Hi,

  I am wondering if there is any standard existing Financial report which can
give the list of all un settled ( or waiting to settled ) ledger
transactions?. The existing report 'Ledger Transactions' can be 1:n to
LedgerSettlement table to get the settled vouchers. but I am looking to see if
there is any report to get the info on all the unsettled transactions?.

  Any help / work around will be appreciated,

Hi BOB,

In stead of using Sales Order, use Subscription functionality from Service
Management module (AX 4.0).

Re: [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Import Records from Excel to Axapta

2006-12-13 Thread Srivastava Ashish
Hi Bhasker,

For importing data in Item Master, you need to populate data in InventTable,
InventTableModule & InventItemLocation Tables. Only importing data in
InventTable will not work.

So delete records imported in InventTable and try importing for these 3
tables.

Please let me know, what error you are getting for LedgerTable?

[Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Re: Web Grid

2006-12-13 Thread Steeve Gilbert
Hi,

As for adding grid page number, a simple modification in
WebFormHtml.layoutGrid() would do the trick, but you need to know the
basics of HTML.

As for modified event, that's another story. Either you refresh the
page for every modification (with added HTML code) or you dive into
Ajax and such.

But I am still in Ax30 so maybe it's easier in Ax40 with SharePoint.

Steeve...

[Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Re: Another user changed one or more fields in the record

2006-12-13 Thread Steeve Gilbert
Hi,

I don't really know what is the problem here but you should keep
salesLine.doInsert();
salesLine.calcCreditEstimate();
in that order. Atleast here, they are in that order and there's no
problem. Plus, in Ax 3.0 "SP0" it was
salesLine.calcCreditEstimate();
salesLine.doInsert();
and then in some Service Pack between 1 and 3 they changed it to
salesLine.doInsert();
salesLine.calcCreditEstimate();
So that must be the correct order.

Is your Sales module pretty plain or you've made some modification?
Maybe 2 users really modify the same line (will happen a lot i guess
if many users can work on the same sales order) or there's a batch
process that modify sales line of an order that the user is already
in.

Those a bit tricky to catch.
Good luck!

Steeve...

[Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Re: Creating new company accounts

2006-12-13 Thread novembercalendar
If you are going to continue adding more companies - I'd suggest
setting up a "Template" company, that includes all your companies
parameters, number sequences, etc... Do not specify a number
sequence for the journal number in the GL parameters - this will
prevent any accidental postings to this template company.

Then, under Adnimistration>Company accounts - highlight the template
company and click on the "Duplicate" button to the right...

[Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Query Unpack

2006-12-13 Thread Anil Ozay
Hi all,

I have a query on my form. When a user runs the query, ranges packed
automatically and I can get these values. But I have a problem about
unpacking ranges before user run this query.

I set interactive(false) and run the query, when the form start, but ranges
can't be unpacked automatically, so I can't see ranges before user run the
query.

How can I catch the packed values of query ranges, programatically?

Thanks,

Anil Ozay

Re: [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] How to use COM objects in Axapta 3?

2006-12-13 Thread Sumit Loya
Hi,

Here is what you have to do.

1. Create the dll file that you want to use and register it in the system

2. Write the following code

Com com = new Com("SamLib.Test");
;

print com.PrintHello();
pause;
Here SamLib is a class library which i had created and Test is a class
inside that library.
PrintHello() function returns "hello" and prints it on the screen.

Sumit

[Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Can not pick more than ordered

2006-12-13 Thread Agus Riyadi
Hi All,

Why sales order picking list can't exceed qty ordered ? while packing slip
can ?
I need to pick qty more than qty ordered (but at maximum qty ordered + over
delivery pct) but can not. In packing slip it can be done.

Why doesn't Axapta allow this?

Thanks,

Agus
