have not yet had the mods installed - will probably be 1-2 weeks. Thanks for the info - in the reply I finally got from Audiocom they indicated that the board was the WiFi - I think mine is situated elsewhere. I mainly wanted the clock replacement, the other components were additions... you are probably right about the bybee but I will keep an open mind ;-) the problem with mods is that it is not possible to do direct comparisons as the original is no longer available (unless one has a spare un-modded unit which I don't have) regards Jose jra...@wbs.co.za's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=5282 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=98410 ___ audiophiles mailing list audiophiles@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/audiophiles

[SlimDevices: Audiophiles] Help requested for Transporter Superclock 4 modification
Hi all I would be grateful if anyone could help me with installing a Superclock 4 in my 2007 Transporter. I bought the clock form Audiocom International but sadly have had no reply to my repeated requests for assistance... The clock has either a 3.3V or 5V supply but there is no indication as to which I should use in the Transporter. If any of you have either installed a Superclock or have info on what the correct voltage is, I would appreciate your advice. I attach two pics that were initially sent to me by Audiocom regards Jose 1468114682 +---+ |Filename: 011mod.jpg | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=14682| +---+ jra...@wbs.co.za's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=5282 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=98410 ___ audiophiles mailing list audiophiles@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/audiophiles
Re: [SlimDevices: Audiophiles] Anyway for Transporter to support 24/192?
I have just checked this and I am able to play both 24/192 and 24/176 but the files are transcoded to 96 and 88 respectively. The latter are the frequencies shown as input by my Tact Audio TCS3. When I click on the particular track for info it seems that the 192 track is being converted to FLAC but at a much lower bit rate, about 786 which is what I would get with 16/44 files. My library is all in Apple lossless format.
