For example, if you set Google to English but still want to search for something in your language, the screen reader switches to English anyways. I don't mind switching manually, especially since NVDA has an addon to switch synths with one shortcut as long as you configure it. Re: My site was changed. Don't know about Polish, but about Serbian, Yes, for sure. Exactly the same, with no difference at all. As for why that doesn't happen in all cases, well because some people are better in English than others. If you pronounce reviev and review it is very obvious, so if you listen to the texts with an English synth you will see the difference. That's why in the beginning, when I wasn't sure about my spelling, I would read through my texts with both, each would notice a different set of possible errors. For example, with Slavic synths it is much easier to spot errors I mentioned in my previous posts, but it is often a lot harder to spot if you misplaced Y or I, or V and W. Re: My site was changed. @7 I would advise either being informed about it first, or just asking. Just because it sounds wrong to you as a native speaker, it does not mean it's hard to read. In fact, in many cases people prefer to read using their native TTS rather than English, and I would say that in many cases, they notice spelling errors a lot better than native speakers as well. For example, you would not hear the difference between plain and plane, stupid VS stewpid, break VS brake and so on. These are with Eloquence, so maybe with something else they do differ, but regardless of the synth there is always something you won't spell correctly if you rely on it. Believe me, these are all errors seen from native speakers, and just as W and V is super super obvious to you, so are these to me and I also shrug when seeing them. Guess what though? Kids who are not native English speakers can't spell well. You will have to deal with it for a few years or just ignore it, which is much better. If I go look at my first posts on this forum, I will have a strong wish to delete them, but I am not going to do that because I'm proud of how my spelling improved over the years. It all depends on the language. Slavic languages tend to treat W and V the same, and this is especially the case if you write more than speaking so don't notice the difference at first. In French for example it is often the case that people forget E at the end of a word because it's ignored in French or insert it where it isn't needed, and so on.
