Re: Searching for a good multiplatform voice conferencing program

teamtalk is not really that hard to get to work with android. I'm running it successfully on android and things work here. I mostly use it on windows and, mac, it works, but not that accessible, but there are workarounds. If you all want a server to talk on, I have one up if you want information. the server that I run is account based, so you will need an account to log in. I'm up on that server almost 24=7 just to monitor stuff.

Re: Searching for a good multiplatform voice conferencing program

Thanks, Nocturnus! I tried that one for PC but, as you said, it is difficult to get the Android version to work. Have you tried to make group calls in Facebook Messenger? I know you can call someone using Mozilla Firefox via pc, but I'm not sure about IOS, since I don't have Apple products.

Re: Searching for a good multiplatform voice conferencing program

TeamTalk, works on windows and Mac PC's as well as on iOS devices.  There's an Android version floating around but I've never heard of anyone getting it to work.  The downside is that you'll have to either, A, set up a server for people to come and talk to you on, or, B, find another server where you and friends can create channels for yourselves.  Regardless which of these two you end up going with, TeamTalk will allow you to do everything from chatting via voice and text, to sharing media files with other individuals and, should you care to set up a server of your own, to allow others to download said files.  In addition to this, should you ever need it, you can create channels that are moderated/monitored, where only those who moderate or monitor are allowed to transmit voice on a regular basis while others must figuratively raise their hand to speak and can only do so when allowed by moderators.  There's much more, If you are already interested  you can check it out here.
