Re: Can anyone help me with SMC Fan Control for my mac? Hi.I agree. Dont mess with the fans unless you really needs to do so. I bought the program a while ago then I thought I was having fan issues. So I needed to test my fans to make sure they worked. Later on, I just used the program to see the temperture on my computer.Sorry I dont remember how to use the program, but something seems indeed to be messed up. I dont know if the app isnt supported in the latest version of Mavericks or whats wrong, but it also fails for some reason on my system. Ive done Bitcoin mining on this iMac and its a wonder the thing didnt melt with the fans running that high. Re: Can anyone help me with SMC Fan Control for my mac? Hi.Hmm, how do I use this?I installed the fan cooler thing and chose start fan from the menu extras but it didnt do anything. I am just trying to change the rpm of my fan.Second, I tried the other application and couldnt find it in the applications folder once installed. After looking around with spotlight, I discovered it was in system preferences.Once in System Preferences under that category, I am confused.
