Hi.I can finally connect to the server, which is awesome. I really, really like the new beta. This is fantastic, and I can't find the words to describe how much I enjoy this game.It's pretty strange that when you find a tile which have a tree, then it's trees, not tree. But there is only one tree there, right? Because the tile changes when you cut down the tree. I won't get so much time as I wish I have to play the game this week, but I look forward to play it some more.It would be great to have the same chat features like channels, friend list and the other chat commands like in Swamp.Keep up the fantastic job Aprone. It's so fantastic.

Hello all.So I was playing one of the eyes free games called zarodnik for android.I know how to make the creature move in a straight direction, but I'm having problems getting him to turn when I here a creature to my left or right. Unfortunately the manual on their site doesn't give enough info on how to do this. Hi ishen, it is because you are ogoing offline after 30 seconds after you get damage. For example, the bear is attacking you, and you exiting the game, you will stay 30 seconds and the bear, sure, will kill for this peiece of time.

sadly though the messenger app for iphone is not completely accessible, i've ran into a nasty bug where if i am in a call and i want to end it voiceover refuses to speak and i'm unable to do this with the two fingers double tap gesture. i've used the mobile version of facebook for a long time but some features of it aren't like uploading files and videos are not supported, i'm glad that the main site is now accessible with the f123 addon, there are also short cuts for viewing chat messages and file uploading is completely accessible.

Oh, question about includes and such. It would obviously go against the spirit of the contest to use something you've already been working on, but what about useful includes / libraries / etc? I don't remember how Philip Bennefall's BGT competition handled this (was it "no third party includes", "publish all includes ahead of time", or something else?).

Killer Instinct has hit windows 10 store, not Steam though. this version has controler support and I think steam can learn a couple of things from this, because forumight Sightless Kombat has tried the game and has said that the invite dialog, where you can invite new players to a game, actually works with NVDA which has definitely impressed me quite a lot.

I am also training to have a Dragonite. I didn't intend to get it in my team originally, as I already had it in other Pokemon games, but I got in mind to fill up my Pokedex until the gym error is fixed, so I'll probably use Dragonite.

Eventually the swamp tiles may have a more direct use.  I'm keeping my options open, but pitch was indeed something I had been thinking about.The gems and ores keys were fixed shortly after I posted the public beta, but several people grabbed the slightly older copy of the file.  If you download it again, G and O should work properly.I am 100% with you about the radio.  Radio modes and channels are on my list, but game bugs and balance issues always found a way to push radio stuff aside.  I plan to finish coding those things as soon as I'm able, and I do apologize for all the public testers who are currently limited to channel 1, haha!  I like the idea of putting achievement notifications into game history, so on my copy of the client I've already made that change.  When I post a new client (not sure when), that change 
 will be in it.  I also haven't yet sat down to code a way for people to even see what their achievements are.  It is also on my list of things to do.The buckets for hard boiled eggs was done for similar reasons to iron arrows and hemp bow strings... an attempt at game balance.  Sometimes it is frustrating, but I had to put limits on jobs so that the various "tech" directions were relatively balanced out.  Chickens and eggs were far too useful compared to other "basic" foods, so requiring iron to consume the eggs bumped them into a "medium grade" food.  The supplies and buildings needed for different things in the game were often times tweaked and changed in order to keep some things equal to others or to intentionally make some things more difficult than others.It hasn't come into play as much yet during public testing, but some job requirements are also taking the store into consideration (to a small deg
 ree).  Since arrows were brought up, those can be used to demonstrate what I mean.  The iron of the arrows means you would have to have mined iron ore and smelted it.  The bow requires a textile mill for hemp rope, and I believe the workshop to construct it.  Those could be thought of as 2 different "tech" directions to go in.  If a player was able to make rope, bows, or arrows, any of those 3 could be put up on the store.  As long as they were affordable prices, other players could see bows for sale and choose to put off making their own hemp farm, textile mill, and workshop.  Getting a bow + arrows combination, without the resources and time of making those 3 extra tile types, is worth a lot.  These types of divisions in the tech tree allow for people to make some good money with the store system.  In the last public test I saw people fine tune their land toward the production of a few useful items/materials, and then continua
 lly sell them for affordable prices.  They had a constant income stream, and others got to skip over making those things themselves.I'm a big fan of player driven economies!

hey guys, it's great that you cant make watermaster until you win the game, but i think i have another bug to report. when i go to 7-1 and enter the door, i have 5 abacuses attacking me, not just one. anyone else having it? also boy, thanks for the link. i have something to offer. what about the mode that will unlock after you beat legend? in this mode, bk1, bk2, and bk3 will be combined. you have to play through them and you can't use shops! all will be locked besides the stages levels. also, enemy levels will be something like this. normal enemies ranging from  2 to 21000. first boss, 25k, second 30k, third 35k, fourth, 40k. and it will go to about 100k. after beating this mode you'll get psycho injector. the thing will make enemies target there kind, and leave you alone for a short time. i think that will be sooo much fun! also, what about scoreboard about hp, mv, attack, tech cause now i have 1400 or so of it. i bought a wrong kind of fr
 uits. whoops. also can anyone explain to me how does the number puzzle works? translation is sucky on it. also i'm planning to do playthrough of bk3 on normal from start to finish as soon as i get headset working. anyone is interested in legend of ain recording? when i get to it, that is. which could be soon, i think if i play bk3 nonstop,  i can get through all modes in 2 weeks or so. right now i'm trying to get 100 metals of each modes. i also learned that if you kill something in final boss level, unknown energy will start warping around the area, making a hard target to hit. speaking of warping, anyone knows where is warp launcher? i'm out of ideas on it. thanks for help, thanks.

While I wouldn't like doing anything like this myself, I do suppose a reverse sale/price hike does make sense if the project has substantially grown beyond what it was when it first started being sold.  I have seen mainstream games do that sort of thing, but usually presented in a way that you're getting the original game plus paying for 1 or 2 expansion packs which are built into it.Magurp's mention of micro transactions sort of falls into the same category.  I can see where micro transactions can be a fair way to fund a game, but in many cases they cross a line and seem quite unethical to me.  I have received many requests for me to add micro transactions to my own games, but I just can't see myself doing it.  At the end of the day you have to live with yourself, and I think I'd feel pretty terrible if I was "nickle and dimeing" people for virtual items and power ups.  I understand that no one is forcing the play
 ers to buy those things, but it makes me very uneasy.DLC is something I fully understand, and am only bothered by when companies lie about it.  In my view, buying DLC (downloadable content) is just like buying an expansion pack for a game.  We've been doing that for decades, everyone knows how that works, so DLC is just a digital version of that.  Where the problem starts is when companies claim you're buying DLC but all of the "downloaded" content is already on the game's disk or was already part of the original download.  In those cases you are really talking about micro transactions since you are just unlocking something they had already made.  The idea of DLC (and expansion packs in the older days) is that you already paid for the game they built, and now you are funding a new project that happens to add content onto the game.  If the new content was already built into the original game, then calling it "DLC
 ; is dishonest in my opinion.

So, question. My apologies in advance if this has been answered before, but how often does the ranking update. I played a really good game with 3 other people, where we got to round 24, I had over 500 kills, but my ranking did not change at all. This was yesterday and this morning it did not change. So either it only updates once per day, or I got ripped off...

@aprone, I'm liking the game thus far and actually progressing rather well, I like the new iron ore swamp thing though perhaps a clear swampland once you've mined the iron ore from  undernieth,  that's assuming of course there isn't some use for swampland tyles later, eg, gathering herbs for use in medicines or cooking, cutting peat to burn as fuel as an alternative to firewood, or even looking for other important soils such as pitch or salt peter, - yes, boom!I do however have a bug, when I was using o or g to show gems and ores, I was getting lists of above ground squares with trees and things on, not the underground ones, which was odd. It'd also be nice to be able to turn chat off and on, sinse if I'm listening to the requirements for a job I don't want to be interupted with a chat message, or maybe just have the ability to set whether chat messages interupt incoming text or not.Speaking of Chat, I'd al
 so like a way to review completed achievements, and  at least some prospective achievements, sinse I think I missed a couple of initial messages about them from the server, also it'd be nice to know what I can work towards (secret achievements aside), indeed I love those styles of things in game and achievements could be used to create single player objectives further down the line, stuff that wouldn't be doable in a week of online play. @Aprone, Your right, there is no list of sighted developers of audiogames, sinse it would be a little screwy. there is also no real specific conclusion to draw sinse things have been in a vast range, from developers working for kids, to developers who create stuff that is overly symplistic, to developers who make short play arcade or traditional games like Ian humphries, going right up to developers who make some mega complex stuff such bas Jason Alan's Entombed or Touchmint with Adventure to fate. Sometimes they're experimental things, sometimes they're because the developer is just interested in the idea, sometimes they're a thesis. Likewise, some developers leave, some stick around. The only really major difference is that when sighted developers who are themselves gamers set out to create more involved or mechanically detailed games, they have rather more knolidge of mechanics to draw on. For example,I recall a debate I had with Thomas ward a 
 few years ago where I remarked that all the audiogames that were side scrollers such as superliam had fixed walking speeds, jumping arcs and stopping distances, while in most graphical games, even those made in the days before thumb sticks, touch screens and analogue controlers, walking speeds and jump distances were based on how long you held the button or direction down and what you'd done previously, eg, when you push right in super mario brothers, mario's walking speed increases until he's at top speed, and with his speed increase it'll take him more time to stop, (more so if the run button is held). Obviously blind developers never got to play the original graphical games, so never had the experience, which has a knock on affect on basic game mechanics, then again before I go off on my old rant of "judgement! not reaction is what makes a good game" I'll stop. @Ishen, We don't know at the moment.  ds upon applying for visas and lots of things for my fiance to stay in Britain, indeed it turns out I'll save massive amounts of money by getting married in the states and then applying for my lady to enter the country after we're married, rather than for her trying to apply to enter the country and get married and then have to apply to stay as my wife. It's all a major headache. Besides, sinse neither her parents nor my parents can travel and because we've both got friends on either side of the atlantic we're probably going to have two ceremonies anyway.In terms of the important bit of being married, ie, emotional as opposed to legal, we pretty much both decided that just before christmas, although it was more an acknolidgement of something we both knew than anything else, indeed I didn't ask my lady and she didn't ask me, we both asked each other on a count of three and then went to buy engagement rings next day.As to "unmarrie
 d so far" well actually we've been remarkably quick about it, indeed so quick it's surprising, albeit as I said rather inevitable that it was going to happen. To say we first lived together officially as a couple for a week in November, then my lady's visa ran out and she had to go back to the states, then we met up in december and within the first week we'd got engaged. I don't know if your bit of India is one of the places where it's more common for parents to arrange marriages for their children or for couples to not live together before the wedding, but obviously that's different over here, heck there are some couples who live together in very stable relationships for years but don't feel the spiritual or legal need to have the ceremony, albeit that sinse my lady is a christian and I at least believe in God, I do think there is something to be said for a divine acknolidgement, after all for various weerd reasons it's extrem
 ely odd that my lady and I ended up together at all, chances against it happening were staggering, indeed if you'd told me this time last year that a girl who I'd at that point just had a casual chat with via e-mail and was just preparing to meet at Aims music school in April would a year later be someone I was going to spend the rest of my life with I'd have thought you'd been at the funny mushrooms .@Tjt, all of aprone's games are worth a try, though I'd have to say castaways 1 (and probably soon to be two), as well as Swamp are personal favourites, then again I've had fun with all of them, though sadly not has as much time on swamp as some people or as I would've liked.

Yes, that comment was a compliment, and what a good thing it is that you are aware that you are sighted. Some people like Ian Humphreys and Marty Schultz have stuck around having made over thirty games. My comment was that, for me at least, Aprone's games seem to be very understanding of the preferences of screen-reader users. I've only played three of his games; my favourite is Dog Who Hates Toast. I would love to see that on iOS someday.
