RE: [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Currency conversion

2006-04-10 Thread James Flavell
Hi

To add to my earlier plea for help...

It seems that the imbalance is coming fomr transaction that had penny
difference amounts orignally...it seems the script is just applying the
conversion exchange rate to these amounts but because they are so small the
result is zero and then this causes imbalance (I think).

Example:
Penny diff Trans in current live is 0.02 SGD
0.02 / 60.36 = 0.00033 USD
Round off = 0.00
So the script basically 'loses' this 0.02 and then there is an imbalance...

Has anyone come across something like this?
Is there any documentation on this currency conversion script anywhere?

Thanks
James

[Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Re: Master Planning: Why CANCEL a PLANNED order?

2006-04-10 Thread Philip R. Freimann
Jens and Harry,

Thank-you both for your input. I am not new to master planning but
am VERY new to Axapta master planning.

If I am hearing you correctly then, Axapta really is suggesting I
cancel the PLANNED order. I'm not used to that. My previous
software would have done that before I would see it.

The only demand on this item is for safety stock and then there are
19 BOM line requirements. The current on-hand and on-order will more
than cover the requirements. It recommends reducing and delaying the
two purchase orders and many of the planned orders.

What is the process to cancel the PLANNED order then?

Let's say that you have a purchase order of 100 pcs, while you have

suggest
