[Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Updating selected records
Hi everybody,
I want to update selected records on grid, and refresh the results. This is
the code :
ttsBegin;
for (MyTable= MyTable_ds.getFirst(true) ? MyTable_ds.getFirst(true) :
MyTable_ds.cursor();
MyTable; MyTable = MyTable_ds.getNext())
{
SELECT FORUPDATE MyTableUpdate
WHERE MyTableUpdate.RecId == MyTable.RecId;
MyTableUpdate.Qty = newQuantity;
MyTableUpdate.update();
*MyTable_ds.refresh();*
}
ttsCommit;
Update is working correct but ds.refresh() only refresh the last selected
record. How can update all of the selected records without lost the marking.
I use ds.executeQuery(), it works but I lost selected records and cursor
goes to first record of the grid.
This is very important for us. I will really appreciated, if anyone can
solve this problem.

try using findRecord method on datasource.

see that it returns boolean.
How can I use this on my situation?

you dont need to use this. It just tells you whether the record, which you were
trying to find was found or not.

[Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Printer Icon is disabled.
Hi Group, I have the setup Axapta 3.0 with SP4 and Backend is SQL Server 2005. After Built Sales Order Purchase Order Reports. I have tried to take Printout. But In Purchase Order Report, Thr Printer Icon is showing correctly. But all Sales Order reports(Quotation,Confirmation,Pick Pack Slip,Invoice),the Printer Icon is disabled. This is the Local Printer directly connected with the machine.I can see the Printer in Settings. I can Print all other files. What could be the reason. where can I check the printer settingd? [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Problem during upgradation from AX 3.0 to AX 4.0
Hi all, I m having problem in data upgrade of Axapta 3.0 to axapta 4.0. I have installed Axapta 3.0 with india localization on my machine and now I upgraded the data using proper Data Upgrade process. But now when I m trying 2 start the AOS it is giving me problem of Error code 100(0*64). What can b the possible cause of problem and what can i do 2 solve it? Also can u please tell me,is there any demo data for India Localization like the data for Standard? Regards, Ashish.

Hello everybody, I'm opening a Form from a Class, and I need lock all anothers forms that are opened. Then when I close the actually form, unlock all anothers forms. That I need do is the same that happen when I call the DialogBox (this function open a dialog and lock all the others form that are opened, and when this dialog is close, the others forms are unlocked). The method depends on how you interface the scale and if you are using citrix or terminal server on the front end. Hello. I've created a lookup form in 4.0 using Axeptapedia's code example (http://www.axaptapedia.com/SysTableLookup_class). The lookup works just fine, but is it possible to modify its properties, like column widths or form height? Regards, -- Marko Salonen
[Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Ax 4.0 remote question
I have Ax 4.0 AOS running on a remote system on a different network and its installed on an F drive. I tried to connect to it through VPN to the AOS with my client and I get an illegal directory structure error. I look into my client config and it shows up with only my local ax32.exe reference.
