Anyone who has fullproof gotten PDS to work, could you please share with us your xp vm preconfigured? Yes, virtual box may be somewhat accessible on the pc, but for mac it's accessibility is bordering on nonexistent. And as far as I know, Computer Room Services are only selling Time Adventures, not Private Detective School. They used to, but it's not on their site, not anymore anyway. Moderators correct me if I'm wrong or if there's an alternate source to buy it, but as of today when I checked there's no way of buying it so it seems like working around the drm is what we'll have to do. As for the other games I'm glad they're hosted somewhere where hopefully it will be permanent. That Jokuri site has been up for years now and seems to show no sign of being taken down. Re: some code factory games needed Hi,Starforce 3 is not compatibñe with Win 7. That's why you must use a Win XP VM with VirtualBox. You must have the game on CD, either burnt with Alcohol 120% with Starforce selected as the CD type (maybe other programs work), or original (haven't tested with an original one). Re: some code factory games needed OK, I didn't make myself clear. You can create the VM in whichever application you want, as long as it offers the possibility of exporting it into OVF. VM Workstation does, I don't know about VM Player. Then you import it into Virtual Box. I don't remember if you have to add the virtual drive then, or it comes with it.When I tested it in this manner, the game worked as expected with previous tests, but strangely no internet connection was detected. Well, never mind I suppose, but you've been warned, some features may be missing, but the game will work.Another note: I don't have a clue on why this game works using this method, I expected to have wasted a DVD when I tried it . Re: some code factory games needed It is complicated. But for me at least it works. I insist: it works in VirtualBox, not in VMWare, and you don't need any starforce tools, just a CD. The game takes like two minutes to start though.Don't know if an emulator would work. I know this is not the best solution (virtual machines are somewhat complicated, if not impossible to create without sighted help) but at least it works. Burn it into a CD with Alcohol 120% as I described.Second, you will need Virtual Box. This program is capable of running virtual machines, that is, computers inside computers. You'll need to create a Windows XP virtual machine to play this game, and for this you'll need a CD image of its installation disk. I'm sure you'll find it. Note that the creation process of the machine is not accessible, and you need to install a screen reader in it, so you'lll need sighted help.Virtual Box has some accessibility problems. I think it works reasonably with NVDA and its OCR addon.So, with all this set (the machine created and with a screen reader), you'll need to link the virtual CD drive with the real one. After doing this, boot the virtual machine, let Starforce to be installed the first time and reboot, and after that , play!I know, quite a long process. I'm not posting links because I don't know if I can do so because of legality reasons, but if you want a demo in audio of how all this works, be sure to ask. Then, I used Virtual Box and used the burnt CD in the virtual machine, and it worked without having to mess with StarForce. After that, install antifiles blocker driver and click on start sfasfb.exe. After that, click on start.exe of the game, click on yes for restart and after restart, when I pressed again in start.exe, it appears again the restart request. What is wrong?
