Re: I am a man who is not loved by love. @Nepali gamer, I had an incredibly similar experience when I was 18 as well, with a really nice girl, also a friend, which also left me feeling a great deal of pain.The one thing I'll say, is that if your attracted to people your friends with, that says a lot about you, it says your actually looking for love, I.E a real connection with someone, not just somebody you can jump into bed with. That says a lot about you. Carry on making friends, meeting people and being a decent guy and things will work out, not with the girl from your school, but with someone. The best advice I can give you is to let this phase run its course and move on. It's self-destructive to stay where you're at now. Yes, I know, you feel like you can't help it, but give it time. She is not, and cannot be the girl for you. Love needs to be between two people, you can't love someone who loves you back and be in a relationship with that person. You probably feel very strongly that you won't find another girl that you can love as much as the one who spurned you. You will though, it may take time, but you will.Why do you think so much of our forms of art and _expression_ center around love? Poetry, music, literature, etc. It's because love is the strongest emotion we can feel and it has the most impact in our lives. When it works between two people, when there is mutual love between them and they have chemistry, you can feel it in the air, you really can. That type of thing makes us feel the best we can feel (well, without taking drugs at any rate). But lost love, unrequited love, those things can bring us down to the depths of our worse despair. Love really is a rollercoaster ride. Time moves inexorably onward, but if you treat time as a partner accompanying you through life, rather than a villain, dragging you against your will, you'll see the wisdom in it. Time is the intangible entity who knows all while knowing nothing. But walking upright onward, away from this situation is the best course of action.
