Moderation! Sinse this is a new version of the game for people to download, the topic might as well be moved to new releases, after all we have other topics there about updates and new versions too.Much as I like swamp, castaways is likely what I've been most looking forward to seeing updated. I never actually got how people could be interested in these sort of stratogy games until I played castaways sinse my only experience was the browser games like ateraeon or 1000 Ad, which always work on a very static model of just minimaxing all statistics and then beating other players which always seemed dull to me, something however like castaways where you need to reacg to what happens progressively as well as plan for your stratogy is awsome, and I can't wait to see more in the future, indeed as I said, the more complexity the better!So, great news on the updates.

Mission 6 kicked my everything.I did get one game going quite well, but right as I went to save, my battery died, as the laptop had somehow come unplugged without my knowledge.(I'm curious about what changes you made to the graphics!  )

hi,however there is more than cost for the restrictions being applyed on bandwidththe cost of transporting data over international cables is always falling and this should have a posetive impact on bandwidth capsin 2011 the estimated cost of a gigabyte over international cables was 2 3 centsand also when isps rent fiberoptic lines the packages they get are stable price and unlimited packagesso I don't see why isps can't offer reasonably priced packages that have reasonable quotas

@welshweyr, the short version was it was something that technically wasn't supposed to be able to be done but i did not know that at the time because literally everyone was doing itit was a weapon that allowed you to one shot a boss mob for a quest which was fixed later

@Socheat:You can only heal outside of battle. To heal, hit x to go to your menu, and down arrow to the option called, (bag). From there, hit your left and right arrow keys until you get to something that is called, medicine. Then use your up and down arrows to get to your healing potions. The person you choose to play with at the time will receive the heal. So, if Ross isn't the one you wanted to heal, switch characters first, before you heal.

Kamochek, I suggest you to find your timezone on Windows date and time properties and set the number in the forum. For example, I'm from Argentina and, although there is specifically no Buenos Aires or Argentina timezone, I know UTC-3.00 is the right timezone.

I personal don't think the gov need to know what I'm up to, but I for the most part take what I do on the net as public. If I do what I can to make sure the data I send isn't readable but by the person I sent it to, there is a good reason for that. That reason is along the lines of having a personal comunacation with them nothing unlawful. Maybe it's just to keep them out of my business? So what this have to do with drive by attacks? I really don't think they should be using it unless they not only get their target, but have good proof that said target is doing something beyond the law at the varry least. Anyway, I came across something a while after I post this topic. I won't post the full article here, but here it is for those who wish to read it. It basicly is about the defence department here trying to
  improve their PR. It seems as if they are throwing the FBI under the bus as it were.

Ethin, a Python programmer can use tabs or spaces. It doesn't' really matter. I always use tabs in my Python code, and have never had the interpreter complain about my use of tabs instead of spaces.As far as version goes that all depends on what a person is developing. While Python 3 is certainly preferable in many cases one must remember not all modules, APIs, are yet Python 3 compatible. As a result if a certain module or API only works with Python 2.7.x that's what the developer will use regardless if there is a newer and better version of Python available.

You might not need sighted assistance. You might want to for the end product, but.A number of GUI libraries have support for containers that automatically lay out controls within them. for example the .net libraries, such as microsoft's windows forms thing, have flow layout panels and table layout. A table layout would let you put controls within table cells to form a grid obviously. A flow layout panel will move the next control to the nearest available space (configurable).Wx wigits has a similar feature, but table layout panel is renamed to grid sizer etc.

Hi,First and formost, well done! Even I wouldn't have the patients to do this, and I think you are a true dev for trying this.Its actually extremely well put together for a concept. When you consider espeak could litterally say two words, hello, and test, when it was first introduced, this is a lot better than many, many of the synthesiser concepts out there. Also consider the fact he took the time to sit down, with bgt, which is a language primarily for the scripting of audio games, and write a fully fledged synthesiser that can speak? That's pritty dam impressive. Most of these things are written in c, c++ and delfi (yes delfi). He wants to write it in PureBasic? That's totally amaising!Observations:Instead of an out of range error, I think it might be an idea to put some sort of alert box into a final release (but that's purely nice eyecandy as it were). I know it won't stay a command line app though, and as a dll, it does need t

My advice would be, start researching this right now, or you're going to be spending more time than nessisary when it comes to creating a dll. However, keeping a phonetic approach, at least internally, sounds good. You can use minimal audio files, thus making the dll smaller. As for SAPI compliants, that's almost impossible these days. Consider the fact he's written the synth from the ground up, instead of using something like FLight or festivle. Its not impossible to get your product into SAPI compliants, though. I'm sure there are guides somewhere, I just haven't looked.To sum up, then, all in all its a good first concept and I'm amaised at its flexibility. The demo between the full and the demo is that in the demo, several features are disabled. For instance, in the full version, you get seven different tracks and several different ships, robo navigators, etc. In the demo, you can't upgrade your ship at all and only get to play five out of seven.

@Sean-Terry01.Spoilers.I think I had her at 18 or 20. She had enough stats at that point to beet the boss. One thing that helps is to master the energy burst spell. It's not the most powerful, but it can and does help. I can't remember if there's a shop in her dream, but go buy a defence upgrade if there is. The issue is, "Unlimited" isn't sustainable, as Netflix is showing us with painful consequences. If you want your customers to know that their service is actually unlimited, simply charge unit pricing such that a reasonable fee would naturally result from reasonable usage, and unreasonable fees would result from unreasonable usage. Just like your electricity, gas, water, and so on. Bandwidth is not free, and passing the blame onto content providers or pirates isn't appropriate; if you advertise it, you promise it, so you give it (until the politicians get involved, of course). The #include directive doesn't include an entire library, it only includes a header file. The header file consists of prototypes and variables. Really, "Hello world" is the simplest program because it dedicates all the actual printing functionality to printf, which is actually a very complex C library routine.As to IDEs, IMHO Windows users have it bad, and Apple users have it better (but not great). So far, it seems your best option for self-built UIs is to stick with WinForms and use XML. I don't know of an easier way. For writing C/C++ you invariably need help visually placing objects, by coordinate, and then you build your resources by hand using IDL (you probably also need artwork to make it look really pretty). It sucks, but it is what it is.

@Robla when you hear the question, press the up or down arrows once while the question is playing and it'll stop and you'll get the choices. You have heard those informations already in the storylines on the very beginning of the game if you were not pressing the enter key like a maniac.

I had the same problem with the Users boss when I first started playing the game. Once I even whent to the end of the folder and as I couldn't move anywhare else he eventually came and killed me. It was like that until I downloaded playthroughs of the game and that was how I guessed that I had to press my left arrow once to face him and get in as many laser shots as possible before jumping away and shooting some more until he died.

I had the same problem with the Users boss when I first started playing the game. Once I even whent to the end of the folder and as I couldn't move anywhare else he eventually came and killed me. It was like that until I downloaded playthroughs of the game and that was how I guessed that I had to press my left arrow once to face him and get in as many laser shots as possible before jumping away shooting some more until he dies.

Hello, so i've been play Tirnaill for a while now and I like the game.I haven't rreally explored any other professions accept mage, warrior and sorcerer so far.While the mud is your typical midevil game, the fact that you can have 2 characters on at once really does help.The game is still being worked on in fact, the creater just added in coords so that we can better get around the continent.Also, it's a good idea to have at least one player that can cast portal that way, you can just portal to any area you wish.I Do have a list containing most if not  all the list of areas you can portal to.The reason why you need a list is because you have to know the arcane name of the area you wish to portal to.If you are interested, please feel free to send me an email or follow me on twitter at @krishnajariwala and I will send you a link to the file.the info for the game is: tirnaill.com port 4000I am carno or remo on

accidentally deleted judgement day trophies folder

Hello.As the subject says I accidentally deleted the trophies folder in the judgement day directory. I deleted it because that if it was deleted, all my trophy settings would be deleted too. It turns out that the settings were not deleted, but the sounds for the trophies were deleted, and none of the trophies can be played. I know you can clear your trophies through the registration and configuration program, but I don't want to delete my registration along with the trophies. does anyone know how to get the trophies folder back or reset the trophy settings in Judgement Day?

You got a thumbs up@Orin, as far as I know, the function you'd best want to use for games would be open screen, and it'd be like this:InitSprite()OpenScreen(640, 480, 16, "screen name")  As for windows, you will need sighted assistance with that. You don't nesesarily have to use the visual form designer, you can design it with code.

Regarding different languages:C++ is a lower level language. therefore including headers etc is going to be standard. C++ is basically entirely configurable. You don't have to use the stdlib, you could create one entirely yourself (good luck).Using pure basic, yes you can create a GUI. See the examples in the examples directory.

hi cx2,if you call your isp and ask what unfair usage means don't they give you a fixed amountit probably isn't 77 tb though...roflbut here in turkey there is also an unoffitial exception to this ruleif you are one of the few users using that isp in your area they generally don't inforce the fair usage policylike for example a friend of mine bought 50 mbit 250 gb fair use quota packagebut since he is the only user in the whole neighborhood he basicly gets unlimited service with no speed drops

Hi all,I just looked at PureBasic, because I have some ideas that are not games that I'd like to make, especially for Mac. I know that I can't publish my PB apps to the store, but I'd just make them freely available on my website.The problem I have is, do we really have to create forms (windows) manually when the sighted have it easier with the form designer? Heck, I have issues with visualizing levels when I want to design something in BGT. Plus, Dannie, do you use the PB IDE or do you just write it Notepad? A lot of the features in the app I could see like goto is great but what about syntax hi lighting, etc? a ton of those features I don't think would be useful. True, screen readers can speak colors of a word but does that help in this instance?Ah, I love the "Show_game_window" function in BGT because I don't have to worry about a window size. I took a Visual Basic class online once and the teacher couldn't even find an 
 alternative way to create the window for his first program, so he's said something along the lines of "Figure it out and get back to me." Gosh I hate that. It was the same thing with my last computer teacher, but yeah. Don't give me the answer but give me a goal with little help if its pretty obvious I'm struggling or if I ask for it.How does a blind person create Windows for GUIs using the editor? If BGT had an IDE I'm pretty sure a ton of people would be using it and Philip would still be asking for money.

There is no basic reset option, just go back to your profile and change the settings to what you want, for example, there is a box which says "number of posts per page), I personally have it set to the maximum which is 75, sinse it saves me having to go through many pages, likewise the E-mail notifications for topics is a check box.

I thought the middle east was very much continental Africa, particularly sinse that is listed as the timezone boundray that corresponds to the difference Camochek described, and I definitely know Egypt is Africa sinse when I was there our guide made a point of showing us the tomb of the African pharo and introducing us to some of the nubian, African descended people who still live in the country.The Rnib used to sell some wonderful brightly coloured and fully brailled large size plastic maps (I used several when at specialist school), and I wanted to buy one to put on my living room wall, however they don't sell those anymore, just small booklets of tactile but completely black and white ones which is very annoying! So though I do have a colourful world map in my living room for purely artistic reasons I can't actually read anything on it .I appologise therefore if I got the continent wrong, although certainly the time zone list should pretty much cover everywhere.

So your examiner was an actual human player? I wouldn't mind completing tasks for an in game exam as part of a quest, but actually being made to please some geezer just doesn't sound fun at all. Then again I remember when I read the descriptions of the iron realms games they each appeared slightly to have a different focus, . One was more political, one seemed more crafting and one seemed more questing and experience, they all had elements of all of these,but when i read the descriptions some emphasized certain elements more than others, though I didn't quite get into trying any of them because I was a bit wary of the access in terms of combat speed etc, as well as the negative comments I mentioned. When the audeasy list gets back up I'll make enquiries there sinse if I remember rightly several people on that list had played the iron realms games and had different opinions. I've just spent today playing wayfare144 which has been 
 fun, particularly the unique crafting and harvesting system, heck I've done no combat at all but still really liked the game. I do worry about pvp sinse I don't believe there is a restriction but nothing bad has happened yet.

I believe they do this because at one point they claimed something like 10% of the users were using 90% of the bandwidth, of course now with netflicks and the like that may change. It was the people who were constantly torrenting stuff I believe that generally used the most data, though that's more personal experience than hard fact.Trouble with "fair usage policies" is here in the UK they often don't give a figure, they just say if you use an unfair amount of data they will either slow you down or cut you off. Not knowing how much you can use without consequence is most certainly unfair to be ironic. That said I believe BT and PlusNet advertise their fibre services as having unlimited usage with no fair usage limit so that's a start.

I don't know what the rules in the US are but I believe here in the UK using something like a telephone tap requires approval from a judge, perhaps this could be applied to drive by hacks of illegal sites?I don't want to flat out deny law enforcement the use of such a potentially powerful tool but it needs oversight. Also a single visit to such a site shouldn't necessarily constitute sufficient evidence for a prosecution in itself, though if other such materials were found on the computer involved or in hardcopy on the owner's premises that's another story.

@Brad,It just depends on who you're fighting. Some enemies have very high defense so your attacks will inflict less damage.

Hi.Spoilers.I'm at the part where they go to get hotdogsin the third wing qand a guy asks to fight.I'm getting a lot better at the casting of the scrolls bvut I've noticed once it did 2000 dammage wich was awesome, but when I fight the guy it only does 100. Why is that?Kellly is level19.End spoilers
