Re: narrator on windows phone.

Hi.If you really want a Windows Phone device, get the lower end Lumia models. They should sell for under $100 if you get them locked. Just make sure you get the locked phone that is locked to your carrier. For instance, I got a locked AT&T Lumia 635 from Amazon for $50 or so. I just put the sim from my iPhone 5s into the Lumia with a sim card adapter to change from nano sim to micro sim. You may be able to find cheaper phones.Alternatively, you could go look for a place htat allows you to test a Windows Phone. I can say don't get a Windows Phone all day but I think you should have the opportunity to try it yourself to make a decision.

Re: narrator on windows phone.

@MarioWell if you have an iPad mini 2 you will regret buying a windows phone. Believe me. If you'd like to try out a windows phone device, then look for any second hand device for experimental purposes.@Criss, I love the new! name! Microcrap! It sounds awesome! I don't know why don't they put this name over their products. Then we come to android. I got a second hand, old phone with android 2.3, and it is not really accessible. On the other hand, I own a Samsung galaxy s3 with android 4.4.2 and it's very very good. You can assume that most of the apps you will need to install in daily basis will be compatible with talkback. Still what I hate mostly on android is the lack of responsiveness of talkback with web browsers like chrome which is an, irreplaceable web browser. Others are nicely improved compared to where it has been two or three years ago.

Re: narrator on windows phone.

Hi.I bought a cheap Lumia 635 and am not impressed. I don't know how to put 10 on it, but WIndows Phone 8.1 Narrator could be a lot better. I regret purchasing this. The only good thing is that I now have a backup phone I can put my sim into if I need a phone. I will say that the only applications that work reasonably are phone, messages, contacts, Internet Explorer, Skype and mail. Iwouldn't be surpirsed if everything is the same in Windows Phone 10. Speaking of Windows Phone, it was a pain just to get the phone updated to 8.1 update 1. Microcrap has a program called Preview for Developers that allows you to get around the carrier restrictions by downloading updates directly through Microsoft. However, this program was not accessible with Narrator. I had to get my mom to help me sign in and press the join program button so I could get the software updates. This is why I think Microcrap accessibility is a joke. If they can't even bother to make all the defaul
t apps accessible, then why even bother to provide Narrator? So, if you want a Windows Phone for very basic stuff like calling, messaging and checking e-mail, Windows Phone is not bad. However, I don't really use my Lumia because none of the apps in the store are accessible. I would suggest that you buy an iPhone or a Moto E running Android 5.0. I love using Android on my 2013 Nexus 7 and think Google has done far more in terms of accessibility than Microcrap will ever do.

Re: narrator on windows phone.

hi friend.I already have an iPad Mini2.By now Apple is still the one that offersthe best  accessibility.with all the problems that we recognize, the apple, she still continues to offer the best accessibility.android has many advantages, but the work  talkback is slow and the problems always remain unresolved. in each new beta coming out ...I prefer problems with accessibility than without accessibilityI was almost sure of it but wanted to ask the same could be things to be diffrent at this time ...thanks

Re: narrator on windows phone.

Hello, seeing that Microsoft narrator is not such accessible on windows, and the latest version of windows 10, (not that I tried it by the way), I wouldn't suggest you purchasing a windows phone device. There are cheap android devices varying from 100 dollars which promise a good experience, to 500 dollars premium Samsung or nexus devices which are very good phones and much more faster, accessible and powerful phones. Then if you want premium accessibility, go for an iPhone, from iPhone 4s to iPhone 6+ you could update to the latest version of iOS which, if I'm not wrong, it's 8.4. Don't waste your money on windows phones mate, try android or iPhone. At least you are trying out something "Perhaps" new to you.Cheers.
