@1132 sorry yeah it was offensive... Just can't imagine redspot as an ofline game, and also that was and i hope that'll be my favorite fps game, and the best while playing was the human reactions on the other end. Gained a ton of eq, killed a lot of players for stuff, gained theyr items right after item grabbing. Then they grouped and hunted me down if they could, or a more experienced player killed me, etc. Can't imagine that with npcs. So again sorry for the offense i don't have problem with you, just the idea shocked me

Excuse me while I promptly go die of laughter. I am not a newbie, far from it, in fact. The problem is no matter how skilled you are, you will be taken down by somebody with more equipment. If a rabbit gets in a tank and attacks a fox, the tank will win not because the rabbit had skill, but because he had more room for errors. Had the rabbit fought the fox on an even ground, the fox would most likely win. While this is a bad example, it does get the point across. The problem is not skill, it's the resources one has at his or her control. I could be as skilled as I wanted, and I would have still lost to somebody with 300 quads and grenades, 500 shielded, and 36k health. You spammed admins: Hang on, when did I do that? Logs please? Evidence? Posts? Messages? Yeah, that's what I thought. In the future, if you want me or anyone else to take you seriously, provide evidence for your statements. Making topics in ag forum: Hang on a sec, show me 2 topics which I have created that concerned Redspot. If you can do it, go ahead. If you can't well. I made a topic, a single topic, so please be accurate with your accusations. I caused Redspot to go down? Wow, I'm honored. Looks like somebody gave me too much credit. I don't think I was the last straw, in fact, I'm quite sure of it. If you can prove me otherwise, again. More power to you. I'm more than willing to listen. Me being a deek? What's that? @1128 are you okay? Redspot ofline mode? What do you want to do? Running and getting bonuses? That's not the real game. Redspot is an online game, the challenge is in defeating the other players. With npcs, nooo that wouldn't be good. The main thing is the multiplaying, the human reactions on the other side... That's an unique game in the fps category, and i think that's the best. So i think reprogramming it in ofline mode, putting some bots in it, which only some calculated enemyes... N... It was okay when there were some robots which you can activate, while you could chase it and catch the other guy who tried to avoid the bot's fire. But no other npcs... That's the problem with your idea. And AlirezaNosrati, just one thing, scm had more active members. With that you could stock up tons of eq, which made you unbeatable. I didn't have problem with it, i could cause problem for nearly everyone  but that's realy unbalanced. I don't throwing just problems, i have idea for balancing it, limited storage based on team members. Scm can stock up for starting, you can make defense etc, and your strength will remain because of the active members. Just it won't accept 100 mil shields in storage, allthough don't know how many did you have just know it was so lot

I would like to start by saying that I'm not Sam or Carter, I'm just looking at what ifs here. A lot of people are mad that Redspot was down. Here are some reasons why I think bgt version was closed.1: Admins and server issues. Post 1125 clearly shows their ignorance when it comes to running an online game. Finding admins is easy, finding good admins is what takes time. Finding admins that won't abuse power and or stay cool-headed in situations is what makes things difficult. Trust me: If you think you can be an admin, you probably can't. Most admins are asked, read, gently forced into accepting their new job.2: While Redspot was a thing, topics that caused a lot of issues came up on a regular bases. While I agree that Sam could have adjusted the game based on the feedback he received, the fact remains. He didn't. I don't know about you, but I would eventually grow tired of seeing topics that talk crap about me and my game. Some of you just need to accept it: Redspot has a chance of staying dead for ever. I'm not saying it will, mind you, I'm just saying that it's a possibility.3: Let's say that Redspot will be back. Can you imagine what a hype it will cause? I can. I can also imagine people screaming that they want this or that back, or that they don't like something and they wanted Sam to change it here and now! I can't imagine Sam looking forward to it. And to people who think that nothing will remain changed, here's a shocker: It will. Redspot will change. Sam is not the type who would forget the topics that made the forum burn, not while Carter is at his side, anyways.5: Most of you haven't even considered the time it takes to create a game! It takes time, trust me. It takes time to iron out those bugs, takes time playing with the attacks formulas, it takes time to make sure that nothing is being leaked over the network. If Sam releases Redspot only to find out that it has a crucial bug in it, nobody will be happy.

i have to agree with everone here. if the real version takes litteral ages to create, why does the .bgt version have to close? ou can do this thing called search for ne admins, and put in a server log that updates threw dropbox. check it every now and again, and you can find the admin abusers. have that log ever single command used. so if it looks like someones moving to a specific location, or kicking players rapidly, or any other suspicious thing lke that, remove there adminship.

just a little bit luck and you can kill a guy with shields socked up. Once i had enough from someone who killed me on bf, two equipped teammember were required to avoid death from my skylaser. The mini one which you can get everywhere. Cheap cartridges and impossible amount of shield damage. The fleeying player had to reequip a ton of shields and nobody walks around with 1k shield in theyr inventory... Anyway a balance would be realy good maybe a limit in the storages... E.g you can store membersx50, or members x 100 or something like that amount from one item at a time in the storage, and a limied amount of bc loaded in the computer. And to avoid abuse, you can't put packs in the storage. So the base system would be worthy because after login you can restock and start playing, but wouldn't give ultimate power against everyone.

@ivan_sodo lol, and i agree with most of the posts here, i would love servers, even just for melee and combo arena's, nothign else. i liked how fair it was, no one coul dhave more than 2000 health, it was a small map, many players sometimes, and fun fights everywhere...you never knew who was attacking you or the people around you because you were swingin that saber around hitting players left right and center, just trying to survive!

Just one thing, I hope you used quads with the SMG carbine or the hand grenades. Lol, the hand grenades were abused so much they were lowered because they could easily gobble up 50 shields before you could say crunch!

If you can't kill someone on KG who is maxed stats, what makes you think you can kill them once they've gone to the store, or have bases set up on battlefield. KG you will die eventually, the combat and melee arenas don't matter. When I would play, people would carry around hundreds of shields. You would literally have to hit them with hundreds of grenades to kill them, or use a sky laser, but good luck with that when they've got hundreds of invisibility shields, bikes, jets, candy and boots. Those kinds of fights only served to piss people off, accuse people of cheating, and cause headaches for admins.     Just allow people to form three player teams on KG, and it'd be fine.    This is just my own thoughts on the matter.

hm i think the base system is also can be good with the store. If you don't like it np you can restart the kg after a hour, just item loss but yeah everything has a price. And if you can remain on kg forever it's a bit unbalanced, the first member who logs in can stock up eq then kill everything with a lot of shield and antibio in theyr inventory. It's beatable, i know it, sometime it happened with me too when 2,3 players work together to kill a too boosted one, but yeah it requires teamwork... Bf is not so bad at all if you're fast enough you can hurt a bf player so hard with kg equipment too, again self experience  and for the store that's a balance against bases, you can't stock eq in it but with bc it's easy to stock up on shields and antibios. With the bc packs on the kg it's wery easy, you just have to stock up 2,3 extra shield on kg, go to bf, equip them then run to the store, and you're ready to make pain to the teams. Anyway just one thing, bases shouldn't build up on the islands, because there's just one way to go there, and with the bc packs it's sooo easy to put unbalanced amount of sky mines and missiles on the bridges or the skyline.

It´ll feature mechanics that drastically differ from what your used to, but should hopefully prevent a couple of the shortcomings in the last version. I've also gotten it to work where you get on that base's tile, turn like northeast or northwest, walk forward once, turn 180 degrees from that, and start beating the crap out of that base. Yeah.

Sorry, haven't checked this topic in quite a while.I'll try and explain, although it's otherwise complicated. First, grab some sandbags and ladders, you'll need them. Let's assume you have a base that you want to destroy located at 801 on the x, 36 on the z. Note: this requires some logic/calculation, in this post I won't be taking this into account as that's not really the point. Meaning, these steps were designed more to give an idea of how one would go about doing this before accuracy.Setup sandbags vertically starting on the ground by the fense. This structure will require something like 3 or 4. Build a ladder right behind the last one. Climb up that ladder, step forward, place a sandbag, step back and place a ladder so you can climb up to that sandbag you just placed. Do this until base_z-your_z is greater-than 15 but less-than 30, since a sandbag is 15 tiles high. Climb your ladder until your_z+15=base_z. You should then be able to climb up that ladder a bit and jump forward on the sandbag, where you'll be 1 behind the base.As I said, this is quite difficult to explain, so let me know if you have questions.

I have done that actually. I stacked two sand bags and then used a ladder to get to the exact base tile. But when I shoot at the base, the ladder always falls.

Try using sandbags to get up there, and make sure you’re on the same height as the base when you shoot.

So I have seen more than a few bases that have been made on fences. Are you even supposed to be able to do this? Being on the fences you can't hit the bases like on the ground. Isn't this the same as building them in a wall? I tried a ladder once but every time I use a ladder and try to shoot the ladder just breaks... So what you supposed to do about these things?

I dunno about everyone else, but I'd love to see the option of a casual deathmatch mode for those who just want to get on and shoot it out with a couple of mates. Maybe you could limit shields to 50 and health to like 2000 or something. The bases seem cool for people who want to go full out, but the game honestly seems to be more of a grind fest than anything else and it kinda kills any real excitement when you've just respawned and someone with like 3000 shields and 20k hp comes and wrecks your day.

Hi allI know that this has been discussed before, but I have a problem adding RS as an exception to windows defender. Actually, I have a problem also in opening windows defender. I can't find it into my start menu, so I go into the control panel and pres enter on the windows defender icon. However, it just tells me "please, click here to activate." The problem is that I can't find the "here" it's talking about, and also I think that the program is already running because I can't even unzip Redspot that redspot.exe desappears. I have also another antivirus on my computer, I think is microsoft security essential but I have to check. Do you know what should I do? Tanks

After clearing all the baricades on the island we started to attack his base when... Our bullets started to go through the base and hitting the sandbag behind it. Dog has added us to his base's owner list. When I politely contacted him saying something along the lines of "If you piece of shit don't remove us from the base's owner list I'll report you to the devs". He complied, only to do the same thing 3 minutes later. I should mention that Captain cunt left during our conversation with Dog, so now it was only the 2 of us. it went on like that for a while, Dog exiting the base, getting a face full of machinegun fire, getting his shields broke and running away into his base to get more, all the time keeping up the conversation that Sounded something likeMe: "This is your second warning, Dog."Dog: "Fuck off."Me: "if you don't remove me from the base's owner list I will report you to the devs."Dog: "I will give you btc's if you leave my base alone."Me: "Too late for that now. That base's going down if I have a say about it."Dog: "Fuck off." After some, ur, convincing shall we call it, Dog removed me the second time, only to do the same 30 seconds later when I started to shoot at his base. There was something different about it, though. That third time he didn't remove me from the owners list, resulting in this long rambling post. Karter, please please for the love of god do something about it. Let the base owners know the door code as soon as they're added, disallow adding someone who fired at the base in the last 10 minutes, something! I would also like to mention that I seen Dog do something like this once before when we attacked his other base at 900 1500 0. It was me, charlie, audiogamer2005 and david who wasn't on our team. Dog broke the rules 4 times by exploiting a loophole in the code, all of them were intentional, so he at least deserves a 2 month ban at least. I am thinking as the same as you. I don't want to add exceptions or deal with windows defender in any way while downloading a game. I don't play it for this reason. Can somebody fix bgt or notify Microsoft or find another solution?

Update: I can play okay at the condo, but there is some definite lag on the battlefield Vs. the killing ground.

how will the base capimplemented? Will all bases destroys or just the ones with low hp? And an other. Is it possible to add when a player tracks an other, and maybe 100 tiles away, it switches off the afk choice? Because i tryed to get a guy on battlefield, and after i dested his shield he could escape with an invis shield, and went afk when i was nearly 100 tiles from he, 3-5 secs before i catch him again.

is it problem for someone else, after some startup redspot starts to lag, maybe because of some memory usage. Longer jump, can't skip the intro, slow reaction when i want move turn etc. For 2-3 start it doesn't appear just after 4-5 or like that.

Yes, the battlefield lags my net out horribly at home. Further, my mobile data hates it even more. I'll have to check the net at our condo, as it's actually fiber, so will update this post accordingly; however, with all these bases, the battlefield is lagged quite noticeably.
