Re: Final fantasy record keeper for IOS So, basically it plays like your average final fantasy game, with turn based combat. But it's a little more complicated as it's not simply take your turn then the enemy takes theirs, it's based on what's called an active timed battle (ATB for short), When your atb bar fills, you take your turn, and then it starts filling again. Statts like dex I believe increase the speed at which your bar fills up.The basic layout of the battle screen actually hasn't changed much since I last explained it. Their are only 2 differences. The first difference is a button up above your defend or attack, can't remember, that will use your roaming warrior. The other is the soulbreaks menu operates different if you have multiple soulbreaks at your disposal, so when you tap on the icon on the far bottom right hand side of your screen, if you have more then 1 soulbreak it will list them from right to left. So, when setting up your soulbreaks, the one you want to be in the far right slot you would want to be first on your list in the party equip screen. Then so on. You are allowed I believe 4 soulbreaks at a time.The third new thing is burst soulbreaks. Basically what they do is usually a decent amount of damage and/or a healing burst that may also do other things. After the use of that soulbreak it will grant haste and burst mode to the user of that soulbreak. After this you will be in burst mode, and your attack and defend buttons are replaced by 2 burst abilitys. Burst mode is a temperary buff though so it's usually a good idea to take full advantage of your burst abilitys when you get them.@orin I can't help you without knowing the screen your looking at, you can still equip and unequip items, but it is a bit more difficult. My advice would be to maybe try to find someone sighted and just have them help you with that portion, or maybe if some other person who maybe did figure out the tutorial could post that would be cool. I looked at the previous pages here when I was asking these same questions two years ago, and it looks different now. You don't get those links like party, world, etc anymore until after the tutorial is complete. Cid's lab just brings you immediately to the ready equipment screen, with no other options. I've got my knife and vest, but when the tutorial says to swap a piece out, I'm not sure what to do. Remove the vest and swap it with... what, for example? There's no inventory to go back to. I also got a thunder blade which is a piece of gear with a soulbreak. Just save up that mythrill and dont worry I used it on bosses too, sometimes thats the only way to do it. In the equipment screen their is a combo box below all the equipment, that you can get to with headings navigation on your router, double tap on the combo box and change your ff number or however you wanna sort the equipment and it will put that equipment at the top. The Reason why I tell you to do this is because your screen extends farther then voice over will let you go and so it makes a bunch of pieces of gear that you cant click on. These combo boxes are everywhere in the equipment and abilities, and even if you go to inventory their is a way to sort your items so you sell only low level stuff with the combo box that is at the top. The main issues are when trying to equip something, cause sometimes you have so much stuff that even sorting it doesnt help, but most of the time it will, same with setting abilities, that can be a pain too. But if for any reason you need to click on the stuff below the stuff you cant c lick on shut voice over off and slide your finger from a little above the home button towards the top of the screen, and this will move your screen up and you will be able to click on other items with voice over on. Oh, and combo boxes are also in party selection as well, for when your party roster gets so huge like mine and you cant click on all of those members. Im pretty sure it has something to do with project 64 or the n-rage plugin it self. Cause if I load the game in vba after stadium, I get the error message, but if I create a save state and then delete the battery file, load from the save state and resave, I can load the game with no error again. But I noticed that you really dont get crap if you just use your mythril 5 or 15 at a time. Remember that you may have to get mastery of the dungeons to unlock certain stuff but usually characters are a completion reward and not a mastery one.And if you cant find anymore dungeons to complete then either you missed some or something else, to tell which dungeons you can complete if you turn on voice over at the screen with the doors and flick through them, all the doors with stuff to complete in them will say N E W right by them. Re: Final fantasy record keeper for IOS Orin if your talking about the death screen sometimes it freezes another way around that is to close the app in the app switcher, reopen it, hit play, it will bring up a battle interrupted screen. Just hit cancel on that screen and it will take you back to the dungeon before the fight, then if you dont wanna try that fight anymore to exit the dungeon you need to turn voice over off, then press up at the top right hand corner of the screen where elite dungeons or your event dungeons button would be and it will open up camp, from their turn voicer over back on. Then their is a lot of flicking to the right, until you get to retreat, double tap on retreat and then it is self-explanitory from their. What this does is move the screen up. Then turn voice over back on and you should be able to select the dungeon. Second you never know which character will go first because final fantasy is built on an ATB bar system which means that your turns are determined on how fast that bar fills up. Characters with high speed will have their bars filled up quicker and chances are they will be the onces going first in the battle, but that isnt always the case. For example I unlocked wakka after a few ffx dungeons. Theres a certain sound for it, its kinda hard to describe. Audio ducking usually does ok with the music, but itll turn back up if the music starts a new loop when your listening to voice over. Just wait a couple seconds and then start again to fix that. When I first started I pretty much flew through all the dungeons they had, but since Ive played they added ffxiii, ffxii, ffviii, and ffix. Im wondering if that will help here as maybe Im not hitting attack when I think I am and am using a healing ability or something.Edit: I finished that battle. Now, Im trying to choose the FFV realm. When I first load the World screen, I can choose from four and seven. If I do that slide gesture using one finger left to right with VO off, I can then tap the middle of the screen or somewhere around there for ten, which Ive just completed my quest there. Now it wants me to go and complete Wind Shrine in V. I just cant find the realm though, even after doing that slide gesture to change the screen. Just be careful, since you can buy gems from that screen as well, Im guessing you can use gems to revive without having to do the dungeon over again. Re: Final fantasy record keeper for IOS Glad you figured out the death screen, sorry for not explaining it, you can also yuse ythril to revive too so be careful if you dont wanna use your mythril. And to change your party member gamer you just go to the switch party screen and first tap the member you want then go down to your party below by flicking right with voice over on and tap on the character you wanna change with. to figure out the order all you have to do is put a character in, go to equipment go to ready equipment then flick right past the first set of cash images and click on the very first one in the second set that will bring up 5 cash images which is each one of your party members, simply click on the party member you just added and it will tell you who they are and what they can do.yeah most likely you guys wont be able to beat the last bosses until you have a team of level 50s, that reminds me I will mention it now, their are elite dungeons you can do, and how you access them is from th e screen of any of the ffs shut voice over off and press on the top right hand corner of the screen.Orin your probably swiping to much, sometimes it just takes a quick gesture, and if you swipe from right to left it raises the ff numbers, if you go from left to right it lowers them, know that strange. if you get the wrong one with VO still off press where the attack button would be and it will take you back and keep you on the world you just selected so you dont start back at the first door. Re: Final fantasy record keeper for IOS Ah, I am sorry I didnt explain how to do that, just shut voice over off and slide up from the bottom of the screen like you would do for relics, it will move the dungeons screen up and then you can turn voice over on and select the dungeons it wouldnt let you select before. With ffvi and ffiv you will find you will be using that slide trick a lot, so you will have plenty of time to get the hang of it.Oh and just so you guys know SE did have a hand in the game, but the developer is another company. And honestly really its not as difficult as I make it seem Im just not very good at explaining how I do stuff sometimes, but I have like tons of high level characters and 82 stamina so I think the game is quite playable with some patience.
