Hi.This list could be aproved for sure. I don't get how those people even can make this list, without being active here on the forum to keep up with the latest news. Seems weird... I don't like that they include websites which hasn't been updated for very long time. Just my opinion.

@Ishen, that's simply becaus blind gladiator came out so recently. They did the survey for the top 10 list in may, as it says on their page, so no games bought out after may such as Aprone's blazy (or I believe preludimals), or Blind gladiator will be noted. I did mention Sam when I was giving them some feedback as a developer to check, but what ultimately gets included is up to them, another reason why it's so nice they voted us as number 1.Next year apparently they're going to include mobile stuff and maybe online games too, so we'll see what happens then.

Re: 7-128 Software - Top 25 Sites for Gamers who are Blind - 2016

I did actually let them know about several new game releases, including Oriol's. I think though part of their criteria for the list is based on how many games are hosted along with links to informational websites about games, not just what is produced, hence why they rank Thom's site as they do, not for his own creations but for his hosting of pb games and other titles. They have said next year they plan on changing ranking a little including Ios stuff, and possibly multiplayer games too, so we'll see. As to why they include themselves though, actually they're games aren't for children, a lot of their mysteries are rather fun, but as I said their ranks are  also based on the information they provide about! accessible games as well as the actual games themselves. Either way,  I'm really glad we wound up number one on the list, though amusingly enough there are now 555 games in the db .

hi yup they haven't change anything as for the ranking. draconous haven't release since 2013 or 12 and still they are in the top ten. They have to be more careful to put the ranking. BTW its great to see that audiogames.net is still number one. thanksIshan

I don't know why they persist in ignoring multiplayer/net  games for their main ranking.Well, a few years ago, when it wasn't so popular, OK, but now... playroom is up since 5 years, RSGames too, Blind Adrenaline is on the place since longer then that, and Allinplay seem to be almost dead.Since the time, they should have made a second ranking. As some of you already said, it seems to be almost the same each year, without major evolution.I'm still happy to see the playroom cited though.Anything else I'm curious about: for the playroom, they say this :508 Compliance: Image elements have no ALT. Input form does not allow assistive technology access.I don't know what could have led to that conclusion. There are no images at all, and of course fortunately that forms are accessible to screen readers...

Aprone,You are correct. I counted 13 games on your site.Plus you have a long list of little programs to do handy things. If new games released in the last year counted more, I'd be way down on the list with 0 games released.

Re: 7-128 Software - Top 25 Sites for Gamers who are Blind - 2016

Hi.In addition I don't think some of the devs are talked about 7128 is for children, you shouldn't include yourself in a top list for any reason though.vipgameszone  has not updated for ages. And so have others.next we have the zone as far as I know a lot of badness went on there for ages, I am unsure if anyone uses it anymore or what its like now.Its good audiogames.net is number 1.I don't really believe the top games list is the true games list, its only targeting the core companies and a lot of those are gone or have moved and other things. The list seems like its the same every year with little change to it.Audyssey has not published for ages, it may not be relivant anymore who knows.Even when it was so much is coppied from other places.I realise getting all devs especially the smaller ones is hard but this list in fact the old audyssey mag was set for when the industry had a central core of companie
s, this is no longer the case. The core is largely gone and we have a decentralised network of devs from all over the place for the most part. Then we have asabat I am not sure where this rates in the community full stop.True its a  nother children's company for education, recognised by some blind organisations as games the blind should play and are only able to play I heard back ages ago. This does not sit well with me.I played some of their games and while good for education have little value for a full adult player. Its good jim and usa are even listed, usa only really released 1 buggy ish startrek game, and not much more.We will never know now.

That's a pretty good list. Though personally I would havve ranked some developers a bit higher up, case and point Oriol should probably be in the top 10 seeing he's still actively developing games, compared to Thomas who only really released 1 game and almost came out with a second before he sadly passed away. But in any case this is a very good resource if someone is just getting started and is looking for something to play.
