yeah i have a vps and could do it but its linux, and yeah, BGT and linux are like two guys, they don't hate each other, one is like an alien, and they look on each other with a bit of fear. Hello everybody,I need some help on HTML forms. I don't think bgt lets you check open processes, but there are definitely ways to detect memory editing using bgt. Also the process checking doesn't really work well because  people can rename the executable files of their cheat programs.

The structure is a little different, but yes, I believe it is still playable. It still has the system where you pick two characters if I remember correctly, so it should still be playable. I haven't played it yet, because from what people are saying if you've played the original then there's really no need to play this expansion, but if you're on PC it's a good way to get a taste of that particular game.

bug, when you change your weapon, the current duration on the now unequipped weapon becomes the max duration, For example if you had a weapon with 4/130 durability and you unequip it, the weapon now will have 4/4 durability

@John, Ah sorry my mistake I thought when you said background you meant the ascii image that runs per region, given what forum we are on I should have put 2 and 2 togeather! I am aware of the sound bug, will be fixing it soon@AstralAudio Thanks I'll check it out@Catfish, cool run! lots of notable kills! And mod away my friend, I have no problem with modding, I made sure it worked so players could play the game how they wanted and test different things, with mods you can write your own items into the games generators, add your own intro greetings, modify the default starter inventory, write and price your own books and edit your inventory and pile of loots live in game!

Other people who are connecting to your server outside your network needs to connect to your IP or host address. I hope this makes sense.

Well Sterlock, it is true if a file which has been hosted free with sendspace isn't downloaded in 30 days it goes bye bye, but once you pay for the account, the hosting should be perminant. I'm not sure what has happened to the Kirtwolf demo, but if, as I believe Jyro has a paid ss account it won't be sendspace that causes the problem, indeed if Jyro has an ss pro account and still has the Kirtwolf demo executable uploading it shouldn't be an issue. I'd also myself be very interested in both playing Kirtwolf and perhaps perchicing the game. When it came out I was deep in guide dog training with reever and never really got to sit with the game seriously, I did finish the demo but never got around to buying the full game, not through lack of desire, just because it didn't really get sorted out.

Hi.I have managed to make a server successfully, but that requires you know a bit about networking etc. Otherwise it won't work.Regarding building maps, I'll recommend you to do that using notepad, and not using the slash commands in the chat. Why? Because I find it easier to edit it in Notepad instead of typing in the commands, do mistakes and then you have to edit your file anyway. I have a few questions:1: When making stairs: I don't know if I have done that in a wrong way, but no step sound is played when going up or down the stairs.2: When you fall down, no damage is taken. That would be amazing if you could kill yourself by making mistakes. Yes, I'm also experiencing that the server crashes randomly when you log out and log in 
 again.Edit: I've fixed my issues with the stairs.

Yes, but the best way is not to cheat... use your short sword and level up with experience, which will give you health. If this isn't already the case, I think any cheats that have to do with being helped to kill enemies should come at the cost of no xp gained for kills, at least until you beat the game nce.

Hello,I'm wondering the best way to avoid bombs, especially as I seem to die a lot on he first level. I've tried slarluming around them, treid changing direction quickly, only to run into another bomb. Going in a line also seems useless as they seem to be able to hit you even if they aren't in the center of the screen. I've also had bombs explode way before the timer starts to constantly beep, which could either be me possibly running into them directly or could be a bug, I'm not actually sure which.

yeah, sometimes the bombs explode before the timer beeps get really fast, and that's just a fact of life. If you play enough games you can figure out just how far away from the bombs you have to be to aavoid their blast radius. Also, you should constantly be on the hunt for extra lives. The spell switches are the best way to get those, because you can hit them as much as you want. Extra life cones are nice, but they're of course random. If you're desperate to keep playing, leveling up will give you a life also, but the screen will become more populated with bombs the higher you go, so you're basically making a big tradeoff there. Don't expect to get past level 4 or 5 even if you play your best.

here's a test.Everyone who already has it running fine or with a different issue than Kyleman123 can ignore this test.If it's not starting at all, then I need you to run the above test in order that we can hopefully get more information.  Here are some directions:1.  Download and extract the zip file.  Don't move anything, keep it all in the same folder.2. Click run.bat.  Not main.exe, run.bat.One of two things should happen.  If you get 1 second of sine wave audio, then everything has gone well and this test is unfortunately not triggering the crash that seems to be hitting people.  If you don't get one second of sine wave audio, you should have a log.txt and a minidump.dump file in the folder.  I will need the text of log.txt and the minidump.dump file to troubleshoot further.  Note that these two files are created even if the te
 st runs fine.If something else happens--most critically if log.txt is empty and there was no audio--then we need a different test.  I'm hoping this will crash for at least one of you, because you are all probably experiencing the same issue and fixing it for one of you should fix it for the rest.Sorry for the size of the zip file.  This is a debug build of Libaudioverse, plus some extra pieces.

@Sebby apparently I'm not the only person very dissatisfied with modern windows, hopefully microsoft will take the hint and just make a new xp instead of all their other crap. Anyway that's not a debate it's worth having. I do still plan on the mac for net access albeit my xp box will still be my main media and games machine, however  to be honest everything is a bit woosily at the moment in terms of my life, for the reason why check the Monthly chat topic. Getting back on topic, someone on the audeasy list recently tried games with a braillenote and the cog website didn't work. In fairness I can't say much more sinse I have no experience of the device. One thing which I do like about the fact I can now check the cog site is that it'll make tracking new games and new blog posts much easier, I noticed there were a few new releases I'd missed, like soemthing called vs the lost ones from the hosted games. No worries, I just 
 picked the things up and will play them in time, however it's nice to not be dependent upon the e-mails or ap store.  I actually want to try matter of time, sinse with me being a whovian I of course rather like time travel stories.

It hasn't been updated since... 2.5, I think? I'm not sure if I updated the sounds after 1.8, but the last time I looked at it, I had version 2.5 of swamp in its folder.Also, I'm pretty sure the terrain sounds are lower quality than they would be on the games they're taken from, for some reason probably related to sample rate conversion algorithms or something.Anyway, I'll see if it's small enough to fit on Sendspace (IIRC they still have a 300mb file size limit for free accounts). SHould get back to you within an hour of this post.

Of course, it helps to realise at this point that we are generally in the minority, as neatly illustrated by the poll above. People generally don't care who controls their app ecosystem, as long as they can do what they need to do. As long as most people aren't inconvenienced by the lack of a filesystem, likewise, they aren't going to be concerned if their platform doesn't support one, and anyway, remote storage services (including Apple's) have solved that problem too.Of course, I'm with those who generally agree that it's insufficient for what I'd like to do. Then again, I do understand the trend away from general-purpose, much as I dislike it. I wouldn't consider using ChromeOS, but I do think it has come very far in such a short space of time and could well be the new face of computing if network connections keep getting faster and the ecosystem is opened up to the entire web. You can do your computing on big iron, and the ir
 on doesn't have to even be in your own living room. Of the apps currently on my Mac, the only two I'd consider serious blockers are server software and virtualisation, and of course both are very natural targets for a remote system. Times are changing ...Having said this, this is Apple, and Apple will find a way to make the future infeasible without some disagreeable levy or other, so it probably won't be the iPad. And the iPad is currently being killed by the iPhone 6 Plus, which provides a large enough screen to be useful. It will be interesting to see how the iPad Pro changes this.

@Nocturnus: yep, that's perfectly reasonable. I have no idea what the root cause is either, but it almost seems certain to be about the majority, and then we get into the whole discussion about whether the majority is always right, which we probably shouldn't or this thread will go on forever. I certainly feel strong in my conviction that this state of affairs is grossly unfair for those people who do care, though. It's not appropriate for the "New normal" to exclude people with privacy concerns merely because others, without them, are inconvenienced by it. And then people, tempted to throw their arms wide and surrender, are all the happier to demonise those in the opposing camp, without regard for the principles that they hold, or a willingness to agree on a way favourable to both sides. Scary, and sad.

The log might be useful.  I'm going to put up an updated version that more closely matches shooter probably tomorrow.  Somehow, I'm not surprised that this doesn't catch it, despite doing exactly the same things as the offending Python code.  We'll have to see if changing the compiler switches to release breaks it.Something possibly to check for me, if you would: do you have the Visual C++ 2013 redistributable?  It looks like the version included with Shooter didn't statically link the runtime.  I would expect it to fail with a dialog box, but if it's not for some strange and unfathomable reason then this might be part of the issue.

Occurs on dungeon corpse, crate and armory, not weapon table or normal crate.Graveyard suggestion:It'd be nice if the graveyard had more specific info about the areas we travel through - heck, the more info about the character in general the better imho. My level one just made it through a hellzone, and I realized he'll never be immortalized for that when he dies in this dead region I'm in now.

Thanks.   I'll jump back into pong and hopper in a month or so; I have a slew of other games I'm getting out.  Crazy8 and Wildcard were awful in two player mode, so I'm re-programming them to turn-taking with game center, and I just submitted hearts and spades in turn-taking mode to the app store.  Roulette is in progress; bowling gets submitted in a few days, and then I'll do craps, and another video game, such as pacmac, space invaders or breakout.  The list is endless.

The reason I'm asking this is is that a lot of people seems to  have questions about items spawning and maps and things like that. If you all would like for me to create  an audio walk through on all of this, let me know. This one is probably going to be for brits only. But guide dogs organization (probably one of the few blindness related organizations who are worth taking note of), are having a major campaign effort collecting signatures to present a petition to the government and to the five major buss companies to make audio announcements manditory on all British busses. Yes, needless to say, without these things are a pain, and at the moment the situation of "well it has them if the company feel like it and if the engineer sticks it on" isn't ideal. Satnavs like blind square definitely help, but aren't ideal both due to reception and to the fact that the address of the location isn't always an indicator of where the bus stop is. So, if your British, or indeed give a smeg about British busses in some way, the online version of the petition is Here I've just been on the street actually collecting sigs from the general public, (and not done too badly, got about 50 in an hour and a half, although every one can help with this). @Lauren, good luck, any idea which sort of therapist? Funnily enough my lady is a trained councillor and it's something she wants to continue doing in this country if she can (though I have to say the british Association of councillors and psychotherapists has the world's most annoying! phone waiting message). york has a lovely campus, actually one of the nicest I've seen. i will say when I was there the disabilities adviser was a right arse hole, he asked me "why aren't you doing computer science that's what blind people usually do" (which I did not like), but it is entirely possible that the position has changed sinse then (sinse that was over 10 years ago), and you can circumvent disability services at university by sorting stuff yourself, which was what I did myself. I would actually advise you very much to look at living in University, even if you come home at weekends. Yes, you will be home sick for a while, everyone is, but it
 's the best way to make a lot of friends, and have a good time, and engage in a lot of fun student things, whatever you fancy doing, choires, rock climbing, learning bridge whatever, there will be societies and a lot of people who will want to do the same thing, plus students on average tend to be a very nice and entirely accepting bunch. I do know one chap who actually did go to leeds university, but bussed in every day to his lectures, and basically missed things completely, sinse it was just like going to school for him, he went in, worked and left, and he didn't make any friends or really do much at all. I actually made some of the best friends I've ever had through living in at university, it's also great practice for living on your own sinse stuff like meals will be provided, but a few other things such as bed making and making your own drinks as well as getting around, you'll need to do yourself. It's up to you of course, but 
 really I'd strongly! recommend living at uni, it's the best way of taking control of your life and you'll have a far better time, and you can always pop home for visits (my brother went home every fortnight in his first term), as well as phone your parents when you need. I know it seems a big thing, and there is a lot you need to learn, but trust me, it's much better in the long run and will really! mean making the most of your time at university, and put you in a better position when you've finished. Any questions, feel free to askk. As for me I've got to dash off, sinse guide dogs association are having a big campaign about getting announcements on busses, so I'm going to try and collect signitures.

I agree with you. I don't usually invert colors on my Android tablet, not counting turning on High Contrast on Windows, but when I have it set to not invert colors for a long time, it does cause eye strain a little bit. This is with brightness turned up all the way. I can see why you'd say that inverting colors does little to get rid of eye strain, and indeed it does very little. Again, this is with my brightness turned up all the way and for using tech for more than 2 hours with no breaks in between.

@Dark you're not, but you're definitely in the minority at this point. Not suggesting that's bad or wrong, of course, but it's true, all the same. Most holdouts have moved, per force, to Win7 at minimum; the others went to Linux or investigated Mac, much as you are.I don't visit the CoG website much; everything I need from there is in the iOS App Store, which is how I check for new apps (oh how I wish they'd send email notifications or even download new purchases from them!) or GitHub, where they published their interpreter and documentation. The BrailleNote is, I fear, too far obsolete to be of any use as a web-surfing device, but I still valiantly attempt it every so often, nonetheless.@Grryf: ooh! You ran away, but you also got Barmy Barny or whatever his name is? I need to play again--didn't really feel like running away, but if it's a winning move ...  Think I'll spy on people more this time.

I have a suggestion for a new feature for this game. We already have totally unrealistic levels of firing speed, once we obtain them, of course. So can we please, PLEASE get faster reload speeds as one of the items? It absolutely sucks when you get an enemy raid, and you've only got about 30 health, but you die in half a second because you can't reload fast enough.

@Sebby,Nor would I suggest that your concerns are illegitimate or simply a stretch of the mind, but I do believe that every system that is designed to bring about some form of good can be reverse assembled so as to easily do the opposite.  Consider any and every advancement we have made in regards to trying to control devices with our minds so that people without arms and legs can enjoy the use of computers.  The question I still have is, what if those devices eventually begin responding in the other direction?  I don't care much for making conspiracy theories or adding to the mountain of fear that seems to circulate around communities concentrated on schemes and the like, so I simply do my best to understand a system for what it is and what it is not.  Every system will have perks and faults; sad but true.  Sometimes we just have to pick our poison, I guess.

i can't get the instant translate add-on to work with the game. i have the out put set to clipboard but, then when i do shift+t it doesn't translate and when i press c it doesn't have anything stored.

Yep, the switch from Jaws to NVDA has gone surprisingly well. I've even gotten the hang of the review modes, something I really didn't think I could do, but one thing I like is that the voice doesn't switch when you activate the various cursors. I always found that particular feature of Jaws to be a bit odd.Can anyone tell me what the enhanced listview support add-on is supposed to do? I can't really find any difinitive information about it.
