It is going to get into, not quite technical, but possible theories.From an audio standpoint, it sounds like file 2 is playing the note at the same pitch. From a technical standpoint though, pianos and timpanis have different octave levels, so file 1 could also be, technically, correct. To me, file 1 is playing the exact note value from a midi data point of view, whilst file 2, from an audio standpoint, is playing what sounds like the same note. Naturally, for this to work, the piano is played at a higher octave than the timpani.However, what is interesting though, is what would define the "same" note. A person might either be looking for the sound of a note, or, the register of the instrument. As it stands, for a timpani to play a piano equivallent of a middle c, (not a lower c as this file emplies), the middle c would be at a timpani's higher limit. Actually, I don't even know if a timpani can even reach a middle C, truth be told, which would explain why these two files are using lower versions of C. We're in very strange times, and it seems I was right on the money, I did not want to hound Jayde or for that matter, anyone. I will admit, the long silence did frustrate me and we still have a few things we're working on. I have been more active, checking the Discord when I can and not just relying on push notifications. But if I knew, for instance, that Jayde wasn't coming back for a while, I would have tried to get, for instance, the assets thing sorted and then catch Jayde up later. I think yesterday there was a lot of activity whilst I was away watching television. I've been very much aware of the silence, I thought enough is enough and wanted answers myself, months of silence from some people, as a result this week, I have been much more active on the Discord trying to bring it back, and it's happening but it is slower than it was before. I'm always considering the time we're in as well as life can be all over the place for everyone at the moment.For my part, as soon as people said they were having Discord issues a few weeks back, I was not sure what to do. Marvel Studios new series WondaVision discussion Hi,WondaVision is going to be the series that will kick off phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.I've seen the first two episodes on DisneyPlus. The series has audio description.Keep in mind, at least for the moment it is a different kind of series. We are definitely in it for the long hall.As for what this is, well... I don't exactly know how to describe it. For the most part, believe it or not, a sitcom, retro, on purpose. The audio presentation is really good. When I say retro I really mean it, I don't want to say everything though. I laughed a lot more than I was expecting. It's cheasey but there is also, definitely, something wrong. To me, the best way I can explain this is, you need to think of this series like giant jenga. Jenga is a physical game with a tower that you start building. But as you add to it, it gets unstable and it's only a matter of time before some sort of action is going to knock it down. Well, this series feels like that, completely on purpose. There are layers that are there, you think you know what they are... but there's... cracks that are showing, and it's only a matter of time before the tower is going to fall and who knows what it is going to reveal fully when it does. From the virus that's still out there, to what might be happening to agnet (I hope we come up with something fair and it's not too rough), to the potential of accessibility of console gaming in the future, although that might not be until 2022 maybe as more mainstream devs get wind. But who knows, maybe 2021 will have some surprises, it always does, on every front! Mobile, console, inde games on PC, maybe some new devs, maybe some existing devs in our community coming out with stuff, I know oriol's been on a role with his mobile releases these past few months, we finally have the legacy of Torrent in the form of Onslaught, we've had the extremely impressie Shift Baptic with his synthesizing engine in stuff like Sound Strider, we've had Slay The spire getting an accessibility mod... we've had Untold on iOS... and finally we've had fellow forumight discovering some roguelikes and rpg-type experienecs. Choice of Games and Hosted Games are still coming up with stuff too. Not to mention, The Last of Us 2 being the precursor to Sony revealing a screen reader on their PS5 which just gets me excited.Now for those wondering how I feel about the whole thing regarding this website, yes we're going back to this a sec: the truth is, I, genuinely, do trust the staff, and I think recently they regained their trust in me. I am going to be communicating a lot more clearer this year and if I reference anything to them, I will be explaining what I know about said thing, and not just referencing it. You made me laugh so much because, earlier today, someone said there was a mouse in their class room, of course, not too significant... until 20 minutes later I'm on the audiogames forum and spot a link... click it... and... that song starts playing. Well, not only do I have very fond memories of that song as it was actually on an arcade machine, but I was singing along and then I just burst out laughing, for a good five minutes. I then went on the Smule karaoke app and found a version, which just made me laugh even more because of the fact that they have it. Unfortunately, that version had a vocal track and slightly different lyrics, but I still tried it. HOwever, to add to the annoying side, after all that, learning a new version on the fly... turns out I was searching the wrong title! Old Amsterdam brought up the correct version, so I think I shall be giving that a sing and yes, I will activate the group collaboration mode which will keep it open for 14 days for people to join.Now, for my contribution. Think I've found a bug in latest Discord Canary Hi all,I am not sure where to report this, but there seems to be a bug where, even with the latest NVDA, and the latest Discord Canary, if I right click Discord's system tray icon,the context menu does not read. It simply says menu submenu, with up and down arrows doing nothing, and even the navigator object not working, with the title bar just saying discordcanary and no spaces. I unfortunately can't pinpoint when this first started, as I haven't been to the context menu for a little while, but I do know that a month ago this feature worked perfectly. strange dropbox issue with a submenu Hi all,I am experiencing something very odd indeed. If I press enter, I can go to the dropbox menu. Every submenu within this menu, works, including snooze notifications. However, I can not, for the life of me, seem to enter the "recently changed files submenu". I've tried pressing enter on it, I've tried routing and clicking it, and I've tried the right arrow. But the submenu just isn't opening. I have even restarted the program. I am using Dropbox 100.4.409.Does anyone have a work around, or is there a way to report this issue? The recently changed files submenu is the only one not working.
