It was fun at the first tame, then mason got mad at me (Or I got mad at mason lol) and the project went down. Nowadays, I'm a professional sound designer, and still want to make series or audio dramas but have no ideas nor time due to the university.My second embarrassing topic was the rhythm immitations game ish thing one. It wasn't really debeloped at all, I was still learning how to code decently, and even though I'm studying a minor on coding and software engineering, I'm not that risky to throw a second... Well, to be honest, my most imbarrassing topic was the one about implementing bgt in .net.After some time since the discussion has frozen/stopped evolving and my topic begun sinking ever deeper, I realised that, in my efforts of making people move away from bgt with my new...inovative...whatever engine, I was not doing any better my self than what I am trying to remove. The point is right in the title: implementation of **bgt** in .net.For the people who didn't get it untill now, I was basically trying to replace the old, deprecated bgt with a new, even more malformed bgt. I say malformed because, by the time I would have finished it, it would already be outdated because winforms was, even at the time, deprecated, people choosing to use wpf instead.So, all in all, I would have done a great dis service to this community, needless to speak about me trying to use angelscript, a natively compiled library to interpret bgt like scripts on .net, a platform that's already half interpreted anyway. Besides the obvious p/invoke hassle, we would have a significant overhead because of the framework as well as the workarounds I would have used to be able to add assemblies to the native environment, as well as calling classes and accessing members from angelscript, I bet I'd need to build a bridge between the two garbage collectors, like the guys at mono for android did to be able to interoperate between .net/clr and java... a pain in the ass to get right, so no thanks!In the end, I am very happy that I didn't do it after all, it's better for all of us.
