Re: Kodi screen reader addon--Installing on OS X Hi.Kodi looks cool, sucks that its inaccessible out of the box.I found the screen reader add on, but have had some difficulty in getting it working right.Im using NVDA 2015.2 on windows.I see something in the change log, that says you need a different DLL for NVDA and this add on for Kodi to work.I downloaded Kodi, then the installer for the add on. The add on installer gave me a 404, saying it couldnt find the file needed. I looked at the folder it was trying to install the add on into.I then Downloaded the add on from his github (https://github.com/ruuk/service.xbmc.tts), and extracted that resulting repository folder (minus the branchname) into the directory the installer was trying to use.That folder turned out to be my home folder, app data, kodi, addons. After reopening kodi, nothing. Can anyone post a link, or instructions on how to get this working with NVDA? Re: Kodi screen reader addon--Installing on OS X It can certainly be done. it actually does work on the Mac if you install the screen reader add-on and the repository provided here.http://ruuk.github.io/service.xbmc.tts/#installerJust download both the service.xbmc.tts and ruuk.addon.repository files which is the link that says it is the Ruuka repository.Once you do that and have installed Kodi into your Applications folder by downloading the DMG file and copying the .app file fromhttp://www.kodi.tvbe sure to open Kodi first. Then, bring focus back to the Finder after quitting Koi. This will create the necessary directories before you continue.you can then press CMD-Shift-G from the Finder and enter ~/Library/Application Support/Kodi/Addons and press return.Then you simply paste every folder that was unzipped from the files you downloaded. Dont mess with the structure and think that you need to actually take anything thats inside the folders that appear after you unzip them. Just copy the folders into the path above, and you can start Kodi. The screen reader should come right up. Re: Kodi screen reader addon--Installing on OS X I know of a website that has the Kodi installer, but I didnt see an installer for Mac listed on there.http://ruuk.github.io/service.xbmc.tts/Ive also only tried one netflix addon called netflixbmc and there were quite a few things wrong with it.Search wouldnt work, nor did using different profiles.It would only let you use the default profile.Trying to access other profiles wouldnt work at all.So if theres another netflix addon that actually works and where to get it would be appreciated. I tried Spotimc, but when I type in my login details and hit login, nothing happens.Also, NetfliFC or whatever for Netflix is also quite bad. I copy the master Addon folder and the repo folders to the Kodi/addons folder. Kodi opens with an audible tone, then a beep, but doesnt speak. Whats up with that? Is the process different now?
