Hi Hartwig, Go to the Microsoft site, download and install the Outlook Security Features Administrative Package. Hopefully you can work it out from there - I believe the package will explain what you have to do - you provide permissions to those users who will be synching with Axapta. It is a long time since I was last involved with this. But if necessary I can try to dig up more details about it. [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Non existing label still works okay until AOS crashed, why?
Hi everyone Hoping someone might be able to explain/understand something about labels. We imported master data such as customer and sales orders and the 'Language' field was set with a non valid label (e.g. 'Engli'). The thing is the print outs for sales documents such as invoice still worked fine We stopped and started the AOS many times (not knowing abou the Engli label) But then at some point the AOS service crashed and then after that the printouts had the problem of having the label ID rather than the text The customer is saying they dont trust the system due to this even though we have explained how to fix (just put a valid label value in the language field) Can anyone shed any light? I can only guess it might be something about label cahces or the like based on hearing all the things about label caches etc but I thought stop and start of AOS flushes such caches Is there some kind of fail safe that if language on the salestable is not found the system uses a default setting (my testing seems to show it falls back to the setting on the User options but I could be wrong)? The import of the data was done with the X2A tool that Microsoft has (anyone else used it and noticed such problem?) Thanks James
