win32 I believe comes from pywin32. So try withpip install pywin32also. Have you uninstalled python 64 bit and then installed python 32 bit, or are they both installed?

IDK, my java games are exactly as crappy as the BGT ports. Of course, they broke Javasound, so it's not like I can port them back (and reintroduce the Java-born problems).Someone who charges $5-20 to get people to the point where audio and redist work for anything other than BGT in under two hours would probably make, like, half a mint. Those are the main things that BGT does better than anything else (or at least, until the antivirus thing came along), that and maybe speech. I don't need training in how to code in these other languages; I need a freakin' map to getting sound to play and my programs to work on devices other than the one I created them on. Google has been insufficient to resolve this.

now, friends, keep in mind, that VPS, has nothing to do with dollar, he could buy a VPS located inside iran, that has nothing to do with dollar. if you buy from iranian websites, dollar isn't an issue, there are many iranian websites that provide you VPS, dollar being expensive matters in my case, because i buy games on steam every day, VPS doesnt have anything to do with that, at least those located in iran don't. firefight is hosted in iran and people have good pings, so high ping isn't an issue either.

Pokemon Crystal Access on Windows 10, only reading seems to work?

Hi,I have been trying to get Pokemon Crystal Access to work. However, no matter what I do, it seems only reading incoming text works for me. All the other keys listed don't seem to do anything, that includes j k and l, p, t and m.I don't think I have a numlock that could get in the way since this is a laptop without a numpad, but still ...it doesn't seem to do anything at all. L, when I press it, does not get echoed by NVDA but rather remains silent where J and K do get echoed, almost like some script isn't getting loaded. But the output window doesn't have anything to indicate what might be happening.I have tried both the official pokemon crystal 1.2 release that you find when you google as well as the scripts in the gitHub. The only thing I can't accurately verify is if I am using the right version of VBA rerecording as the  link in the GitHub Readme that lets you download that is dead, but I am assuming the v1.2 release contains that same interpreter.In the release, there is a gbc rom for Crystal that I've tried, I've also tried it with another Crystal rom I found and even with a few patched games, same result. Just what is it I am missing?Zersiax

@charlie, now you see what you mean. And i admitted maybe it was not you doing, but this are the original logs i got from my srv. A player called jerkyjerk did it, if you want i can also give you player file in private or also to ivan, if he wants to get this sorted i have nothing against this. And also it may be true that you didn't mend it to happen, but you tolt me i was warned 24 hours before. Now in the log: no i didn't it directly started just 4 minutes later.

I did not know you could just type keynames inside braces and they would work, but then again this has the same issue as that of the typekey () function, that is naming keys in a way that the script would understand that its control alt up arrow that I am trying to use when I write {ctrl+alt+up arrow} Does jaws have a list of keynames or codes that it recognises somewhere?As for what I am exactly trying to do its something like this. 1. find a specific text which falls in a table cell? row colom etc?2. if the text is found, use the ctrl alt up arrow command to go to and read the cell above that sell area where the line was located I have many more places such a thing would prove to be useful that's why my atempt at learning what different keystrokes should be written as so as to make jaws understand.The delay thing if it works correctly could also be very handy, but perhaps its just me that isn't getting it write. All of the after story bosses have rooms after they've been defeated. Once you enter, you can't go back out the way you went in. You have to finish the rooms, which usually involve a lot of platforming to get items.Yes the after story is purchased in the bonus shop for 20,000 bonus points. It's like a sequel to the main storyline with 2 more endings. You get to play 3 new dungeons and fight at least 1 new boss.

One time he says Paypal is not supported, then he says a dollar is too expensive, and after having Iranian vps's pointed out to him he suddenly goes back to his Paypal story?I'm just gonna say one thing right now. An honest game developer doesn't come up with these excuses (minus Paypal which is a legitimate concern, but we provided alternatives.) If they don't have the budget for something, they just straight up admit it and move on, maybe ask the community for some help, and broaden their horizons from clones to actual original games, maybe ask the community for help on sounds (or look at all the gdc sound library promo giveaways) and, you know, ell more games if that's your thing? And then eventually move to online play. That would be the responsible way to go. If you really are that desperate to make a game online when you haven't even shown us this apparent game developing prowess, then you're doing it wrong buddy.

Instead of putting Control+Alt+UpArrow into your script, you would put PriorCell () as that is the script you're trying to activate. It must just be that if you have a script containing a key command  that normally activates another script, it doesn't activate the script but passes the key command straight to the application where it does nothing. I wrote a similar script to the one you suggested for testing the delay, and although I think the delay part worked, I think what's happening afterwards is that when a new page loads, other scripts are automatically triggered, and these are making it look like the script didn't work. Not sure what to suggest. I'm no expert at this, and have got next to no experience of writing jaws scripts for webpages.

I typed in pip install win32 and it said I already have the module installed. I then uninstalled and re-installed the thing in hopes of fixing it, but no such luck. I still get the error, which is too big to be pasted in and basically shortens down to the one I got in post 5, aka, module not found. Tips please?

I don't have JAWS on here to test your script. Can you provide details for those of us who can't run it?With respect to your typeKey question, yes, JAWS has an understanding of key labels that let you type things like {CTRL+UP}; to execute the CTRL+UP command. They're somewhere in hjconst.jsh but I don't remember where. You can open hjconst.jsh and look for keycode or something like that.Scripting for web pages is always tricky because the new page has to be loaded into JAWS' memory (called the virtual buffer) before JAWS can interact with it. So a better way to write your script would be to have your script click the link, then code in the onPageLoad event will execute once the new page loads to resume the rest of your script. OnPageLoads isn't the exact name of the event that fires when a new page loads but I think you get the idea. For context switches you should always hook into the event loop that the language provides instead of potentially blocking sync processing.JAWS developers have done a good job at naming all of their events with "event," so you should be able to easily find the event that fires when a new page loads. Look for code that looks like its speaking the number of headings and things on a page and you should be pretty close to where you want to be.If I had JAWS I'd give you some code examples, but I hope this helps you a little anyway.

I'd forgotten how this thing seems to flash around a bit, you don't get everything in linear format. The Fury also doesn't really get much of a fight though, as far as I can hear anyway... just a shot to the face.

I am currently making a game in Python.Since it just uses the terminal to output text and it's accessible, I don't need sound hahahahaha!I'm sometimes forgetting indentation since I'm used to BGT, but that also helped me to get used to some things, I can already make classes which is not very hard lol.I also don't need speech, but does anyone wanna give me a sound library that *actually* works, instead of making clicking noises like pygame did.

Is there an operator which can redirect: x.y=2;To end up as: x[y]=2If so, you could probably make a dictionary. There's only one instance where I might consider such actions admissible. And this doesn't qualify in the slightest. I really can't believe I'm having to site the golden rule here but well.I believe giving small trivial tests here and there to be a sign of good faith. I've done it before. At the end of the day, your developer is the one who calls the shots and makes sure everything runs smoothly especially in an online setting. But there are rather obvious boundaries that you don't, under any circumstances, cross at the cost of your own reputability. This is undeniably one.As a general rule of thumb, developers are respected for their time, dedication, and management of a project. Players will naturally look at you as a role model and shining example of standards. If you act like a decent human being, so will most of your players. If you act like a 5 year old your players will stop taking you seriously.If you have a reason to test admins, make sure to do it on an account other than your own. Approach it in a professional manner so they have no possible way of knowing that it's you. A, it'll give better results. B, players should never never never see you acting out of line for fear of situations exactly like these.Keep the test isolated. Gameplay should never be effected. If players are having to mute chats or press anything out of the ordinary, you've probably gone too far. Stick to fighting unfairly, spamming PM's, personally harassing them and only them. I'm sure I'm failing to consider a couple remote scenarios, but figured I'd throw it here since we're by no means seeing this sort of thing for the first time.You say:masonian wrote:It was harmless fun.
