First user succesfully saves the record and for the other user while trying to save it throws error 'Number already used'. Its a valid error accepted but for the next time if he closes and open the form and tries to create a new line, he gets the same error stating the number is already used. The number series is getting jammed. It works proper after the Cleanup is run for the number series for releasing the un used numbers. how to avoid it? any pointers will be of great help. Hi Faiga, You must active dimension which you need to track for items. Otherwise you have to fill all the dimensions while you are entering dimensions. And once they are selected and changed the data inside become a trash. So make your analysis carefully when selecting them. Editing dimension is a privallage of Axapta. You can change or split the dimensions of the inventory data that has posted, invoiced or packing slipped. Hope being helpful. YNT: [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Import to General Jouranl?
Hi, At first you should have created the new journal then you can import the lines from excel by the import tool of Axapta. You should first export the excel sheet from management-periodic- import/export-excel-excel wizard by selecting ledgerjournaltrans table. When you export this excel it gives you which places you must and should fill in. If they are yellow this column must be filled in. Don't forget to fill the journalnum. Then from SysImpGroup you can import your excel. SysImpGroup is crested automaticly when excel export is done. If you can't import from this way you should import it by creating your excel in csv format. Dimension changing can be done from the form of item table-functions-edit dimensions. Don't forget to recalculate. As far as I know... When you select line it calculetes tax in lines and make sum... When you select total it sums the lines and calculates the tax.
