For me, sometimes simple is ok. I started out with Small RPG and am actually enjoying it so far. I like it because like someone said above, its something you can play for 5 minutes or 30 and still make progress. Some of the translation is a bit iffy in that the equipment descriptions are sometimes hard to figure out in that which sword is better, the one with a plus symbol or # symbol etc? I also love when you reach the evil king, the description says something like evil king, he has come to you because he was tired of waiting! Considering that it is free though, it is quite well done and I feel like after finishing it, I am better equipped for pocket dungeon. It also reminds me of some of the dungeon crawlers from the 80s/90s that I played with sighted friends, better late than never that I can play such a thing on my own with out the hastle of using a virtual cursor or memorizing what this or that ascii character

It has no exploration text. Absolutely none. Theres a bit of text at the beginning, but thats it. Otherwise its just advancing through battles with the ocasional treasure chest and magic springs for healing.The game is in english.Some things I forgot to mension. The beginning text does not go away easily for some reason, not sure why. But it overlaps some of the buttons, like the attack button. To get it off your screen, after youve started the game for the first time, close it and restart it and youll be fine.The game also has bosses every couple hundred levels or so, and you can customize your equipment with gems by equipping them in socketed equipment.URL: http://forum.audiogames.net/viewtopic.php?pid=168925#p168925

in response to another question some one had, you can select an ability by making it a default attack shortcut, and as far as Im aware, whenever you hit attack, itll use that ability until youre out of mp, after which point itll just attack with the equipped weapon.I just wish the skiills wernt so numerical, as mostly Im just going by the skill name to figure out what it does.URL: http://forum.audiogames.net/viewtopic.php?pid=168967#p168967

Figuring out what a skill does isnt too hard. It shows the formula first, but then it shows you directly what the skill adds for passive skills. Like magic shield, when activated, converts physical damage to magical so if youre a mage, you dont take as much damage.As for activating them, it tells you that too. If it says attack skill, its activated when you attack. If it says magic, its activated when you use magic. Attack/Magic means it uses both. Things like magic shield have a success rate that it shows you at the end of the statistics display. Yes.However, there are skills I cant figure out how to activate. For example, all out defense in the knight skill group. It says it costs 1 MP and reduces physical damage by 15% plus your level. However, when in battle, I dont see my MP dropping at all while doing anything. I cant see the damage being done if its displayed anywhere so I cant even tell if theres a difference there, so not sure whats going on with that.URL: http://forum.audiogames.net/viewtopic.php?pid=168980#p168980
