Re: Uncharted 4 accessibility: There is hope Hi.I would have posted this much earlier, but I have hoped to get a reply from the company who have made the game, because I took a lot of time writing a mail explaining how I've managed to play a bit of the game, and I've wrote a lot of suggestions which would make the game close to 100% accessible for us. But sadly, I haven't heard from them yet, and I don't know if I should try to send my mail again, or if no answer means that they aren't interested.So, I also posted an edited version of the mail I wrote to them on the Playstation forum, to hopefully get some attention public, but only one reply so far. So if you have any ideas on where to post to get more attention, I would really like to hear about it.So, instead of writing all this again, I'll post a link to my post on the Playstation forum. I tried my best to explain to people who don't know how to play console games as a blind gamer to hopefully get peoples attention. Here is the link. Would love her thoughts on it, I've heard good things about the mode from people who are legally blind but only based on seeing short clips, not someone who has actually played a decent chunk of the game with it turned on. She says that it's really difficult to fail the jumps, and if you die, the game will mostly load at the place you died.She confirmed that the partners give virbal comments on where to go, and if they don't, they'll start to go in the direction you should go.When a hint pops up on where to go, it makes a sound, and you can press the up arrow to view the hint, and the character will be pointed in the right direction. She will check if pressing the up arrow will turn the character into the right direction all the time, or only when the hint is comming up.The only real issue I currently see is to pick up the ammo for the weapons, because you can't hear where they are lying on the ground. It might also be difficult to drive in the game, but it might, depending on how the game works. Re: Uncharted 4 accessibility: There is hope ok so some what good news, guys I did get my hands on the game, and it is some what playable. the developers made it to where you don't need to use the right analog stick at all, for jumping or aiming which helps a lot, but you still need sighted help navigating and platforming, there is no getting around that. I am going to make a recording of the first chapter next week to show you the parts where sight will be needed. from what I can see thus far, if the developers add beeping sound radars throughout the game at places where you need to jump, swing, and climb, then we can possibily play this independently.
