Re: passenger transport pods on Core Exiles I just want to update everyone on how Im doing. Ive reached lever 13. Ive figured out why I couldnt use the asteroid mining scanner. You dont have to be a level 15. You do need to make sure to attempt to dock at the asteroid, even though it tells you that you cant then it seems you can mine. I say this because In my past attempts, Ive tried mining the asteroid without docking at it, or I should say trying to dock at it and I had no luck. Im currently doing missions for Gunny. At the top of the screen there are several labeled images which link to various things you can do on the map screen around whatever your orbiting such as combat scan, derelict scan or repare options when your orbiting an asteroid field, two of those will be mine and deploy drones just as when you go to a refinery one of those will be refine Btw, if youve not read it, check out my Ce layout guide, its either here in the articles room or you can find a copy in the Vi section of the Ce forum. Re: passenger transport pods on Core Exiles Thank you Dark I will check that out. I just bought a mistle launcher. Im the correct level, and I spent the correct IP. When I go to use the launcher though, and select mistles from the combo box, it just says combo box mistles. it doesnt give me a choice on what to select. Im not so concerned with the combo boxes those are easy enough to get around, It just seems like the mistles arent being loaded into the launcher or something, When I went to take a look in my ship store, it said mistle damage 0 Which thats not what the mistles looked like when I bought them for the launcher. These are standard mistles and their suppose to take 125 damage. I think thats the maximum not sure what the minimum is. I did try switching the launcher from weapon slot 2 to weapon slot 1 to see if that would make a difference, and had no luck. Im just not sure if Im suppose to load them manually or something? Any help on this would be great. I did l ook on the forums over their, and couldnt find an explination on this. If your a level 5 player you dont want a passenger transport pod, you want a passenger cabin. What is the difference? Transport pods are pods and fit in your pod slot, while cabins are devices and fit in your device slot, however unique to all pods passenger transport pods also need the shadow sword frame in your device slot as well so theyre pretty expensive on ship energy to use. At level 5 you just want a passenger cabin, which if I remember rightly you can buy from one of the standard stores. The Cedr is in the first dropdown and is your friend, indeed Id highly recommend you always look at the cedr before buying any equipment to A, make sure where to get it or make it, and B, make sure you have the correct skills for it. As an access tip, Note that the cedr is all properly columnized so if your screen reader has the ability to move around tables that will be of help to you.Id also recommend checking out my Ce layout guide in the articles room.hth. Things really speeded up once I hit level 6 and I was able to start transporting passengers. I want to finish all the NPC missions with jonus. But it looks like I cant use an asteroid scanner until level 15 What other NPCS can I start interacting with at level 10? Thanks everyone for all your help. Re: passenger transport pods on Core Exiles Hmmm, it is a long while sinse I did all jonas missions, but I thought the asteroid scanner 1 was usable at level 10. I certainly dont remember having to break off Jonas missions when i started. He gives you your first introduction, you then move on to Gunny who introduces combat, and then Winston in kelsy who gets you into more advanced stuff. Npc missions for Ce are sadly rather few the game is more about what you do yourself, although the more you advance the more stuff you get to play with up to your own settlements. passenger transport pods on Core Exiles Hello everyone Ive searched some of the core exiles topics on here and havent found what Im looking for. Im also stil getting use to the forums on the core exiles site, My question is where can I buy a passenger transport pod? I mean istheir oneplace in the Feris system at all? Or one close by? Its probably right in front of me and Im just not seeing it. BTW my name in the game is firefly187 if anyone wants to look me up. Im only a level 5 started playing a while back, then got busy with school work so put it down for a while. Anyways any help would be greatly appreciated thanks. Re: passenger transport pods on Core Exiles Hi,there is a CEDR in one of the 2 drop lists (been a while since I have played CE) that has all the items with their information and where they are sold at.
