Re: How to install Materia Magica Sound packs? @Abdullah, If your still in the newbie area of Lasler village finding the marks and quests is fairly easy, although back when I played it was very hard to complete everything before you levelled yourself out of lasler and got kicked out.It's when however I got to rune forest and then the city that finding marks before I levelled too high for them, and doing the quests which at that point had a time limit that things became a major problem. That was however as I said, quite some years ago and I know a lot of work and balancing has happened in the game sinse then. First, you need the full version of Vipmud, sinse materiamagica uses Msp (mud sound protocol), which is one of the very few things which is restricted in the free Vipmud. Then, bang all the sounds in the sound folder in your vipmud directory, then make sure the option in Mm to use sound is set on (I believe it's setsound on but I'm not %100 certain as it's been quite some time sinse I played the game). Hth.Btw, I'd be interested to know how you find mm. I originally got a little narked with the marks system making it so hard to find marks, and the timed quests, but I know both of those things got fixed and several more elements like crystal quests got added as well as some access fixes. How to install Materia Magica Sound packs? Hi all,I'm using VIP Mud, and trying to install the sound packs for Materia Magica. I unzipped the files I downloaded, and there's just a bunch of sounds. I tried putting them in the sounds folder, and in the materia Magica folder. No sounds are playing though.Anyone have any ideas?Thanks.
