I frequently visit an atheist blog, and some of the comments are threats to the author like you are going to hell because youve created this blog and so on. In 56 posts so far, none of this has happened, and this is quite impressive for me.Thank you asault_freak. This is a really interesting page. I am almost sure I wont change my atheist views with it, but its a really comprehensive list of contradictions answered by christians, which is really useful, to discover both the good and bad points made by them, and by the people who raise them, of course.Thanks also to Thunderfist799. I was looking for some evidence that supported the claim of muslims that Alla is the only God, but this also helps. You see, each religion has its own History, predictions, miracles and superstitions. To summarise my position: I dont consider everything false, but those predictions may be some kind of coincidence (sorry for the blasphemy). However I dismiss the main fact, that that is the word of God, mainly because of all the attrocities in these holly books, and also because of the contradictions and translation errors in them. Here I am most familiar with the Christian god, but this may aply also to other gods.According to Christians, god is immutable, omniscient, all justice, omnipotent and omnipresent. Do we agree so far?Good. Now, please, take a look at the bible itself. Even at Genesis 1 and 2.In Genesis 2, God says to Adam that if he eats the fruit of good and evil, hell die that day. Guess what, he eats it and he doesnt die. Huh? Isnt this... strange? God, being all just forgives Adam (well, in some way), but changes his mind. Immutablity out. Thus, God is not perfect. Plus, the Bible has got a lot of contradictions and atrocities (this is just one of them). And the world is full of atrocities and God, if it exists, doesnt intervene.So, I may come to some conclusions: God doesnt exist, or he is a really evil guy, or he doesnt care about us, or he cares just about some of us. Re: a question about blind friendly linux distributions Hi,I use ubuntu Gnome in a VM. Quite accessible, but scary, since in the desktop ORCA stops talking wtill you press some keystroke. I have had no experience with Linux and havent experimented with it recently, but its a recommendation anyway. Dont use the regular Ubuntu, it doesnt go as well as Ubuntu Gnome. Im limiting myself to the Ubuntu distribution, because I decided to start from there, no idea how the rest work.
