You can check out This thread I made on vApps from VICT-Consultancy, if you'd like more indepth info, and download links.To make things easier, here is the direct link to the latest version of vMouse For NVDA.Once you have vMouse installed, and once you have SMG5 opened, press Alt-Win-f1, which switches you to navagation Keys, which turns the function keys in to the same keys NVDA uses on the num-pad or in laptop layout. Note, that it is a "toggle," switching from Navigation Keys, back to normal function key operations.You can switch to navigation keys also, by pressing ctrl-alt-win-m, to bring up the vMouse menu, then press N.Once turned on, f1 through f4 deal with reading lin es, chars, and words inside an object, f5 through f8 deal with navigating via objects, and f9 through f11 deal with routing and clicking. F12 by itself, simply puts the function keys back to the way they were, just like using Alt-Win-f1.For example, lets say you are on the main menu, and you want to click on an option. F7 takes you forward through the menu, F5 takes you back. While F6 reads what was just spoken. Ctrl-F6, if uisng the vMouse cursor, clicks on that option directly, without needing to root to it.Depending on the mode you have set via f4, f 1 through f3 will either read ya the Prev, Current, or Next line, word, or character. Ctrl-F2 and Shift-F2, cycle between the different NVDA review modes. Re: nvda and smugglers 5 doesnt work. Hi, it doesnt work.I downloaded the programm v mouse and tryed installing it. I think it worked, but the setup is not accessible to nvda. Than i started smugglers 5 and hit the combination witch was written in the post. But when i press f7 or another funktion key, nvda just says a letter and nothing else.What do i do wrong? Since I have the demo, I went and booted jaws so that I could close the demo screen and F7, which is navigate to next object, still does nothing. Greetings!What I found out, is its best to use screen review for this game.You are able to use the normal NVDA num-pad or laptop keys with vmouse as well, if that makes it easier.Make sure you are using the vmouse cursor, by pressing the minus key on the key pad, then use 7 and 9 to move through the options. Normally with the normal NVDA cursor, you have to root the mouse, then left click. So, Visually impaired mode, is in the game setings.Turn that on, for best support.SMG I believe all deal with space.Also, in screen review mode, if you have two options next to each other, such as buy full game and close this message, use keys 4 and 6 on num-pad if in desktop layout, to move review cursor to the right button, then do a left-click. If using vMouse nav keys instead, use f1 and f3 in line mode to find the line with those two options, then switch to words with F4 and use f1 and f3 to find the option ya want.
