I'm really impressed at how responsive iOS 13 is on my iPhone 6s, especially when you consider it's the oldest device the software can run on. These 64-bit iOS devices are awesome! I think the battery issue has more to do with a bad battery, so I'm investigating my options for replacing it. I'm sure as hell not taking it to Apple and paying $129 or $149 or whatever ridiculous price someone told me back in December. So if you find it too fast, you can slow it down by going to settings, accessibility, voiceover, typing and there you will find an option to do that. Re: iOS 13.1 is out. I've noticed that Voiceover is more responsive in general, particularly when typing. In fact, it's taking me a bit of time to adjust to the fact that I can no longer keep my finger on the screen for as long as I used to. For example, I sometimes have trouble hearing the difference between v and b, and a couple of other letters, so I usually hesitate for that extra second or so to hear the phoenetic pronunciation to make sure I'm getting it right. I'm finding that I have to be quicker about it now, though, because it brings up that popup thing where it will start adding a bunch of extra letters otherwise. I'm not complaining, since more responsiveness is good, it's just different.I definitely have started to notice extra battery drain, though. I opened Downcast a bit ago, and, while it usually does take a pretty good chunk of available power to refresh all of the podcasts I'm subscribed to, this time it went from 78% down to 19% while refreshing, which is not cool. El, if just one voice is glitchy in my opinion doesn't mean the whole release is trash. While I personally don't use certain voices, if there were issues with one, I would definitely move to another. The only real issue I had after the upgrade was that when I had to complete the setup process, Voiceover lagged so badly that it was nearly impossible to enter my passcode, both the one for the phone, and then my Apple ID password. I was nearly convinced that I would have to reset my phone and restore from a backup. Luckily, once the voice changed back from using Samantha to the one I had previously set, everything worked fine, but that is really unacceptable. I haven't experienced any other significant bugs so far, but then, I don't use my phone as heavily as most people do. When it comes to 13, there's a sporadic but annoying bug causing VO to freeze after ending a call. It does not happen to everybody, and in fact I encountered it only twice during the whole 13.1 beta cicle which is more or less about a month. How ever i ve also seen a voice broke, but this was only a problem in configuration when vo just kepd glitching away cause of that, after deleting the voice and then redownloading it it worked just fine.
