We used PC for faster testing and footage recording as its way easier to do it that way. You would also need a USB Sound Card and a stereo patch cable, and the Lightning to 3.5MM adapter if you had an iPhone 8 or newer, but these could be obtained for around $100/150 altogether. Unless you went crazy with the sound Card I suppose. There is also the more expensive route of getting a mixing board and an Audio Interface, but not necessary at all. So I'm very confused about all this talk of wires and white noise. At most, including the lightning adapter, Sound Card and patch cables, you would only have three wires but all connected to each other, so they wouldn't even be in the way unless you were having to use the tilt or turn features. You've of course already recorded the demos and launch day is Sunday, so this obviously doesn't apply to these but definitely things to keep in mind for future release demos.I do get Liam's point that by releasing it on iOS and Android, you can accept payments right away with little effort on your part, but this is also the case with PC. There is PayPal, Stripe, Venmo and others, each focusing on different aspects of managing and making payments. I know you can embed a PayPal form in a Webpage, so you probably can with some other services as well. We think however the game might give a "cheapish" vibe if we do a straight port. People usually have, understandably, pretty strong opinions about games that are mobile games first and desktop games second. We tried to do it with a phone but without a proper iPhone it really is pain in the butt to get mobile footage with correct audio. The setup we tried looked like a dystopian medical machine with all the wires and even then the amount of white noise was unbearable.
