you would unlock something or be able to use any special items or weapons when being a high level character. Im level 280 I think, but I dont find any reason to get in higher level. I can use every item and weapon in the game, and I can go everywhere. It would be awesome if you unlock a special weapon when you reach level 100, and other weapon when you reach level 200 etc. until you reach level 1000 or 2000. Hi,Grab the latest desktop installer, but dont uninstall your current version. This way you can keep your settings, but you wont have to go through the older, inaccessible skype.The newer versions of skype still use chats as listboxes and such, but you can enable compact mode to have them pop up in a seperate window.Also, NVDA now announces if you have unread messages. Whats more, Microsoft themselves have actually mentioned NVDA on their skype website, in the accessibility section. Also, narrator gets a mention.I was really surprised, I thought it would be a memory hog, and I just used Teamtalk for months and months, but what with msn going down very soon, I thought Id give skype another try. A possible alternative to direct trading would be to make items donated at the safe zone, that are not normally purchaseable on that map, available for purchase based on the number of items donated. For example, if I donate an m40 on map 1, then the get items menu would show M40: 1 available. Hi all,I dont know where to put this, but I decided to put it in general game discussion, because I would love to see an April Fool game this year.What I really liked about March Massacre was unlike Aprones Dark Ruce rpg it wasnt just a throw-away. It could actually be played, and now every time I play that game I laugh. The Dark Ruce thing was also quite a fun joke, but March Massacre was actually funnier because it was playable and could even be played after April Fools day.Perhaps its way too late to ask, as I know that everyones probably busy with school/work/life to write up a small project for April Fools day. I dont quite understand the offline thing. People are basically asking for the off line version to be the same as the full game only without paying for it. In other words, these are all ideas of how to get round paying for a gamer account. The point of the offline mode, as far as I can tell, is to learn the maps and get used to the style of the game. It allows you to control zombie numbers while you find out how to aim with the mouse. You get all the weapons, even the ones which those in the real game have to wait until level 60 to find, and you can find the armour on the maps, if youre lucky. This is a kind of demo of the game so it most certainly shouldnt include all the features of the full thing. Whats more, there are all kinds of campaigns out there. Maybe Aprone could make a zip archive of a few campaigns to go along with the game (I havent checked what is currently included) so that people can practise them. They do more than many of the featur
 es in the standard game anyway so there are plenty of things to do and play with. If you still dont know if the game is right for you, it clearly isnt. This isnt a personal attack on any individual poster, I just think people need to accept the fact that this innovative and inspiring game has been free for quite long enough and its time to shut up and pay up or go elsewhere for your multi-player fun.Back with trading, I kind of like the idea of the trading system being available from safe zones. Maybe though, so that people who need the safe zones to do everything they currently do, donated items could be available at half price from outposts. They give you a quarter of their original cost when you donate them there and cost half to buy. This means theres no direct trading but people low on rep can see if theres something they can afford. The problem is, of course, that there will only be the number of each item available which have been do
 nated. Donating via a middle man, like Ryan, Tom and the other safe zone characters, will also prevent people from hiking up prices and charging 2 M79s for one fieldkit, or whatever people need in a hurry. Things will only be available on the outpost of the map theyre donated so you will have to travel around the game to see what each place has stored. I dont think the idea was to remove safezone stores completely. I think it was aimed more towards the findable weapons only. So if I found an AK47, but I dont use AK47s, but I know bob does, and bob has a flamethrower that I want, I can be like hey bob, I have an AK47, do you want to trade your flamethrower for it? Then bob would be like, yes sneak, I sure would. Trade trade exchange exchange, blam, done, I got a flamethrower he has an AK47. That sort of trading. My idea as a store type deal was you have a shop or a merchants cart somewhere on each main map, so on map 1 maybe the boarded up building east of kaimart not the fort. I find lets say a machete, but I dont want the machete. I go to this store, and it asks, do you want to buy? or sell? You select sell, it pulls up your inventory menu, you select the item you want to sell, and then it says, how much reputation do you want to ask for this item. then you type in the amount, and its posted.
  Then bob can go into that same shop and say I want to buy something, then its like do you want to view armor? weapons? accessories, or misc? you select the one you want, and it pulls up a list containing all the items that are available from other players. So lets say bob sees the machete that I put up for 1 rep. Bob is like, I could use a machete, and so he buys it. Hey folks. I agree with Sneak regarding the trade thing. And about the ability to give itens, it could use the friends thing. If you have a certain person in your friends list you can give it a gift. I do agree with Mehgcap that the minimum level for this to become available should be equal to the highest map in the game. Im in a hurry otherwise I would have wanted to respond to most of then, haha.I agree with Flyby that trading would be best if it were quick and easy, but I also agree with the idea of requiring the friends list because it would cut down on spamming. I think everyone has at least 1 guy they know would use the gift giving feature as a way to bug people. This wont help, but heres a (slightly JAWS-centric, but still usable) guide to the Windows 7 start menu, task bar and system tray. You can run Win7 if you intend to stick with Windows, but on newer hardware that XP doesnt support. Then you run XP as a VM on that host. Heres the response from the developer:I have never ran into that problem in linux. If they are using linux maybe suggest they reclon the pack from scratch. Macs are another issue altogether. Im not sure why, but Macs run into write errors on a regular basis. But aside from that, it would have to be a permission error I guess.Sorry I dont have a better solution. As far as I know, the scripts just use mkdir and wget, so it shouldnt be too complicated to debug if youre familiar with shell scripting. Aprone. I would suggest the trading to be a real trading system one thing in exchange for another without the need for the friends list. Id like to ask for a give command where we can do like many people already said about giving itens in the middle of a mission or any other situation they wish. I say unlimited resets, remember at level 401 I will die very quickly in a defender mission unless I happen to find the weapon where my points are, would it be possible to have a reset menu like the most excellent armer menu we have now? Or for defender missions only, I really want to get to wave 60 or so but its impossible now unless I happen to find the weapon where I set skill points into. hi, aprone to solve the spamming is very easy, the server filters, the number of trades of the same item u can do. here is an example.instead of hearing, Fred has gift you 1 set 40 rounds of 7 point six 2 mm, ammo. This is fantastic thank you! I must have missed the description of the buffer size as I dont understand any of the arguments in the pre_init call. I reduced the first numbers, but never could find what the last number did. After all, they could just keep switching up the item they are sending. Blocking *all* transactions might be a bad idea; what if, in a mission, I give Chow ten med kits, then some armor, then some ammo, all within a minute? To the server, thats spam, but to Chow, its essential. The reason I say that the friends list should not come into it is simple: remember Christmas. Specifically, you would sometimes get gifts from players you didnt know, who might not even speak your language. Something that wasnt suggested about the resets is just having resets in map 1 sz. This would mean high level players need to go to map 1 in order to reset, so they then need to go back to the maps they want to test their build on. trading should be level 70 or 80, then any time after that first level 80, you can trade. even if you reset after HC, and you are level 1, as long as you have a title, you can trade. This will make becoming higher level more interesting and nice.perhaps the forts can be open to new players, because a new player can get a really good item and not have any use for it. I for one have a mini and it is just sitting in my inv because Im neither rich enough to use it, or strong enough to use it.trading at the fort should be completely anonymous and there should be a player voted minimum value. I would like to have a minimum value based off sold items and listed items, but Im not 100% sure how that would work. If there was a 
 player voted minimum value, the raits can change based on supply and demand.For example:Mini guns are voted to have a floor of 10K. I can vote to have it raised to 11K or 9K. One thing I forgot to say in my last post is that I love the idea of weapons for high-level players. Leave everything as is now, since I have a feeling people would revolt if their M79s were taken away, but maybe Aprone could spend an hour here and there adding in new stuff. The Scropion, just as a random suggestion.  Knives, the other pistols and sniper rifles, all that. Then, just have them locked to a certain level. At level 150, you can find and use the knives; at 200, the Scorpion; at 250, the Mac10; you get the idea. Basically, I agree that after level 80, there is little insentive to level further except to get more points. Still, you only need more points because zombies get harder to kill as you level, making a circle. If there were new areas to explore, missions to do, or weapons (such as the Scorpion) to unlock, thatd be amazing. This is a long-term feature, nothing i

Lets say I wanna tease the person, Ill be like ok dude, Ill give you this m79, I dropped it somewhere on map 3. The license that Espeak is using does actually allow it. As long as the source is available, you can sell it. So, you can go get the sources and compile it yourself if you want, or you can get the precompiled through the play store if you want to support the developer.
