Most modern games will still run on I3 and 4 gb of ram. Atleast I haven't encountered a game that wouldn't run on my machine and I have these specs. I am using a 10 years old laptop and I can still play GTA V, MK 11 and soon. Sure, I had to set the graphical settings to the lowest resolution but I don't need it anyway since I am blind lol.

I think a team of my absolute favourites is Sylphantom, Mightauras, Symphonid, Sirenea, Volanteral and Garganchan, though others in that top list include Grandlan (purely for its coverage, which I've noted before is absolutely off the chart), Mantasteel, Wavotamus, Fowlusion, Maustadon and Glimerodo.I'm not really interested in just bullrushing with my favourites. I've done it before, but it wasn't a pure speedrun. I'm not interested in optimizing every part of a playthrough that way. I'd rather have challenge than constant nitpickery that can be fucked over by one miss, one critical hit or one misstep or missed cue. Also, I don't have a list of tamers, and I'm not intending on making one, so it's not as if I go tweak my team before every fight.I am leaning very slightly toward a magic playthrough currently (Sullorb, Cofatena, Oristar, Brain Dodderator. Squarpha, Mondevol) but am still wide open to the idea of another challenge. Someone who has used or is using Mondevol, mind telling me if this thing's best magic move is still Aura Master, or does it get Energy Pulse along with Superspark now? Because if it gets Energy Pulse or something like that, it can become the special attacker it's always wanted to be, especially with Sonic Screech, which is a lovely addition to its moveset.

Mmm, jack21, I'm afraid you might have missed my point in post 26. I was saying, as someone whose finished the game, the game includes a hole bunch of people from different nationalities, some of them rather odd choices for ancient Rome. In  difficulty terms though, these nationalities are just flavour text, people still tend to attack the same way, obviously getting a bit faster and doing more damage as you get up the game, and all are (from a difficulty perspective), equally easy with the right upgrades and a little practice. So, either you can say the game is racist against everybody, because all races represented in the game (including the animals), are of relatively equal lack of difficulty, or you can say the game is not racist at all. I  personally would say the game isn't racist at all, particularly because it takes place at a time when most modern nations didn't exist, and is a bit overthetop and down right silly anyway.If you want to see the game as  racist against the nationalities of everybody who appears in the game, well that's up to you. personally, I enjoyed the game for what it was, and liked the fact the developers tried to make the battles distinct with flavour text about the different characters you fought, and didn't personally think the game was at all racist for this reason.

@ironcross32, I don't know, it's a shame and something that occurred with all of tunmi13's games. Once I disabled windows defender temporarily, downloaded the game to a folder which I created as an exception and unzipped it, it was fine, but it's a pain that you need to go through this process. On the plus side, nice and silly game, though it would be good if there were achievements and such to play progressively, EG trophies for jumping so many jumps, or race courses where you had to go for so long before winning. Indeed, depending upon where you wanted to take this, a fun idea might be to  add a bit of stat training into the game. So, you could speedup and slow down with the arrows, but the faster you go, the less endurance your horse has, where as you need to slow down to let their endurance increase (yes, I am thinking of the marathons from breed memorial). As you win races and make more jumps, your horse gains in endurance, which lets them run faster, giving you a higher top speed and better control, and thus a way to get higher scores. Whether this does make it into the game, or whether this just stays as a bit of random arcade fun though, I definitely like the idea here. Btw tunmi13, I probably ought to add some of your games into the db. Any idea what you'd like to be called as a developer? tunmi13 or something else.

I'd be curious to hear you do a playthrough of this game where you just bulled through with all of your favorites. I think that's the one thing we haven't heard yet is a speedrun of these games in whatever way that's possible. I've heard blind playthroughs and some where they didn't seem to catch onto what was happening like using entirely the wrong type and dying over and over again, but not anything resembling a speedrun. I just did all the last resort protocol stuff and it was maybe the second easiest of the bosses. It just really is feast or famine with this team I have. There is no in between.

It is their version of the popular card game and they have made an impressive job with it. It is completely accessible, it's fun to play even on your own and it is frustratingly difficult to beat. You can even play with people who are using the same wi-fi network, just open a multiplayer game and let everyone join. I would really like to see some true multiplayer cappabilities in this game, I think it would be really awesome.

Each time you beat the master stadium, you can fight the Hyper Synphonid, Dyus, The Eternity Angel, and Biran with his hole team.If you've not completed the game, then here is a spoiler.If, by grinding you mean to catch Mons and complete manopedia, if you give 1 million gold to the Sulee city store, there hole inventory is unlocked and you can get some of the items like, Masters scroll, first addition, second, and third addition. These items make it a hole lot easier to get XP.

And...there she goes. Game is now beaten for the...tenth time? Eleventh? Not sure. Either way, this time it was definitely harder. The steel stadium master nearly walled me because virtually my entire team is weak to steel and I had very few answers for it. If he'd had a Mightauras, or used better moves, he'd have beaten me hard. But I got through.So I'm gonna change this up a little bit. I only wish I could record.Why don't you folks set me a challenge? A particular sort of team (all manamon share one type, each manamon only has one type, etc)? A specific team of busted mons, or a team of 3-4 mons instead of a full half dozen? Set me a reasonable but difficult challenge and I will see if I can meet it.Also, I think it's high time I got back to basics and traded off all my chrono cores. I have four of them. If anyone wants them, holler in here. If you end up grabbing all four, my gentle request is that you maybe spread the wealth around as you're able, at least eventually.Just for clarity's sake:Reasonable challenge would be using Chimerus, Mightauras, Cerberat and Dussocket only.Unreasonable would be using Miterosier, Myaneko and Vishthaugh only.

Alternative time Waster:  Go to the Northeast of the Hill area, find a subzone of some ruins. Explore for items and a unique manamon down one hole that will join your party.  Also for a bit more options for cash, experience and some revives, go all the way back to the town and explore the castle. There should be some tamer battles and hidden stuff all over.

@Brad: The entire point of that sequence is to run. The game is telling you you ust run and evade.If you must, turn on allies don't get grabbed on so you can focus on running. L3, hold R1 to sprint and keep pressing L3 every few seconds to keep running in the correct direction.I just started day 2, so it's definitely doable.

Crazy Party Error?

Tonight my friend and I tried to connect to the public server to play CP, and got the following error:0 servers found, from which 0 are compatible with your versionSeems like there was an error while retrieving the servers list.Found no servers that are compatible with your version.Beta 73 is the latest version, and last night we were not getting this error.  Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and got the same error.  What in the world?  Anyone got any suggestions for a fix?JLove

the fighting sounds are in stereo, so it's easy to determen where you are and your enemy in the playing field.and there is also accessibility mode that you can turn on, it will give you an extra sounds if there is an interactable object nearby.

The game is terribly racist! I mean, you fight Romans, Spaniards, Greeks, Vikings, amazon warriors, American Indians, some sort of Chinese or Japanese opponent, (even though goodness knows what they're doing in ancient rome), not to mention several lions and tigers, and they're all terribly easy! I slaughtered all of them with little to no trouble after I upgraded my equipment! This is incredibly unfair! I demand that the game be made absolutely impossibel to beat, since all of these racial groups are being horribly under represented, especially those Romans! I mean, this is a game set in ancient Rome, and the Romans are portrayed as blood thirsty war mongers who just want to see all people die in their arena! After all, rome was an empire that spanned the hole globe and included so many races, surely it is possible for all of them to be equally impossibly difficult. of course, this would mean that a player died on the first opponent, who I believe is roman, and so never saw any of the other races represented in the game, but they'd be there, even if entirely invisible. Hmmm, would that be Representative or not? I don't know.How about we just agree that the game is a rather romanticised version of a nasty historical sport in which you get to murder lots of people, and the developers did their best to give you a colourful cast of opponents to fight against, using their racial backgrounds to make them diverse and/or in many places  historically inaccurate), even if mechanically they're pretty much just sets of random attack factors stuck together that have no baring on the flavour text used to describe them and all are equally slayable .I myself would be in favour of that option. Actually, in general at risk of setting off a flame war, I liked the flavour descriptions and the fact that, even though from a mechanical perspective all fights are pretty much the same, dodge, dodge, dodge until your opponent is tired, then attack as fast as you can, rinse and repeat, the developers tried to make the opponents interesting by giving them descriptions and origin stories, even if some of them (EG the American Indian and the Chinese/Japanese fighter), seem more than a little odd for ancient Rome .

@Mirage, there were some version updates in January, that was what prompted me to try the game again, since Mrs. Dark was going into radio therapy every day and I wanted stuff to play on my Iphone while I waited. The game worked fine at that point, I believe I was on Ios 13 at that stage, since I always tend to upgrade unless there is a specific reason not to.

I've never found a clone which was actually a good game, the only reason people play them is because of desperation and nostalgia.I get it, you miss being able to fight each other online, but even at their best they aren't worth much, full of overused sounds, level and item imbalance, lag, server crashes, bad admins and cheaters.DM/BC was the best I found, and it was still a mess even if it had cool ideas.  Besides, I hate pay to win mechanics.

Okay, I am officially a stupid head, I was running around wondering how exactly you use the virtual instrument when I had it all the time and all I needed to do was hit the keys, I'll add some words about it to the db page explanation.I like the idea of collectables for it, particularly since whilst it's nice to hear an a miner scale and the tone is relaxing, it would be nice to be able to hear it do other things. It might also be fun to have some tone matching exercises in there too, EG you come upon something and heed to match a specific tone. Btw, I checked your blog and was quite interested in your article about posting on this site and "what a game is."Since questions of definition are sort of like a red rag to a bull for a philosophy post graduate (I spent over a decade writing a thesis defining disability), I thought this was an interesting question. For me, one of the key aspects, if not "the!" key  aspect  to a game is simply be able to interact with, and have a significant effect upon the world in a progressive way rather than simply experience. After all "interactive fiction", is a game whilst "fiction", is well, fiction! and definitely not a game.I love exploration in games, just wandering around and seeing the game's world, I love the sense of freedom and space it gives me, but if I don't feel my exploring is changing either my character or the world in some way, my exploring feels more aimless. Same with quests, indeed often in rpg games i'll do lower level quests which are mechanically no use for my character (EG doing a higher level quest with a lower level character), just because I like the feeling of having participated in a story, helped someone out and had an afffect upon the game's world. Maybe this is just a personal thing, after all, I do tend to have a bit of a problem feeling powerless to effect the world in everyday life (most disabled people probably do to a lesser or greater extent, it's sort of implied in the word "disability", and the worse the attitudes of people around you, the worse this tends to be).Either way, I'm glad, for all the amazingly gorgeous landscapes and relaxing audios, that there are tasks, quests and challenges to do in the game, since in their own way, that in itself is relaxing. Hope some of this makes sense, and if anyone has any thoughts, feel free to chime in.

I can't think of that many Iphone games playable with someone in the room other than some of the blindfold titles, however there are several with online multiplayer. Lost cities would be my first recommendation, as an awesome, tactical card game with ability to start matches with people right across the world. Then there are game world and dice world, both of which let you play with other people, even  run tournaments.

Back in 2010-12 Mitch.nu, a developer of independent games released two titles, first Archaeist, and second to hell with johnny. Neither was accessible to blind gamers, however they were! accessible to pretty much everyone else. You could customise literally every element of gameplay, from visuals, to controls, to even individual enemies.In Archaeist for example, a scrolling shooter with strategic elements you could set the game's scrolling speed, how many lives you had, decide which enemies damaged you, how fast your bullets fired, whether the controls were three button, two button or one button, to what extent certain parts of the game with radiation damaged you etc. The game even had all in game text spoken. You could literally use the accessibility settings to make yourself completely invincible, with a super rapid firing gun Both games also had ranks, achievements, and even a set of scoreboards which freely admitted that yes, they counted accessibility settings, although there were both general scoreboards, and specific scoreboards that mirrored what accessibility settings you had (this meant, depending upon how you customised the game, you could literally have your own scoreboard to yourself, but the developers didn't care, and neither apparently did the players). I don't think anyone whatsoever actually complained at the fact that both games were pretty much built with cheat settings built in, most people on retroremakes were just dam impressed that the games were accessible to so many people, albeit that yes, it was sad that there wren't complete sound cues for all the in game objects. So, basically, last I checked, games were meant to be fun, the more people have fun with a game, the better, and it's not as if accessibility settings are being used to break some sort of local scoreboard convention.

People tend to remember bad things happening more often than good ones, so my suspicion is that Execution and Soul Ripper hit as often as they do only because you don't remember or care about the times that they miss. Unless, of course, there is a way to make a move display an accuracy that isn't real, or to have AI have a higher accuracy than you, but I...really doubt that's a thing, because that's slimy as hell.Pokémon has small accuracy penalties with things like Tackle as well, so that part makes a little sense. It also makes thematic sense. These are weak moves used by weak manamon who haven't come fully into their own yet. It would be lovely if they always hit, since they're also weak, but having some of them (read: not all of them) be 95 accuracy is okay with me.But yeah, I've discussed this to death. Accuracy is a problem with both of these games, always has been and probably always will be. I seriously wish I could get the go-ahead to make manamon 3, or be part of that development cycle in a serious way, because I feel like I'd not only have fun, but be able to do a good job with manamon design and balance, not to mention a story. I even have a good story cooking.

Sony is the first party, just as nintendo is, and naughty dog and Santa Monica studios are the second party devs for sony, just as hal lab and gamefreak are second party devs  for nintendo. It is entirely possible for second party studios to release games for other platforms, as demonstrated by hal lab's release of super mario bros for pc in the 80s, and game freak's release of small town hero on a platform other than the switch.

A job posting posted on LinkedIn by Naughty Dog signaled that The Last of Us: Part 2 could come to the PC.  It is noteworthy that Naughty Dog wants to experience experience in DirectX 12 and Vulcan architectures.  As a matter of fact, when the first game got so much attention, the eyes were turned into the sequel of the series.  Fortunately, developer firm Naughty Dog did not upset the fans of the series and announced the future of the second game. The source of these striking claims is a shared job posting on LinkedIn.  This announcement, created for new candidates to join the team of The Last of Us 2, draws attention with the competencies they want from applicants.  Including things like console or PC programming experience.  At this point, if Naughty Dog's search for a programmer who understands the operation of NVIDIA GPUs is strengthening the claims, the company is known for developing games for PlayStation.  Nevertheless, this event, according to many different sources, signals that The Last of Us: Part 2 will come to the PC.  It is not known whether the game will actually be released on the PC, but in case of any improvement, we will continue to inform you.

We have made very clear that games using this source code are not permitted; yes, this includes multi-generational forks, and that should be obvious.Since this is Mikes0916's third warning, he has earned himself a three-month ban. It has also been noted that if he turns out to definitively be Urh2006, the ban will be upgraded to be permanent.From the same thread, Gaki_shonen has a warning for personal attacks. Gaki_shonen, here's why playing clones is bad.I hope you can agree that unauthorized forks aren't cool. They're someone using source code they shouldn't have, and either claiming it as their own or just piggy-backing off the success and hard work of someone else. It's especially bad if the clone or unauthorized fork is trying to make money, but it's not great either way. So, even the act of creating and maintaining a game like this isn't cool.When you play such a game, you are telling that developer that you tacitly support what they're doing. If only one person ever did it, then you wouldn't have much of a game obviously, but for every person who does it, for every person who says "oh well, I'm not really hurting anyone", what you're actually doing is encouraging that dev, or others who like clones, to continue the cycle.As such, if you play clones, you are part of the problem. Without players, these games would die, and motivation to re-release them over and over would also die. You're encouraging devs to keep cloning. Obviously you aren't forcing them to make the choice, but you're showing them that there's maybe some sort of future in it.These clones and unauthorized forks are the sort of thing that makes us as a community look awful, which is why we have a blanket ban on them here. Can you seriously not find some other game to play which doesn't encourage people to hurt others? That's what I want you to think about.

Their games are pretty badly balanced though, so the fact that the Turkish warrior was a bit weak isn't a  jab at Turkish people, but just a bit of unbalanced game mechanics.Also with the SEH trophy... Ok, so here is how it works.Every standalone grunt  is right.One chirp followrd by a grunt is up. Two chirps is left. Three chirps is down. If you get a command other than right, you will sometimes have to do a clockwise command sequence until you finish on right. Example: two chirps, grunt, left, brunt, up, vrunt, right. But this happens only sometimes, so you will have to pay attention to the sound to know. Often, a musical sequence will end with down. And that's how you do the bacteria stage.These instructions are also applicable with rhythm heaven megamix's bacteria stage, but the grunts are more pronounced there.

@jack, that's another reason, as you say, the games from this company... not the best when it comes to balancing lol. As I said in my earlier post, if they wanted to be racist, they would've done so; easily. And all there other games would've been racist as well.

You don't need the quotes around the name of your room. Inform outputs to the Glulx format by default, and stores files in the Inform\Projects\name_of_the_project.materials\Release. It's possible to change the output to a .z8 file under the settings tab in the Inform editor. If you add the line release along with an interpreter, the program will generate a website that would allow players to simply visit the site and begin playing without the need to download an interpreter.

Your making a mountain out of a molehill, and besides, honestly? There is absolutely nothing you can do in this case, except not play the game again.  Racism, as defined by the dictionary is: The belief in the superiority of one race over another. That is racism as defined by the dictionary. This game is not racist, here is just one reason why, though I could give more. Fight with said Turkish opponent again with the lowest set of weapons, see if it takes more than seconds... It will.  You are the first person I see here I see complaining about this, but to each his own. I'm to say the least, shocked though. Its just a game, nothing more. And speaking of which. If, as you say, this game is racist, then, all the other games by this company would have to be racist as well. Is this the case? No.When  a game developer makes a game, they are not thinking, oh, I'll be racist towards so and so just because I can. If your this sensitive in a game, crying out racist for each miner infraction... a: you won't enjoy any game, or you're going to find it very hard to do so. b: life will be very, very hard for you if you are ticked off by the tiniest of things.

I also tried inform7, but have 2 questions.1. What format is this compiling? When i select release, it just creates some wierd file structures that look like html but an index is missing.2. I have this peace of code here."simtertest" by the simterson"simter's room" is a room.How ever if i run it and type things like "look me" or just "look" it just sais > and nothing more. Also there seams to be no way to exit a running game cause even if you press stop it stais in the game and the only way to exit is to restart the whole inform7.

Right, so the audiogames forum's *very small* cancel culture mob strikes again. Just for the record, those games already have their fair share of instability. I can honestly say that while Blind Gladiator was probably one of their most stable games out of all I've purchased, all my opponents went down in a blaze of glory the same day I bought the game. So the 10 second fight could've easily been an imbalance. I can bet you a hundred bucks it was not racially motivated. This is made out to be as much of an issue as the Super Egg Hunt trophy brouhaha was.
