Hi.at 2 ok thanks for the info, sounds good to me, have to get used to the strange DLC policy team ninja has for this game.at Assault lol well, I kinda expected that reply from you, and I don't mean that in a bad way.For me, fighting games are something to play when I'm angry at someone or something and i just want to go beat someone around the head for some time, so yeah, not beeing competitive or anything like that.I don't have the skill for that anyway because I'm not getting the basic details of how the mechanics work and how to analyse an AI oponent in attack patterns and the like.Are there good resources to learn those things or get a feel on what different mechanics are used? Yes, I know that MK has a 4 button system and street fighter uses 6 buttons, but yeah, that's as far as it goes for me there.Greetings Moritz. Another opinion here, I would say DOA is amusing, but the fighting system is definitely not its strongest selling point... especially as the characters, from what I played of it, don't have all that much personality. But I'm well known around this forum for having an unusually high standard, so I would take my opinion with a grain of salt. I would argue that its fighting system is pretty fair, in many ways similar to the virtua fighter series, where you have a button to punch, another to kick, and another to grab or counter. Dont be too put off by the eye candy, though it may not be as deep as something like sf or kof, it's far from being shallow. If you want my honest opinion though, the last main doa games being doa dimensions and doa 5 had better story modes. Still, 6 does have a story as disjointed as it may be, and there is a lot of single player content to work through if you dont want to go online, and every character, even dlc character has story content. Plus every game I mentioned has english voice acting and stereo combat.
