Re: Jenux OS -- News And Discussion Hub When I burn the iso, then check if there are file on the usb, the computer shoes me the 3 gb of free space while I know the usb is a 16 gb one; it doesn't show the file I just burned or flashed; there isn't an other partition in the usb drive; just these 3 free gbs. However I can boot the new jenux I've just flashed. When I insert the drive in a usb, the pc asks me to format the disk and shoes me that the entire drive is of 3 gbs. And it happens only with the jenux isos I try to flash, or burn, as you want to say. ahaha! I downloaded the latest Jenux ISO, burned it to a DVD, and booted into the disk drive, only to get an error code and the grub boot loader terminal. I talked to Daniel about this, and he does not have any issues booting into the disk drive. I even tried writing the ISO image to a USB flash drive in both ISO and DD Mode using Rufus, but to no avail. What the hell do I need to do to boot into the newest Jenux ISO without booting into the grub boot loader terminal? I desperately need help, please. Re: Jenux OS -- News And Discussion Hub Hello, the buzzer while installing jenux indicates an error validating downloaded packages, against either the checksums listed in the databases or gpg keys. between the prompt to erase disk and the software selection, do you get a prompt stating that /dev/sda3 contains an ext4 filesystem, asking you if you would like to proceed, with a y/n response? If so and you have only a non functioning install on that partition, select y to reformat the partition, clearing any remnants from any previous installs, particularly corrupted package caches. This should allow you to proceed with the rest of the install with little difficulty. Now that I know that you have selected to install the stable preset, I will look into your android installation issue and should have a fix for you soon. I will post when a possible fix is available. After I choose my desktop environment, I get this buzzer noise that repeats over and over again. I guess that means there is an error somewhere. When adding the cross archetecture support, I had accidently reversed a condition, which resulted in the grub.cfg file not being generated. Other steps in the post installation phase should not have been effected. As a result, you have several options to restore your system without a reinstall.1: run the postinstall segment again.
