Any disability is by it's definition abnormal, therefore any access measure involves expending extra resources to satisfy a smaller group of people. For a company only motivated by prophet, this is absolutely a no no. Accessibility is a moral, not an economic imperative, which is one reason why it tends to be used by people,  either justifyably or not, to take the moral high ground since whichever way you cut it,  and resources have been expended upon a group of people, ie disabled people who cannot justify that effort with enough gain. this is why generally accessibility is tied to left wing thinking and matters of equality, and also why gove
 rnments tend to be involved, since if we go ultimately to the complete right wing free market end of things where everything! is governed by prophet, we wind up with the industrial revolution where disabled people were reduced to the status of beggars. of course, there are! moral and experiencial justifications for accessibility, particularly if we understand @disability@ as a more universal state, eg, a person who has trouble following a film's plot might benefit from audio description and it tends to be these concerns that I voice to developers. In an ideal world, we shouldn't have to pass laws that try to mandate including every one regardless of their race, religion, ethnicity, or ability. It would just be automatic that everyone is thought of when designing products, services, and access to public places.Unfortunately, this is not a perfect world. So I try to recognize the things I can change, the things I can't, and most importantly, to know the difference between the two.

Greetings all. I've managed to finish off asteroid mining, its the same as the previous system with a bit of a twist. When you reach an asteroid, you will have to lock it into place before you can mine it. This means your ship has to have a tractor beam installed, and how far away you can be from the asteroid to pull it into range depends on your tractor beam's range. It also depends on your tractor beam's speed. In addition, i've rebuilt the starting ship. Its now a 5 roomed configuration craft, 1 room for the airlock, another acting as a hub between all the ships sections, 1 acting as the systems bay which houses all your ships systems including your sensor array and tractor beam, a cargo bay with enough space for 10 peaces of cargo and a control room to let you fly the ship. When flying it, you only have manual pilot to rely on. I've got just a few more tests to run and a few more things to do, mainly involving level 1 of the offline story, then, the ga
 me will be ready to go back up. Oh, and for the online story. I'm going to wait to start putting it in until the offline story is complete.

They have a music engine to generate midi with, and this can be generated to a file as well and treated like any object, for example you can make an organ puzzle similar to that found in Chillingham with this. You can also generate tones with it's audio processing engine, similar to BGT's tone generator.Those are the big audio changes. One other thing is that they now have an internal microphone class, apparently making it possible to add voice recognition to apps and such.The other big thing is tutorial re-design. They have tutorials in tracks now, which means they've got the fundimentals in one called core, tutorials with a focus on visual apps in one aptly named, an audio track focusing on tutorials for audio, such as the afformentioned musical engine although there are some visual tutorials in there, with some audio elements, like making a Frogger game that, when you're done with the tutorial, probably won

I don't think we're even known by the usability community.Anyways, I've been trying to branch out and gain more support and drumming for my game and I've kind of noticed a few worrying trends in these communities:1. They seem more interested in forcing developers to follow standards rather than actually achieving those standards. I think this is the wrong approach. As more and more developers are able to jump on board with development, the ability to actually educate these people on proper accessibility standards is reduced. Combined with point #3 I think this is a recipe for wasted resources.2. The movement seems pretty damn broiled in left-wing politics, which not only I think alienates many people who would benefit from accessibility, but is completely unnecessary to most issues regarding accessibility. Most accessibility issues, in my opinion, should be treated as technical issues, because oftenti
 mes there's very little that politics can do to help the problem. in the case of the ADA for example, it unintentionally caused other problems, such as the wheelchair/blind competition problem, so politics is at best a risky choice that should only be implemented if it's likely the laws will improve the situation, such as ramp building codes.3. Moral parading seems to be a major issue as well. More people seem interested in denouncing developers who can't implement accessibility and limit their assistance of these developers to special talks. Furthermore, often embarrassing suggestions such as this are presented by actual professionals. By the way, "Always On" is a terrible idea because it pushes away non-disabled users. A better solution would just be an accessibility toggle.4. Way too much focus on "inclusivity". While I personally feel that disabled people should be
  included, just going around spamming about how much better you are than others because you're "inclusive" comes off as arrogant and makes you look like you look down at other developers, who are already often overworked. The issue is more objectively rooted in a social utility problem - disabled people are seen as "useless" and accessibility helps make them "useful". It's a lot harsher and a lot less appealing to morals, but it gives a proper solution to actually help in the problem outside of pointing fingers at "bad people". Furthermore, the inclusive label to outsiders is very reminiscent of the 90's fad of having disabled people appear in cartoons as an obligation for the network, implying that disabled people are "the third wheel", and I think that this "accessibility stench" shows.5. Lots of focus on word policing. Listen, I know I have a harsh mouth and I know it's a cruel thing to call so
 meone who's mentally handicapped a "retard", but going and telling people that certain words shouldn't be used is, for lack of better words. FUCKING RETARDED. It doesn't actually achieve anything, and people will still be nasty either way, so you're not even teaching disabled people how to deal with these problems. Personally, I'm a fan of Private Internet Access. I've been happily using it for just over a year now, and I believe it's mentioned in that Torrentfreak article that was linked above if I remember correctly. One great thing about it is that all of their dedicated apps are accessible, on Windows, IOS, and Android that I know of anyway. You could also just use Open VPN and plug in your credentials if you're more comfortable with that. But they are a solid company with a good reputation, who seem to be paying a lot more attention to accessibility concerns within the past few months.

Yes, I was doing stage 20 level 3.I walk until I reach 39 - 0, and then I use the Super UFO and climb up as high as I can, witch is 39 - 28 I believe,then I press right arrow 2 times witch brings me to 41 - 28 of course, when I let go of the space bar at that points, the player falls down to 41 - 0.Not sure if I am doing something wrong really.tgh1925tobiasheath24 wrote:Hello Mohammad. I don't think we're even known by the usability community.Anyways, I've been trying to branch out and gain more support and drumming for my game and I've kind of noticed a few worrying trends in these communities:1. They seem more interested in forcing developers to follow standards rather than actually achieving those standards. I think this is the wrong approach. As more and more developers are able to jump on board with development, the ability to actually educate these people on proper accessibility standards is reduced. Combined with point #3 I think this is a recipe for wasted resources.2. The movement seems pretty damn broiled in left-wing politics, which not only I think alienates many people who would benefit from accessibility, but is completely unnecessary to most issues regarding accessibility. Most accessibility issues, in my opinion, should be treated as technical issues, because oftenti
 mes there's very little that politics can do to help the problem. in the case of the ADA for example, it unintentionally caused other problems, such as the wheelchair/blind competition problem, so politics is at best a risky choice that should only be implemented if it's likely the laws will improve the situation, such as ramp building codes.3. Moral parading seems to be a major issue as well. More people seem interested in denouncing developers who can't implement accessibility and limit their assistance of these developers to special talks. Furthermore, often embarrassing suggestions such as this are presented by actual professionals. By the way, "Always On" is a terrible idea because it pushes away non-disabled users. A better solution would just be an accessibility toggle. Here's another example of moral parading

While I personally feel that disabled people should be included, just going around spamming about how much better you are than others because you're "inclusive" comes off as arrogant and makes you look like you look down at other developers, who are already often overworked. Furthermore, the inclusive label to outsiders is very reminiscent of the 90's fad of having disabled people appear in cartoons as an obligation for the network, implying that disabled people are "the third wheel", and I think that this "accessibility stench" shows.

Listen, I know I have a harsh mouth and I know it's a cruel thing to call someone who's mentally handicapped a "retard", but going and telling people that certain words shouldn't be used is, for lack of better words. FUCKING RETARDED. It doesn't actually achieve anything, and people will still be nasty either way, so you're not even teaching disabled people how to deal with these problems. This "unconscious verbage" shit seems like an excuse to ignore doing more tangible work.6. The community as a whole only seems interested in implementing standards, rather than reworking them for modern computing.In my opinion, the correct approach to modern accessibility is to produce more relevant modern standards, and actually provide toolkits that other developers can easily use to implement accessibility seamlessly. The sound_pool has a method for the river example, but it takes several arguments, and it can be hard to remember all of them and what order they're in. pool.play_extended_2d("river.wav", listener_x, listener_y, sound_x, sound_y, left_range, right_range, backward_range, forward_range, looping, offset, start_pan, start_volume, start_pitch); In this case, I'd make looping = true, and ofset and start_ values 0.0, except for start_pitch, because a pitch of 0 is almost inaudible. If you don't want any special pitch, just use 100.I find play_extended methods to be somewhat cumbersome, so I write a function to save time. However, this works because I usually keep track of the camera separately, and use geometric objects to keep all the position and range values manageable. Basically, the sound_pool is a fire-and-forget method of playing sounds. It allows you to easily update the entire soundscape when the player moves, but optionally keep
  variables for the sound slots, if you need to move them individually. You can also set all of your step and behind variables once (or just use the defaults), and never type them again. You can easily pause_all, resume_all, and destroy_all. You might call it a soundscape manager.

Don't have the link on hand... but the guide is easy to find. It's the only FAQ for tekken 7.QTE's don't appear in this game as much as they do in NRS titles, and are usually only one button. Below are the first two from the first 4 chapters. Not every chapter has these.Prologue: After being beaten by young heihachi, a sequence will show Heihachi carying the limp body of his son to the edge of a cliff. Press both punch buttons to throw kid Kazuya off the cliff.Chapter 1: Heihachi single handly takes on tekken forces while he takes back the Mishima zaibatsu. After Heihachi physically beats several soldiers into submission, right before you jump into gameplay, you will be required to dodge attack. Press right on the DPad to do so.

There are so many games where you shoot, get points and some kind of coins for doing so.So please answer me: If the game is that much simular to Swamp, where are the missions where you pick up crates? Where are the quests? In Swamp: Where are the cars which hits you if you don't be careful?Personally, I don't find Humans vs. robot simular to Swamp at all. Hello,  So I've recently been reading a really good historical fiction series written by Robert Fabbri. It revolves around the character of Vespasian, who one day would be come emperor of Rome. The problem is, I can't find the third book, False God of Rome. I've tried looking on audible and it wouldn't show up. Hello Mohammad. If you go to 39 (x) and then go as high as you can. Go right until you get to 41 (x) and then let go of space. Your detecter should be reacting quite strongly. Then you detonate 2 c4 bombs to get to the boss. If you can't see the platform anywhere even after what I've told you, make sure you are doing 20-3 (Stage 20 level 3.) That should help.

I have no idea how to make a sound to be heared in the center for more time while walking.Let's say I placed a river somewhere on the map. When using sound_positioning, the river can be heared just on the square where is placed, then if you move, the sound starts decreasing.What I want to do, is to make that river hear in the center let's say for 10, 20 squares.What method would you advise me to use?

The teleporter is already active, because the box has already been pushed onto the switch. Consequently, the switch is gone. @Caccio, yes it is ironic, though I will also say that even if  did happen to be lucky enough to be online when another person could give me quests, I don't know if I like the idea of basically serving basically being an underling. Well, it is better used because its just easier than actually using sound objects and having to update them all. Unfortunately no. Microsoft is centralized meaning, they don't usually accept screen names due to security purposes. The only way to change it is to change your actual name to your screen name. For that, you'll have to log into your microsoft account and change it to your screen name.

At Mahdi as I stated above, you can get it from the steam platform. The regular version will not work under windows 10, the steam edition is the original gold package with the boeing f18 and some other nice aditions.Greetings moritz

Help needed with the sound pool class in bgt

Hello,I am really confused with the sound pool thing in BGT. Could someone explain why is better to use it instead of using the ordinary sound play metod? Which are the advantages? And also, could someone make a small code example and comment it? I'm really confused about it, and a better explaination would be really, really appreciated.Thank you in advance

If you're going to share stuff, don't set it to something like your downloads.Make a new folder and tell it to sync with that, otherwise, things are just going to get confusing.I use to see this a lot when I use to be part of a folder for NVDA addons.That folder became a huge mess, with music, videos, and other crap that I certainly didn't need so naturally, I left.If you know what the folder contains, make a folder and call it something related to what it'll contain, Fanfiction for example.
