Re: Marvel VS CapCom 3 and Street Fighter Help
Re: Marvel VS CapCom 3 and Street Fighter Help I couldn't agree more. I'm currently using a PS3 controller to play Ultra Street Fighter on my PC. I hate the 360 controllers for fighting games. And, Aaron, i did read somewhere that the Marvle VS Capcom games were being removed from the online stores. But, didn't really look in to it, because I don't play those games too often. Re: Marvel VS CapCom 3 and Street Fighter Help Hello,The marvel vs capcom games have been digitally removed from some of the Playstation stores. I know for definite this includes ultimate mvc3 and marvel vs capcom origins, but I don't know if they removed marvel vs capcom 2 or not. Re: Marvel VS CapCom 3 and Street Fighter Help Depends on what you mean by better. It's just as crazy as 3, in fact 3 is actually easier because there is a full stereo field for you to utilize. as for SF games in general and 4 in particular... well, can't say more than what everyone else has already been saying. Move commands are usually quarter circle motions, and as a player I way prefer the ps3 controler over the xbox360 for this type of thing. Re: Marvel VS CapCom 3 and Street Fighter Help
Re: Marvel VS CapCom 3 and Street Fighter Help I like Super Street Fighter 4, Marvle VS Capcom 3,on the other hand is a game I really never picked up. I've actually read articles that say UMVC3 is one of the hardest games to play. Even for sited people. Re: Marvel VS CapCom 3 and Street Fighter Help My friend has it currently because he's borrowing but I have super street fighter 4 arcade edition. And marvel vs capcom 3, when I played it at a friends, is a cool concept, but its real hard to get used to. I lose all the time, and the tag in and tag out buttons are unbeknown to me. Re: Marvel VS CapCom 3 and Street Fighter Help
Re: Marvel VS CapCom 3 and Street Fighter Help Which version of Street Fighter do you have?Anyways, most street fighter moves are pretty simple. There are a few different types of movesets for the game. Some people require you to do quarter circle moves, some require you to hold back or down for a few seconds, before going up/forwards to do a move, and then, there are others who need you to do a full 360 circle movement with the dPad or joystick. For example. Ryu's hadouken move requires you to do the QCF motion, plus a punch. QCF meaning, quarter circle forwards.here, you must start from the down position of either dPad or joystick, then move your finger towards the right or the left of your pad, depending on where you stand. If i was on the first player side, I'd move my thumb from the down position to the right side of the circle, and then, hit a punch button, right as i reach the right arrow of my dPad.not sure if this will help any but, yeah. Re: Marvel VS CapCom 3 and Street Fighter Help Marvel Vs Capcom (the original) was much more accessible: there wasn't a ton of noise, the BGM volume was easy enough to find, and stereo was a non issue. The only serious problem was normal jumps being silent (to the extent that just using anti air attacks at random is safer than not on someone not use to it).I'm honestly kinda terrified of the sequels; I've never heard anyone playing them without it sounding like they're more chaotic, with team shenanigans and boatloads of characters and more overwhelming all-or-nothing music (the latter is my main complaint about Street Fighter Alpha 3, which is otherwise one of the better Capcom fighters).I don't know if the movelists in MVC3 differ dramatically from how they've traditionally played. Generally speaking, down-forward and down-back, and numerous repetitions thereof (FDF, BDB, DFDF, FDB and BDF) covered just about everything important. (Possibly try the analog sticks/D-pad to see if one is easier?)(My copy of Marvel Vs Capcom went missing and I don't have PSN powers to download the collection of Marvel Vs Capcom + Marvel Super Heros Vs Street Fighter. Argh.)
