Well, i thought this toppick was new but... Whatever. I fear of my mind, too; Thanks to it i lived the most horrific nightmare i've ever had on my life and was a very, very very scary momment. It was so strong that i ended screaming in fear when i woke up and not only that, i ran like crazy through the house still screaming; i realiced that was just a dream 15 minutes latter. I fear the weird noices and i do fear the night. Actually is much easier to feel myself distrubed; The most funny thing is i love the horror philms, i love the horror stories and i love everithing in between related to it. But when i listen something that disturbs perturvates me i get pannicked and try to run from everithing lol

I beg to differ. Let’s look at the example of two games which are currently played by blind community. In Alter Aeon, you have one dedicated channel which specifically guide you to do quest, and people are not complaining or whining about the effort put into making the maps and all sorts of things. Secondly, my favorite game Manamon, people are discussing and even wrote a step by step instruction on completing the stadium. I may not neceessary follow the guide, however it is handy for someone somewhere in the world who requires. These are just 2 examples, and it should do no harm in STW to have the same. With that in mine, let’s start to put up a few quests info, little bit at a time. 1.    The axe_build quest can be done by making an axe. It’s freaking easy there. 2.    The Fisherman’s boot can be found in the ocean west of the fishing village. You just need energy, a boat and a paddle, cross 3 oceans to the west of the village  and, while in the third ocean, press K to track for shallow water or sand. 3.    All the doctor’s quests are inside the hospital. What a better place for the doctors. 4.    mountain_climb, just climb the mountain to the east of the Main Land and look for the mountain medallion. 5.    cave_entrance will be to the east of the Campground, near the shallow water. 6.    safe_havon can be completed by making a shelter. 7.    old_mans_hat: a.    From the pine forest, head west to the shore, then continue north. b.    When you reach the end of the map, Press shift enter to continue north. c.    Once again, keep going north, and press shift enter to continue. d.    At this juncture, follow closely the eastern side of the wall  until you get to the place where you can continue east. You should now land on the grassy slope. e.    Continue east and travel into the rabbit hill. f.    When you are in the rabbit hill, turn south and keep going and you will land on the lush forest. g.    Continue south and mean while press k to track dirt.  Go through the dirt, after a few cycle turn west. You should hopefully find fence, which upon following it lead you into the house. h.    Enter the house and rest inside. i.    When you had enough rest, get out through the door, and find the tree next to it. Climb the tree, and there you will find the item to complete the old_mans_hat’s quest. 8.    leaf_canipy_search can be completed by going to the Arid Grassland, and climb the Out of Place Banana Tree. Some hint: try to track the spring in order to get closer to the tree. I will end this post by giving caution that the instructions above is not a 100% guide. You should refer to BSG for better instructions going from map to map. If anyone are interested to shed some lights on more quests in STW, feel free to do so. Never let some influence dampen your spirit of sharing.

Depends on what you need really. If you just want to manage your BitCoin then the official client works. I use blockchain.info, and the CounterParty wallets based on CounterWallet all seem to be OK if you need one of those. I've also traded on LocalBitcoins.com and have at various times played around with other parties like CoinBase. Just give them a try, and don't do anything risky!

Fair enough, but running a VPS with OpenVPN or whatever is not straightforward, and you don't get the static IP address assigned directly to you. So, swings and roundabouts really. nvpn.net is $8/month for the same public IP albeit that you need dedicated software AFAICT, and must manually forward ports. My ISP offers this service to me for free using my existing IP allocation, or I can pay £10/month for it with a new address. I'm sure there will be others if you Google about ...Perhaps what we really need is a social VPN just for audio games. That would be fun, I suppose. Somebody could set it up, and then whoever wanted to game could log in. But it would not be peer-to-peer, so there would be a latency penalty.

There is only a "next" button.  When I press that, it says "submitting...", but then nothing happens.  All I see is the same edit fields for email and verification code, and a next button.  I tried pushing the next button again, but nothing at all happened.  Like I said, this should not be an issue.  It should not be this difficult just to create an account.

I'll see what I can do, maybe a setting in options that'd allow you to change the volume of room sounds and environmental sounds? Also, for everyone else. I've now made it so that only the ships you own will be presented as an object on the map. This means that for you on earth, you should experience way less loading times, the same goes for moving to other areas. Also on your end the maps that have a lot of ships in them should appear way less crouded, and their's less objects for you to deal with on the view menu. If this change is way too unrealistic, let me know and i'll reverse it, though for the next version i'll be reworking the view menu for online play.

The way I do the old man's hat is to go north through the Arid Grassland in the Stream, turn east at the bend, climb down the dangerous waterfall, go East through the river, and walk North into the Quiet but Windy Forest. Trac gravel, and go through the gravel path that takes you directly into the house.For the quests in rabbit Hill, the Western ocean, and Grass dominated forest: The note spawns south of Rabbit hill in one of the holes as paper. Be patient as it sometimes taes a while for the soggy crumpled note to appear.The large rusty key can be found by tracking water, which is a pond you can climb down into, then dive. It might spawn as marsh, mud and other things, so again, be patient.Finally, in the grass dominated forest, look for a breach on the Southeast side of the map where it says near the gentle grassy slope. Go under the slope, then walk all the way West until you hear water tiles. Dive under, then walk south. Walk East again and dive under to
  walk South. Then walk back West and South until you find a wall, and walk around it until you find a diveable part that takes you into the well-hidden cave. From my experience the treasure chest appeared in the Southeast corner of the cave.

Let's say you read these, go to the game, complete the quests, then brag about it all day in out of character. Hello to all of you, i have a little problem.I am not allowed to know the password of my rooter at home and i asked my pairents to help me with port forwording, but they don't think it is safe, although i have shown them an article or 2, they still don't fell like helping me.So my question is, is there a virtual way for me to forword ports? the reason why i want to forword ports is for playing games.games like manamon, palice punch up, and so on.but as you all see, i just can not get my pairents to think it is safe.if any one can help me, i would be happy. i googled a virtual way for port forwording, but could find nothing accessible. i found upnp port mapper, i downloaded java and just to find that it was not accessible.

Oh my goodness. Here we are, first posting bugs to the public, then now posting quest instructions. Let's say you read these, go to the game, complete the quests, then brag about it all day in out of character. So pretty much you are a lazy ass who relies on others to figure stuff for um, some people've got to understand, it's no fun to complete a quest, unless you do it alone. What next, all i gotta say is have fun.Anyways let's see, aultr, even if you know where to complete the quest, you would stil have a challenge, fighting and what not. Manamon, even if you know where to go, you'd still have to battle and so on. STW, the quest system there is just not developed, not good enough? All you gotta do is explore the map, pick an item, hell I even know people who don't know a bit of windywolf completed the quest in there. Why? Because they were guided by there friends.

I'd love to get hold of Frank black, Eamon deluxe developer and let him know about the talking dosbox, since creating a version of edx that can run on anything  including post xp windows has been something we discussed. while I did get an email from him last year, I'm unfortunately not sure where he is n now, though I do hope he'll get back and help to create a universal version of ed  edx, since the games are indeed awesome, especially with a lot of the enhancements and updates made to them in edx (such as the   main hall that lets you actually build up your character between adventures).

The way I do the old man's hat is to go north through the Arid Grassland in the Stream, turn east at the bend, climb down the dangerous waterfall, go East through the river, and walk North into the Quiet but Windy Forest. Trac gravel, and go through the gravel path that takes you directly into the house.For the quests in rabbit Hill, the Western ocean, and Grass dominated forest: The note spawns south of Rabbit hill in one of the holes as paper. Be patient as it sometimes taes a while for the soggy crumpled note to appear.The large rusty key can be found by tracking water, which is a pond you can climb down into, then dive. It might spawn as marsh, mud and other things, so again, be patient.Finally, in the grass dominated forest, look for a breach on the Southeast side of the map where it says near the gentle grassy slope. Go under the slope, then walk all the way West until you hear water tiles. Dive under, then walk south. Walk East again and dive under to
  walk South. Then walk back West and South until you find a wall, and walk around it until you find a diveable part that takes you into the well-hidden cave. From my experience the treasure chest appeared in the Southeast corner of the cave.Oh yeah! In the western ocean outside the grass dominated forest, look for the bloody corpse of Henricus underwater.

@Tensoon, yep, Ios isn't cheap, though I did get an iphone myself  in 2012 and  haven't regretted it,   although I hate the way it handles media and stay far away from itunes. There is always the option of an Ipad if you don't fancy the phone, which can I believe run most  games etc. android does have some accessibility options as well, though the list of available accessible games for android is rather limited at the moment.

I'm sure anyone who knows about internet rpgs will have checked out Puppet nightmares the evil,  twisted version of pokemone where you collect soul puppets, battle them and make your way through a dark, semi anime enspired story. Fantastic. Another case of the parents being digital illiterates.  In all seriousness though, there's Hamachi, which should work, but nothing beats actual port forwarding, why don't you have them do it themselves after telling them it's safe, and tell them that usually, depending on the router, it will ask you what device needs this port forwarded so it's not like all devices on the network will have this port forwarded.

This silent crash only happens on a Braillenote Touch tablet, technically a Texas Instruments Omap4 board running android 4.4.2. It doesn't happen on my nexus6p running the android o dev beta. However, that hanging when the boss was defeated, happens to me as well.

Hi, Firstly, I really like the game and the concepts so far, I'm really excited to see what more may be added in future. I do have a bug though. I'm on Pluto and trying to fight, but when I press space to fire my weapon, the game freezes and the following pops up: "Their was an error while attempting to run your last command. Please notify the administrators of what you were doing to cause the error." No keys I press afterwards seem to work.

some people here are overreacting with this quest thing in stw.for nearly every game of the world (and for games much more difficult and challenging tan stw) there are lots of guides or step instructions to help people find secrets and uncover all of the games endings, and so on.some people don't have time to sit there for long periods of time exploring large maps to find a single spot where an item could appear, or just one or two tiles where a ladder is.even in stw you can do lots of things without touching the quest system, like or not, it is exactly the same thing as manamon, shades of doom, and every other game you can think of.I have completed several mainstream games, like metal gear solid, odin sphere, megaman x4, x5, x8. and if someone ask me any question to go through an area, or finding some secret item, i'll never say things like

Using RPG maker to make accessible games

I posted a topic about this on Reddit a while back, but I figured I might as well post it here as well with the hopes that someone might jump on my idea.I don't know how much of this is possi9ble, and it will require a lot of time and effort, in addition, it can only6 be done by someone with some vision.I fooled around with fan made pokemon games a while back and realized that if you have access to the rpg maker project file you can modify and change a lot of aspects of the game.  I think it might be possible to make these games accessible, if not fully, to a large extent.  A lot of these games are already complete and contain up to generation 6 and sometimes 7 of pokemon.  They have an identical layout to that of the GBA/NDS versions of the game.  They are mapped with tiles.  That means that if you have access to the games files you can add triggers to the tiles which would make it possible to add sound triggers/loops to individu
 al tiles.  By using sound you can implement a system similar to that of Manamon where a sound would get louder if you approach a person, wall, chest etc.Once could also add sound triggers to conversations.  So if you pre-record dialogue with TTS you can simply trigger it when having a conversation.  The same thing can be done with menus, pokemon and moves.The only thing I have not figured out yet is the numbers.  Things like HP and stats will be hard to figure out.I have only modded visuals myself, but I am sure someone with a bit of development background can figure this out.  These games are very high quality, some of them, arguably, surpass the originals.  They allow for online play and trading in he majority of the cases.If anyone reading this wants an example they should google the pokecommunity custom games forum.  If you want specific games to look at I suggest looking at Pokemon Insurgence to see how good a game 
 can become, and Pokemon Metal for a game that has all its resources made available including all the in-game text, stats, encounters etc.It may also be worth mentioning that the creators of these games all make use of Pokemon Essentials, which is a asset and resource package for RPG maker.  They include all the pokemon's stats, moves, menus, sounds etc. so a lot of effort is saved on adding raw data if someone wants to start a project from scratch.Also, if anyone reading this is interested in a guide on how to make a high contrast version of these games, if you have low vision, I can do that for you.  I coloured all the grass black except tall grass, I changed all the text boxes and menus to show white text on black backgrounds, I changed the HP bars to make it easier to see your current HP as well as the Pokemon's name by adding darker backgrounds and I added black backgrounds to the summary screen to make it easier to see stats and even the pokemo
 n sprites.

Some info about the screen reader would be nice, like if it's got English menues and how hard it is to set up. As an alternative, you can try ZDSR. I tried it some time ago but didn't use it much, now when I remembered it I should go play with it again. Hi,of course thunderbird can do that. I am not using this feature personally, so I can not tell you how to activate it correctly, but I turned it on by going to menu/View/threads/threads with unread messages, next enter the same place, but activate all threads instead, that turned my inbox to tree, in which are threads and their authors displayed together with information about read or unread messages, these threads can be expandet, so you can read included messages. I think it is what you was looking for.RegardsRastislav

hello. I have uploaded sound for aircrafts and audio. I can't remember if they are on this topic, if not then use the other eurofly topic called eurofly, first geographical simulator...there you will find an aircraft folder with new sounds for aircrafts and loads of new aircrafts, including the concorde that you were talking about. i can't see all i wrote previously, the message was cutt aparently. but basically, the audiogames comunity is here to help others, not the contrary.if you don't want to discuss spoilers in the main stw tread, that's fine, but, topics like this one are for people who can't find all the items.in bk3 for example, there are lots of secrets to discover, and we did it thanks to the help of the comunity working together. i've discovered and shared with others several secrets for bk2 back on 2012.but now, i have a job, i'm living alone with my girlfriend, and i don't have as much time as i had several years ago.Finally, don't asume all people who asks for help haven't tried themselves, maybe they're too tired after searching for days or weeks or months

So as long as we are in the discussion of port forwarding: What exactly is port forwarding and are there any analogous examples to explain this concept?The only way I can picture it is like having a set of numbered doors, some open and some closed. You have to tell the router to open these doors and allow traffic to flow to and from that door. But when you forward, it sounds as though you're trying to take a flow of traffic and reroute it into another direction.So knowing that, how would this programme work? Also, Why not host Manimum or Palace Punchup on a Linode-hosted server? Then you can avoid the routing problem.I myself have a MiFi card, and I can't host TeamTalk or other games because I don't have a usable public IP address according to the TeamTalk IP address helper.

Firstly, hosting on a vps such as Linode or Vultr would imply that the game is to be run on a dedicated server, which it's not. Most online games, particularly older ones, run pear to pear. You connect to someone's public ip, or they connect to yours. So in this case, a vps is of no help to you. Hamachi is a virtual network passthrough which doesn't necessarily require port forwarding, but it's not ideal as both parties have to have hamachi installed, and you either create a new network or join someone else's. Essentially, port forwarding is basically opening that port out to the public, allowing packets to be sent to and from it freely. So basically, if you were to run a website, you would need to forward port 80 for http, and port 443 for https. It's basically the firewall to your router. Without port forwarding, people would not be able to connect to directly to your router.

I see. Peer-to-peer communication is from computer to computer, rather than hosting it on a centralized machine, or dedicated server, as you call it.How do you know which port number is assigned to a given protocol? For example, why does TDV only use port 444 and 445? Why not 443 and 446?

i am so sorry for the double posting again, but since i am on the port forwarding topic, i want to talk aabout a game that requires port forwarding.i don't know if you know dragon pong by dragon apps, well a friend and i tried to play this game. and we did not succesfully get to play with each other!we used hamachi, as we are on a local connection. he entered my hamachi IP address, and we made use of the 2620 port, as for some or other reason hamachi only allowes that type of port.can some one please help me there?

Hi ThereFirst, this is not meant to be a flame, bash, destructive post, or what ever they're called these days.This is really, my own personal experience on the RS Games Administration team, nothing more, nothing less. I write this to inform.So, some of you may know, I was recently a coder/admin on Rs games. I coded the suggestion system, the notices system, and a new game called roulette. I also coded an email thing for the mods, though I'm not sure if that worked or not. anywho, I have now, unfortunately, stepped down from the team, after considering whether I had the time for it. At the end of my day, while *most* of the *average* level mods of that team are a nice, lively bunch, cosmic rage is my priority, and I do not have time to code for a team of laze abouts. I must admit, the lower administration team were wonderful, and I liked each one of them. AFter certain things came to light about the higher administration team, however, I started to dou
 bt the hole idea, due to my own moral codes. After a weeks consideration it became clear to me that I had to step down. I could not, morally, work for, or under, that team, and neither did I have the time to pretend otherwise. After I politely informed everyone of my resignation over the main skype group, and thanked them all for working with me, to me, the second in command became rather snippy, and I'd say, hacked off not to mention a little unprofessional. I say this not to bash, mearly so as to inform. In conclusion, while I did enjoy my time on the rs games administration team, and hope everyone enjoys roulette, when and if, another coder releases it, I would definitely like people to read and understand this:I did not, nor did I ever, feel included, nor welcome in the team, despite trying my hardest too. I was subject to one of the co owners flipping out on me on my first day due to not being informed of my assignment. After finding a distinct lack of team effort fr
 om everyone, especially in the coder department, I just slowly began to lose interest.Reall life cropped up[exams, cosmic rage, my marshal arts, you name it] and I just didn't have the time.I suffered a small mini-breakdown a few weeks ago, and it made me realise, I need to start getting rid of all the things I'm involved in.This was me doing that.At the end, I'll be the first to admit that my focus on RS became less than very active, but I offered the choice to the team of either staying on as a shorter admin, i.e I would be around if quick things needed fixing, and offer advice, or I would gladly step down.At the end I was treated improfessionally, and rather rudely. that's why I write this, so everyone, players and potential admins alike, is aware what they will face.That all being said, I actually, if you can believe it, enjoyed working with *most* of the team, and think RS has a world of potential.Thank you for read

Hey.Well guys, the game will come out when the dev team thinks that the game is ready, if it is coming at Christmas Eve, well, it does, and for a quality game like this, I don't mind a longer waiting period.While we are at it, I have to admit that I haven't really looked much at this topic, so which audio demos are available now actually? I personally don't have any specific complaints or praise for whomever is running the place over there. But I will say this. The client tells you to notify them of any bugs or other problems you notice. My main purpose for being there was to have a way to play the 1000 miles card game, after several plays I noticed a number of bugs in the game both technical and rules of the game. I sent an email as requested, and never got any kind of reply and the bugs are still there. So I have no idea if they collected those bugg reports for later reference or just deleted them. Either way doesn't bother me any as I don't use their gaming system any more.

Hi,you're wrong with the port here.There are so many wrong information in here, lol.Basically, port forwarding is called port forwarding because you forward a port through the router firewall towards a target you choose. By default all ports get blocked by the router to defend your computer from intruders. In fact, the router will always be called when someone connects to your ip address. If someone wants to connect to you on port 2620, the router will receive the request, and if no port forwarding rule is specified, the request will be deflected.So now let's get down to business with Hamachi.Hamachi creates some sort of a virtual private network. This network behaves itself like it's behind your router, so any requests sent over the ip address Hamachi provides for you will be routed towards the target pc without the router interventing.The Hamachi interface shows an ip V4 and an ip V6 address when checking the tree view of the n
 etworks in Hamachi. The 2620 you imagined would be the port isn't the port at all, it's the beginning of the IPV6 address given for the target by Hamachi.The port a game uses always needs to be defined by the game itself. There are ways to forward those ports to another port, but that's not the case here, so I won't explain that.In fact, if Three-D Velocity uses some ports below 1024 that's absolutely unsafe. All ports below 1024 are reserved for protocol usage which the operating system developers or some other important programs define.So, the information you're looking for needs to be found in the Dragon Pong documentation. You'll need to find the port Dragon Pong uses. If Dragon Pong uses a fixed port here, you won't need to add any port information to the address the client (the user who enters the ip address into the game to connect to the server) uses.Just create a network, all users who want to play together nee

I just learned a lesson, do not do the voice training in the Alexa app. For most of a week, my Echo has been flawless, then I decided to improve its interpretation of my voice so I did a couple of voice training sessions with it.In each of these sessions you are asked to say 25 sentences to the Echo in your normal voice and the way you would normaly talk.After doing this voice training my Echo now barely understands me. I now have to repeat things to it several times before it gets it right. Even worse, according to Amazon, there is no way to undo the effects of the voice training except to do a master reset to restore the Echo to its factory default condition, which means you have to go through all the set up you've already done including enabling all the skills you enabled and re setting them up if they had to be set up before use.

That's a pretty good explanation of how something like that works. I heard that there is a way to distinguish IP version 4 from IP version 6. IPV6 has : instead of . I have seen this though. 192.168.1.1:8080Again, how does one know which port is assigned to which protocol? For example, you said that all ports below 1024 are unsafe, and that they are reserved for more advanced protocol. But who says so? If the ports are fixed on something like Dragon Pine, but you don't know what ports they are, how do you know what ports the router should allow?
