(easy) Alt I then v, select your instrument and it's created a new track with it on.2. (manually) Create a track or use an existing one. Applications key, cycle through input choices until you see midi input, go to all divices, all channels then arm the track then F to access the effects, and find an instrument to be on it. If record monitoring is not on, enable it with F8.N.B. this will already be done regarding record monitor with using the first method. I used Reaper to do all the effects and record the sound they were applied to. I then rendered that out, with more of a tail than I thought I would need, brought it into Goldwave, trimmed it, and put a fade in on the start so it wasn't so harsh.
