If you think a error message would appear, can you make a foto of your screen with your phone and then use something like ocr text scanner on android to get the aproximative text and paste it here? Is it too much for a stupid linux vm? Re: accessible Arch installers Try orca -r on the terminal and see what happens, maybe the shortcut isn't associated with anything.Alternatively, you could have a look at speakup, but, as it's a kernel module, you'll have to get a distribution with it preconfigured since it can be a pain in the but for a beginner to install and configure, say, on ubuntu.
