Re: Zero Sight

I confess I've not played the game for a while, but as I remember, shortcuts to both the english and italian manuals are in a subfolder in the start menu called navigation. Alternativey, they are in the program folder. they're just fairly standard html files so reading them shouldn't be too much of a problem. hth.

Re: zero sight please help

Zero sight is intentionally a hard game, you need to learn to fly properly, it's all about doing things slowly and gradually over tme and listening to your egines, you'll need to practice but it will be worth it when your flying around taking out enemy aircraft, good luck!

Re: zero sight please help

You must not press 9 quickly, do it slow so you can warm your enjins. Keep pressing home and end to tell what speed your enjins are at, and i don't remember what speed it has to be to take off but its in the manual. Also you must, before angling your plain, turn on the enjins with the page up and page down keys, then tilt upword and so forth.

Re: Flight Sim, Three-D Velocity or Zero Sight?

I think the FSX is quite accessible using Itsyourplane.  Though FSNavigator is useful, I think that FSX really does similar things i.e. flight planning etc.  Also, one can buy flight planners which are accessible for FSX.  Also, FSX supports many other parts of later hardware are more supported in FSX as well.NerURL: http://forum.audiogames.net/viewtopic.php?pid=155951#p155951

Re: Flight Sim, Three-D Velocity or Zero Sight?

I would like to try out FS2004 in combination with FSNavigator. I think it'll be accessible for us then. But talking about TDV VS ZeroSight, I prefer to TDV. Of course, ZeroSight is a little bit more complex, but it doesn't really impresses me. Way too less sounds, and firing missiles and crashing and things like that don't sound realistic at all.URL: http://forum.audiogames.net/viewtopic.php?pid=155938#p155938

Re: Flight Sim, Three-D Velocity or Zero Sight?

TDV is awesome in terms of combat simulations. however I think it needs an update regarding real air dynamics and such. You can do some stuff in TDV which you cannot do in real, and there are some good pilot actions that can be added to this game.If you are more into commercial and civ aircrafts, you should  go toward Microsoft flight simulator, and Itsyourplane. the price is abit heavy though, but that's it if you're really into these stuff.URL: http://forum.audiogames.net/viewtopic.php?pid=155497#p155497

Re: Flight Sim, Three-D Velocity or Zero Sight?

Hi,The story for the mission is completely acted out so there's one overall goal, which is destroying the cloning operation. That mission's divided into about 8 sections. In TDV 2 there will be a few more and the mission will be more than just flying around blowing up stuff, though this will still be a big part of the overall goal.Your speed is fine. In fact that's usually what I run at unless I'm not worried about fuel.I can't help you much with the stalling unless I get a feel for how you handle your aircraft. In TDV 2 there'll be tips on avoiding stalls and you'll also get to see what will actually cause one, so maybe when the training mode is out you'll do better.I'm glad you're having fun though. That's the main focus. And I'm also happy you gained something from the tutorials.URL: http://forum.audiogames.net/view

Re: Flight Sim, Three-D Velocity or Zero Sight?

Hi Munawar. Thanks for your response.I had an evening of dyeing on the TDV demo last night and am starting to get the hang of it. It’s a lot of fun.Taking off, racing, and landing aren’t a problem but the dog fighting is really hit and miss for me at the moment. It’s sometimes really quite hard to work out why I died. Thanks for the audio tutorials they really helped.V2 sounds really good. Particularly a flight school. When I get in to the story line are there different’ kinds of missions other than Dog fighting and racing? Also how many parts to the story are there and what can you do when you’ve completed the “destroy the island” mission. Does the story end there or is there more things to do?The multiplayer sounds good, for me though I’m more about missions and tasks rather than just lots of dog fighting. As it comes to dog fighting I can’t seem to get away from the component to give me some space to get turned around. I seem to be stalling quite a lot and once I ran out of fuel in the simulator. That particular time I spent quite a bit of time at top speed. I’ve been playing most of the time where I have the speed just lower than when the after burners kick in, about 650 knots or so, Is this about right or am I doing stuff to quickly?Sorry about all the questions.Thanks.Nick.URL: http://forum.audiogames.net/viewtopic.php?pid=155455#p155455

Re: Flight Sim, Three-D Velocity or Zero Sight?

Hi,You're correct; there hasn't been much development in this genre. As far as I'm aware, TDV and Zero Sight are your only two options. If you want to go mainstream, I've heard Microsoft Flight Simulator can be made accessible through voice commands. That being said, if you're going for story, TDV's got what you want. In fact, in TDV 2 the story has been completely redone, and preorders for version 2 are now open. You'll get free online time and also get the game for $5 off its original sale price since you don't have version 1. TDV 2 will also have better support for flight sticks, and more realistic controls. Plus, it'll come with multiplayer.Zero Sight has game extensions they release from time to time, but I'm not aware of any multiplayer capabilities. The aircraft itself is fairly realistic; their system is quite unique in that they borrow concepts from both passenger airliners and fighter jets.TDV 2
will come with an interactive training mode that will help you learn how the aircraft handles, since, as you said it will take time to learn the maneuvers of a semi-realistic flight simulation. I hope this clarifies things a bit for you!URL: http://forum.audiogames.net/viewtopic.php?pid=155429#p155429

Flight Sim, Three-D Velocity or Zero Sight?

Hi All.I’d like to get a flight sim game and from what I’ve seen there’s really 2 options, Three-D Velocity or Zero Sight.I’ve listened to the trailers and TDV looks a bit more like what I was after but was wondering if anyone had any suggestions.I’m after a game which is realistic in terms of controlling the air craft, I’m aware that this means a bit of a learning curve. I’d also like it to have a good replay value and a bit of story narrative as well as different kinds of mission. I’d also like there to be an element of skill to controlling stuff, but with avoiding guessing what you have to do.So what’s the best game for me?Thanks.Nick.URL: http://forum.audiogames.net/viewtopic.php?pid=155368#p155368
