I don't know if this is allowed, but I would say to have a plan with limited space and people can pay for space upgrades, i.e start at 5gb and a dollar per extra gig will up your space a bit. I mean it makes sense for some providers for an example when they offer unlimited space, but if you don't and then limit the file size this makes no sense anymore because the effeckts for you not change this much. I mean there are other reasons people might need to upload big files besides storage, like games, etc. I do see your point about money being an issue with a free service and all though, I just think 10 megs for any hosting provider is going a little over the top. x10 does the exact same thing and the last thing we need is another x10. This is not dropbox or any other cloud storage. And I wouldn’t recommend anyone to use any public website provider as a cloud storage service and for most providers it’s against the terms and conditions also. So far I haven't encountered a provider that offers unlimited anything for free. And even if they advertise unlimited whatever and even the CP says unlimited that doesn't mean there aren't limits, it just means that the limit is ridiculously high or the provider doesn't care about wasting money because someone uploaded a 20 TB file up there and now the system is unusable. Not in less you are a hosting provider. Do you have any evidence that they have been looking at other peoples files. Any hard, Cold, and indisputable evidence? If so, please share them. I’m sure me and the community would love to take a look at it. But my main point, is that we don’t know. We don’t know what are they doing with the files. That can be said about any hosting provider. Oh, sure, some providers offer instructions on what they do with the files. But for all you know, it could all be a big lie. If you are going to be paranoid, be paranoid about something you can control. Unfortunately, the Internet is not such an example.
