How can I change the Confirm deletion message for my custom form?
For Example, when you try to delete an Sales Order, it pop out a
Confirm deletion box said "You are about to delete a record in Sales
orders. Delete record?", how can I change it? Thank you.

Hi,
  If the customizatomized web forms are not visible in the web page, then check 
whether datsource is attached to the grid in th web form.
   
  If the web form is working fine, and the only problem is with the opening of 
web page. then try deploying the web page.
  right click on the page definition and then deploy the web page.
   
  If this too doesnt work then go to the admin module --> setup --> internet 
--> manage deployment. and then do the deployment.
   
  But before all these things have you gone through event viewer to see what is 
the error. Because as far as i know if the web form has some errors then the 
web page will not be shown. check on the second time opening of web page 
whether you logic throws any exceptions that needs to be handled.

Forgive me, madhubabu_r, if it's just a typo on your part, but you 
list InventJournalTable and InventTrans as the tables you uploaded. 
Shouldn't this be InventJournalTable and InventJournalTrans as Sumit 
Loya listed?

Hi ,

 

In fixed price projects , If I will make a schedule for total contract
amount on On-Account window...and then ll creat invoice it will do the
transaction like...

 

Customer Dr

Onaccount  Cr

 

but suppose if I am getting advance from customer without any invoic
..how would I do this transaction in AX and will link it with Project.

 

Total contract amount is 43000

from this amount 12900 is an advance payment from customer...

 

Bank  Dr   12900

CustomerCr-12900

  Yes, the intercompany transactions helps in posting the transactions in other 
company when the expense is met on behalf of it. 
   
  For this, you have to do set up in GL>setup>posting>intercompany accounting.
   
  You have to define the company, ledger accounts and the journal to be used 
for such transactions.
   
  This set up has to be done in both the companies.
   
  While preparing the journal you can choose the company and the account in the 
general tab of the journals.

I'm trying to create a new number sequence for the emplId in the 
empltable, so when i create a new employee the emplTable-emplId is 
generated for you.

If some one can tell me how to do this and send me a coded example it 
would really help?

To use Excel to take on stock is a nightmare.

 

Would suggest that you ask developers to develop an import script for you.

The tables I have uploaded are InventJournalTransa and InventTrans. I 
have managed all the number sequences in excel template itself. I 
could upload the data into the Movement Journal Lines. Movement 
Journal was also posted. I could see the onhand stock. But when I was 
trying to create a Sales order/Purchase Order /any inventory 
journals - just after entering the item and i click save I am getting 
an error message - "Illegal Reference" and I cannot proceed further.

Any answers for this??

The best way to load opening balances is thru Movement journal only.

I wud not guess the reason for this error as this error information is not
descriptive enough..

u can try and to debug and see from where this error is coming and on what
condition.
