[Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Cost Price

2007-06-07 Thread setiaji
Hi everyone,

Is there any table which keep record for 'cost price' for Item in
InventTable ?
For example, for every month, Item in InventTable who had transaction SO
or PO, always make changes in 'cost price'.
So I want to take 'cost price for that item
Is there any ? Or I should count again everytime i need 'cost price' ?

Thanks before for the answer

Standard AX doesn't however there's an add-on written by company called

both, Standard client and the Portal. The add on is called PSA

[Axapta-Knowledge-Village] joining 3 tables

2007-06-07 Thread axaeffect
Hi all,

how to join 3 tables in querybuilder?

for example I want to join InventDim Table with inventBatch and

In my logic should be like this
1. first Query is InventDim
2. join InventDim to InventBatch
3. join inventDim again to WMSLocation

is that correct?

thanks in advance,

Another option is part of the IEM IBI solution that can be bought
separately, from To-Increase called Workflow. I have deployed and
customized this at a few clients now and it works great. Integrates well
with all Standard AX, plus email, Alerts, etc. etc. Can have complex
approval chains for a given document, say OTC process? (AKA: Purchase

RE: [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Summary update !!!

2007-06-07 Thread André Santos
Sam,
I don't know exactly what's the legal dependencies for this situation in
your country, but sometimes, it won't work properly and might be adapted
like here in Brazil, like Daniel Zanni Said.

To make the summarization do the following:

1.Create the orders.
Notice that the orders must fit the sales/purchase invoice summary
parameters to be grouped in 1 invoice.

2. At the Sales or Purchase orders form, hold the Ctrl key and select the
orders you want to post.

3. Click Posting/invoice then Arrange.
If all those conditions were met, you will notice that at the first tab
grid, it will last one line per invoice generated.
Then, you can check it by Inquiries/Invoice.

Works the same way for other types of documents, e.g. Packing Slip.

I Hope it helps!

I setup summary update =invoice account.
I create one sales order for customer =4009, 100$
I create second sales order for customer =4011, 200$
You wrote “Then you can select 2 orders, and post to invoice/ the system
then will post 2 orders to 1 invoice.” where I can select two orders.
Because each order individual. Is there any option I can select 2 orders and
post in 1 invoice? (Sales order 100$+200$ and post one invoice in Invoice

Anisha,

This must be done via SQL Statement. The dataareaid can not be changed
from within Dynamics AX. Be careful though, because what you will have
to do is make sure you don't try to have duplicate data in the same
company.

For example if you have:

CustomerA, CustName, DA1

CustomerA, Cust Name, DA2

CustomerA, C U S T Name, DA3

And now you want all of these shared with a virtual company of vc1. Then
you need to decided out of these 3 records which one is the correct one
and share it only. Remove the others. So there is some data clean up as
part of this if duplicate data exists.

the operations with actual time for the labour cost and a dummy

2007-06-07 Thread Hemant Kumthekar
Hi,

In standard AX you can have only a work around for these type of Costing
Elements.
By creating secondary operations linked to primary operation you can build the
costing elements. Note that the Run Time used on the primary operation will be
the time that will be used on Secondary.

Other option is to create BOM Components of type Service and link to the BOM
of the Parent item and use Cost categories to display the break up in the
Costed BOM, and also assocaited to GL. These are only work arounds there is no
functionality in AX.

  Hi all,

how to join 3 tables in querybuilder?

for example I want to join InventDim Table with inventBatch and
  WMSLocation

In my logic should be like this
  1. first Query is InventDim
  2. join InventDim to InventBatch
  3. join inventDim again to WMSLocation

  is that correct?

  thanks in advance,

[Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Import csv with newline character in string field.

2007-06-07 Thread Agus Riyadi
Hi All,

I need to import csv file into a table using definition group of type
custom.
The table has string field that allow multiline (e.g. item description), so
there could be newline character in the field value.

The problem is when I try to put newline character in the csv file, it is
recognized as record delimiter, not as part of the field value as expected.
Axapta will treat the next string after newline as first field of new
record.
Any workaround please help.

Thanks

Regards,

Agus

Thx, I already know the relation, the problem is when I use
QueryBuildDataSource, after I create the first Query (InventDim),
add

again(WMSLocation), when I link it to the first query, seems can
not
