 assist with mass-orphaning?

 It might churn your stomach ;-) but you could use my WWW::AUR perl
 module set ...

 use WWW::AUR::Login;
 my $u = WWW::AUR::Login-new('arch-haskell', 'password');
 for my $p ($u-packages) {
    $u-disown($p);
 }

 You'd need the perl-www-aur package installed:
 https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=44180

Well, I got tired of waiting for others to do my bidding, so I decided
to try to get it done myself instead... and perl doesn't churn my
stomach, even though I do my best to avoid it for aesthetic reasons ;)

I installled that package of yours, and found that I need
perl-lwp-protocol-https (available in [extra]) in order to log in.
It's a bit slow, but it seems to work nicely. Thanks for the tip!

 An unnecessary joke, when this was obviously not the case here.

It was neither a joke, nor unnecessary, nor obvious. I already said
that I didn't know about the dependency issues when I wrote the request.

The last time the package was updated was one year ago and it was six
months ago that the package was flagged out-of-date and in the
meanwhile upstream has released three updates. So it is thoroughly
possible that it could have been forgotten in the meantime. But I
already explained that, too.

Sometimes one should read the whole e-mails and/or thread before posting
such unnecessary comments.

been blacklisted.
