Gilded Phrases for Vocalizer Expressive voices
Gilded Phrases for Vocalizer Expressive voices Hello everyone,As many of you may know, some of the newest Loquendo voices had what they called "gilded phrases", which were basically audio files with various sentences spoken with emotion, as well as sound effects like laughter. Some of the Vocalizer Expressive voices are Loquendo voices that Nuance bought and improved. Some of the Vocalizer Expressive voices from Harpo or Code Factory have gilded phrases, for example Kate, Susan and Allison. However, no source seems to have the gilded Phrases for Veena, the indian english voice. I know they exist, because there was an old demo available on the Nuance website, that I can't find anymore.Does anyone have any idea if these files still exist and if so, where?I'm not asking for cracks, or anything of that sort, I'm just wondering if there still exists a version of Veena, and perhaps some other Nuance/Loquendo voices, with gilded phrases. Some SAPI 4 voices not showing up in NVDA and Balabolka
Some SAPI 4 voices not showing up in NVDA and Balabolka Hello everyone.I usually have many diffrent text-to-speech voices installed on my computer to play with. Recently, I discovered that some SAPI 4 voices weren't visible in Balabolka and NVDA. This includes the British English L voices (lhttseng.exe). I tried uninstalling all of the SAPI 4 voices on the system and then installing the L British voices. After that, I chose SAPI 4 in the NVDA settings, but it threw an error. I haven't tried the same thing with Balabolka. I'm considdering resetting my pc and trying again, but I would prefer not to do that. Does anyone know why this is happening? QWS not playing midi file correctly
QWS not playing midi file correctly I am having a strange problem with QWS. I load this midi file with a few tracks in it. Since it's from a video game, there's a soundfont that can play it correctly, so I use VirtualMIDISynth from CoolSoft. It sounds like the wrong patches are being used for each track, so I choose the first one and go into properties. If I arrow through the patches and then choose the patch it was set to again, it plays fine. However, if I press home and play it from the beginning it goes back to playing it using the wrong instruments. I have tried disabling midi clock but that does nothing. I know there are some system exclusive messages at the beginning of the file, so that might be the issue. Can anybody help? Re: How Harry Potter Could Have Defeated Voldemort, After the intire story
Re: How Harry Potter Could Have Defeated Voldemort, After the intire story The trick is to think of a spell that goes through all of the protective spells he has already cast. For example, the protego incantation only rebounds simple spells and flashes that are designed to do him physical harm or bind him. There are more kinds of defensive spells, one of them probably against spells like obliviate. The thing is, all of these spells are, as mentioned before, used generally against an opponent, so we can be sure that Voldemort has figured out defenses for all of them, except avada kedavra, but Voldemort would simply jump aside, because he would here the words and see the green flash of light. So, let's cast a relatively simple spell, without words, that doesn't make as much noise or flashes as the fighting spells normally do. I have come up with a simple solution. In Half-Blood Prince, we see Dumbledore move Harry's trunk to the Weasleys' home, without words, with no flash of light mentioned in the book. We simply use that spell to move Voldemort's brain or heart outside his body. With all the horcruxes destroyed, Voldemort couldn't possibly survive, as he would only see Harry's wand flicking, because Harry's eyes would be fixed on the exact target, but not on Voldemort's eyes, so legilimency couldn't help Voldemort. Smart, isn't it? Re: The most real 3-D binaural surroundsound you have ever heard from. There is a vst called Panagement. It sounds quite realistic. Just YouTube it. It has many extra features. Re: who is your favorite tex to speech voice? For screen readers, eSpeak and Eloquence are the only once. They can both speak very fast and eSpeak can speak Icelandic, which is my native language. However, for fun, I really like Microsoft Sam, Mike, Mary, especially Sam, Anna and all the other voices, L Truvoice, Mac Alex, Vocalizer voices (these are one of the most natural once), NeoSpeech (some incredibly good voices there, including Julie, one of the most natural text to speech voices today), Ivona, L Michael and Michelle, Softvoice, Orpheus and a few others.Whoever was talking about Vocalizer Daniel not being good, have you tried making him say something rude or violant or using him for playing Psycho Strike? Re: Accessible Autotune program
Re: Accessible Autotune program There are severl solutions. One is, as post 2 pointed out, ReaTune. It works fine for automatic pitch correction, although your voice won't sound completely flat using it. The manual correction tab is not accessible however. The by far best solution is Melodyne. If you use an NVDA add-on called SIBIAC, you ccan tune your vocals manually and make them sound completely flat and robotic, as well as adding drift, vibrato and changing the amplitude, if that is your thing.Another plugin is Kerovee, from G200. The parameters are accessible, but there are some side effects, including some bad-sounding s sounds.Another plugin is GSnap, it works ok, but ReaTune is better in my opinion.Lastly, there is Antares Autotune. The parameters for the plugin are accessible, but not the manual mode. It is better than ReaTune, it has throat length and various other things to adjust. You can also control what notes it tunes your vocals to with your keyboard, if you find the unaccessible unlabeled graphic with the JAWS cursor.Once again, Melodyne is the best in my opinion.Best regardsT-m URL: https://forum.audiogames.net/post/410104/#p410104 -- Audiogames-reflector mailing list Audiogames-reflector@sabahattin-gucukoglu.com https://sabahattin-gucukoglu.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/audiogames-reflector

The making of tts skids
The making of tts skids Hi everyone.I'm considering making a few tts skids, since I like them alot, but I have a few questions.Firstly, how are they made? Is each and every sentence exported from Balabolka or a simular program as a seporate wave file and then the files edited together or is there any kind of scripting language that can change between SAPI5 and SAPI4 voices?Secondly, what things do you all like having in tts skids? For instance, should there just be voices like Sam reading errors or should something be happening like in The Troublesome Voices and War of the Ideots? I kinda like the later one, since I like a lot of sound effects and things going on, but tell me your opinion. If there's some kind of a story line like in War of the Ideots, should the voices have human parts like heads, hands and stuff or should they just be voices? Finally, I suck at using Mac OS, but I still wanna use voices like Alex, Fred and so on. Can anyone tell me where to find good tutorials that can get me started so I can use something like Babble or something to create audio files out of the speech and take them to Windows?Best regardsT-m URL: https://forum.audiogames.net/post/408726/#p408726 -- Audiogames-reflector mailing list Audiogames-reflector@sabahattin-gucukoglu.com https://sabahattin-gucukoglu.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/audiogames-reflector

Re: How accurate are espeaks languages and dialects?
Re: How accurate are espeaks languages and dialects? It really depends on the language and how much work has been done.Yep, the american english doesn't sound quite accurate. However, it's funny. The british english sounds great and some people are using other languages. Some languages have had little or no work where the guy talked to a native speaker. A good example of this is Icelandic, my native language. It has had some work, but it still sounds quite funny. However, I use it. It also depends on how good you are at understanding speech synthesizers. I, for example, am quite good at it and so I can use Icelandic eSpeak with the speech rate cranked up to 90% (99 in the newest nvda versions). SOme people find eSpeak very hard to understand. I personally love it and think it is one of the best synthesizers in the world for good speech rate and responsiveness. After that however, you can install whatever plugin that works with SIBIAC and it will work.Example:You install SIBIAC, then the OCR, and then Adictive Keys. You try it, and it doesn't work.
