@Lirin campaign is currently not really too playable. However, Hord mode will be doable, as there is fabricator ping. Saying that though, there's no guide on it. I will be able to find out more information tonight or tomorrow. In the meantime, the go to guy would be SightlessKombat, and as of a matter of fact, I've just informed him about the topic.

Campaign, unfortunately, isn't accessible.  Though if you have sighted co-op partners, it might be doable (I've not played enough of the mode to know for certain).However, the menus are pretty much all fully narrated, other than a few kinks that have yet to be worked out (which can hopefully be resolved in future patches).  As for Horde, target lock (something akin to auto-aim) does exist and has served me well in the time I've put into Horde.  Fab Ping works slightly differently to Gears 4, but even with the slower ping speed when held down, this isn't as much of an issue when you just press and release tac com to figure out where you're meant to be going periodically.You'd need to set your console to US location and set "let games read to me" to on under settings>ease of access>game transcription, but once done the menus/UI should read without issue.Horde is the only really accessible part of the game so far as a solo gamer without sight, but hopefully this can improve in the future.

If you want to play it on Xbox right now just change your location to Australia. it will still work no matter your location as the narrator is built into the game. Haven't played the franchise for a while so it was a bit confusing as there is so much sounds in the game it can be overwhelming. And was very surprised and interested in how much of the menu was narrated accessible

@4My only word of warning then: Make sure you're not using an NVidia card.  I tried Gears Of War 4 on two separate machines running them and they both crashed mid-game.

Considering Nvidia has the majority of the GPU market, I think it's extremely unlikely they would release the game in a state where it'd crash on some Nvidia GPU's.All that being said, there are some really exciting times ahead... I'll definitely be having a closer look at this game

@Sightless: Interesting how accurately it is playable. By saying that I mean exploring the maps and aiming. I'm that type who is playing something, if I can surely say I can do everything on my own without too much random stuff if you know what I mean.

Hi,@Lirin when we say playable in this case, it's pretty much because the enemies come to us for the most part. Actually looking at the map is not possible, but moving around it is, but again, you might not necessarily know where you are. It's more about moving around geomitary, finding that fabricator which can be done with the ping, and some maps have sounds, but hord is more of a battle enemies rather than exploring maps kind of a thing. It is a bit of a hard thing to try to explain.I get the feeling though, that things are just going to get better and better from here. Heck, who knows what they might add in content updates, and by Gears 7 I think we could be in for something huge.

So I got the game through game pass, but I have no clew how to play. I'm mainly a fighting games guy.Also, are you able to customize a map so that you can practice solo? Kinda like COD where you can do solo missions to get used to the game and such.

I've only put a couple hours gameplay into it so far. I like the idea and it's fun, after the first few rounds things get pretty chaotic and it's often difficult to figure out what you're supposed to be shooting at over the guns of your team. I seriously wish there was a way to speed up narrator speech for games and such though, particularly if you want to quickly buy something from the fabricator in a pinch. That being said, I honestly had to stop for a few seconds and appreciate that we're even at a point where I can at least navigate the majority of menus in a triple A game. Excited to see the potential.

I think you only get use of the latter on beginner difficulty. Trust me, the games insane enough as it is.As you're walking around, hit LB periodically to keep track of the fabricator. The higher pitch the beep, the closer you are to it. Beep is also directional.I typically hold X as I'm walking around in case of ammo and weapon drops. Unfortunately none of these seem to make sound. Not sure if you need to do the same to pick up all the power on ground too.If you're walking around and can't seem to get far, you're either at a wall or some sort of ledge. If it's the latter, hit A to jump. I'm not sure if you stop in front of ledges? You definitely do for walls. When it doubt hit B which is your melee attack. If you're in front of a wall, you'll hear it. Also your controller won't vibrate if you're hitting a wall.I think holding A adjust something to do with your cover, so dunno too much about that right now.I feel like I'm missing stuff, but it's far too early to be engaging in much cognitive activity. Yeah, can confirm the campaign is painful to play alone blind. A lot of special fights requires timing and aiming at something specific in the environment to harm a boss. The matriarch fight comes to mind, and that's hard when one can see.

@22When going into Horde mode you want to go right to Custom game, then once you're in there, you can select "host custom game" to then play alone or with friends/people you want to play with.  Best of luck.@231. Default controls are as follows:Left stick: Move Character forwards/backwards/left/right.Right stick: aim your gun/look around (they're one and the same).A: selects options/items in the fabricator menu/roles when pressed once, if held will roadie run/sprint forward, will also vault over cover if you press left stick forward and hit A whilst on cover that you can mantle over.Left stick +a: will role in that direction if a is pressed whilst holding a direction on the stick, pressing stick forward and holding a will run forward, holding stick back and holding A will turn you 180 degrees and run forward in your new direction if held long enoughx: picks up/interacts with items including guns/weapons, ammo and the fabricator as well as reviving down but not out (DBNO)  teammates.  The radius within which you can pick up a DBNO teammate isn't clear through audio, though in time you'll learn to adjust to it.  X must be held down over the squad member for this to work if you're certain you're on the right spot.Right Trigger (RT): fires your gun/weapon/uses ground slam on the breaker mace.Left trigger (LT): aim down sights, useful for marking enemies with a press in of the left stick whilst holding LT.Y: uses ultimate ability, when held allows you to buy/upgrade perks between Horde waves with enough power.B: Melee attack, usually with a knife, but will sometimes be a kick or similar action..Right Bumper: Reload, press once to start the active reload and with trial and error you'll learn when to press a second time to get the fastest reload which can be of great benefit in a firefight.Left bumper: Tac Com, used to locate objects whilst held (visually) save for the Fabricator which will also emit a ping in Horde if you've turned that on2. In my personal opinion, you do not want to use single stick navigation as this doesn't not allow you to turn and aim separately from what I understand it, potentially severely limiting your effectiveness.3. Personally, I'd recommend Forge, as there's a relatively straight line between where you spawn and the fabricator, making it easy to find and start the match.  If you then die, you spawn in a good line of sight for most of the enemies for the first few waves at least.4. Lock all slots that aren't you just to be sure, but make sure you have "fill with bots" turned on in the options for the lobby.Good luck, as I said to the previous post I replied to.
