Re: What was happened with Audio games archive?

Hey there,I'm not a representative of the site, but it looks like they just need to upgrade to https.I mean it's of course possible the website has been hacked and corrupted but... I'm doubting it

Re: What was happened with Audio games archive?

We're using HTTPS, unfortunately the problem is that the site is being flagged by Google as unsafe, possibly because a lot of the games we host are flagged as false positives by antivirus software. Not sure what we can do about it unfortunately.

Re: What was happened with Audio games archive?

Fair enough. the http didn't automatically redirect to the https, which is a best practice and what threw me off to be honest. If it doesn't automatically throw you onto https, I assume that's because it's not been set up, so in that regard, my bad.perhaps this website will help you guys in taking steps to resolve these errors.https://blog.threatpress.com/website-fl … re-google/

Re: What was happened with Audio games archive?

This is why big companies should not be allowed to control what websites you can visit and what ones you can't. There's no method whatsoever to go to if they've made a mistake, as they have here. And if you submit it for review, Google will just trust their computers and flag it again. Your only option, right now, is to remove the "suspicious" (in quotes) content from the website and request a review then.

Re: What was happened with Audio games archive?

Though while I was searching, I came across a Google troubleshooter meant to check if a site has been hacked, and if you're sure your site is safe is suppose to allow you to send reconsideration requests through their forums. I'm suspicious that we might just get an automated response, though it's probably worth a try. The article has been sent to John.

Re: What was happened with Audio games archive?

What bothers me is that Google is more than happy to claim your website is infected and possibly destroy your business, even if it’s determined that your website is being flagged because of a false positive. I can’t help but wonder why they cannot simply email the website owners asking what’s going on and going with the benefit of the doubt, possibly putting a warning that the site is under caution rather than saying it out right got hacked. I guess I shouldn’t question though, after all Google and Google’s computers know everything, right? Yeah, right… Let’s go with that.

Re: What was happened with Audio games archive?

We've added a notice to the front page about this. Admittedly the people who are seeing warnings may not get far enough to see it, but if they do they'll at least know what's going on.
