Re: Difficulty Running WinPeX64

Well folks, I sure do appreciate all the help. @4, if you think that'll work, go ahead and upload it somewhere and I'll give it a try. @5, thanks, man. That's a pretty useful tip. Looking forward to getting all this resolved. Thanks again

Re: Difficulty Running WinPeX64

okay, rite I see what you mean. you know what? let me make it easier for you. if you willing to bare with me tilll tomorrow when i'm at work, that will be tuesday for me, i can upload windows10 PE64 bit for you. basically it wil be a package that I'll prepare for you. all you HAVE to do is to press enter on it, and BROWSE  to your desktop and extract it to a folder called WinPE. then open the folder and coppy all that stuff on to that flashdrive for you. then it wil boot like a charm! I know how hard it is to mes with roofice and stuff like that. this image is easy to use. and works for me across stick after stick after stick. just a friendly reminder, to disable secure boot on your pc. that always was a pain in my tail and I could never get the stick to work with out this option being disabled. sometimes it worked and sometimes not. so I always opted for it to be disabled. but you can try to boot with and with out it enabled.how ever. this image is garenteed to work, because i can reproduce it to boot on stick after stick after stick. hell I even have 3 sticks with the same thing, in cace I forget the one. this image. contains NVDA.with a host of other goodies on it.Take care, and hope this helps.and let me know if you do wish me to do this for you.

Re: Difficulty Running WinPeX64

Well, the file isn't an ISO. It's an executable. And i'm guessing that even if I did attempt to extract it, there would be security somewhere. The problem is that the program is set up to, when run, use rufus to then mount the Pre-Installation image to a location of your choosing. But yes, my computer does support booting from a USB stick. I've done it before.

Re: Difficulty Running WinPeX64

let me show you the easiest way. 1. make sure your bios is abselutely set up to boot from usb device. if sure. then go to step 2.format a USB stick with fat 32 format.4 gig or grater, is size of stick.step 3.extract the winPE X64.iso file.after you found that folder ware it extracted it to. go to step 4.step 4.coppy over. that stuff inside that folder exactly as it is. to the USB stick.step 5. let me know when u done with that.and we go from there.

Difficulty Running WinPeX64

Difficulty Running WinPeX64

Hello:Recently, due to some issues I've been having with a computer, I have had need to use the "Win10PEx64" program, which is an accessible pre-installation image of windows configured with NVDA and several other useful tools. I am attempting to mount this image onto a USB stick so that I can boot into it from the Bios of my laptop, but I am unable to. When I run the executable, absolutely nothing happens. I get no indication from my secondary laptop that I've pressed enter. I get no prompts to continue with rufus or anything like that. The only time I get any sort of response is after right clicking the file and selecting "Run as Administrator," then I'll get a dialog that says that the program is requesting my permission. Once I give it, nothing happens. There is no window from which to continue and no processes are shown in the task manager that might be that. Thinking I might simply have a corrupted version of "Win10PEx64," I redownloaded a fresh copy, only to have the exact same kind of thing happen.Has anyone experienced this issue before? If so, how did you solve/get around it? And if you have not, do you have any idea how I might proceed? Thank you
