[Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Stock value in Inventory Module does not tie to GL
Hi all, I'm using standard cost for inventory valuation. I found out that my stock value in Inventory Manangement module does not tie to the GL stock figure after i've revalued my standard cost and then closed and adjusted my inventory (Inventory Management > Periodic > Closing and Adjustment)even though i've set to update the ledger when doing closing. May I know what's going wrong? Is there any report i can use to justify the difference? I'm using Axapta 3.0 SP3. Thanks in advance. Best Regards, Jack Koh Yahoo! [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Actual Scrap on Finished Goods in Production Order
Hi all, May I know how Axapta handle Actual Finished Goods scrap in Production Order. Does the error qty which appears in the Production Order > Update > Reported as Finished is my actual scrap qty? If so, I found out that when i run the costing of the production order the FG scrap will not be posted into my scrap account even though my scrap method set up to be 'scrap account'. Thanks. Yahoo! [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Production Order Variances
Hi all, Can anynoe tell me how axapta handle production variances, e.g material usage variances (if the production picking list actual qty is more / less than the std qty)and labor efficiency variances (i.e. if the hours reported in route card / job card are more/less than the standard hours). >From my testing i found out that the system will post the variances in lump sum into my ledger when the production order is cost accounted (Production Order > Update button > Costing). [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Web Form & Windows-based Form
Hi all, Can anyone tell me if what is the difference of these 2? I roughly know that web form is used for EP which allows user to input data through web whereas Windows-based are those standard forms in axapta. Currently the lincense for web form and windows-based form need to be purchased separately. Hi all, Can anyone tell me how Standard Cost Profit & Standard loss A/C under Inventory tab in Inventory Posting Profile take effect? I've tried to run Inventory Closing and Adjustment and made a cost price adjustment for items with standard cost(Inventory Model Group > Standard Cost Price), Inventory Profit/Loss journal and counting journal but none of the transactions are posted to that accounts, instead, the transactions are posted into Loss / Profit account under Inventory tab in Inventory Posting Profile. [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] How to allocate the miscellaneous charges to the item cost after PO is posted?
Hi all, Can axapta allocate the miscellaneous charges (landed costs, packing slip duty, etc) on top of the item costs after PO is posted? [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Posting Journal?
Hi all, When i try to post the Inventory Movement Journal an error threw out saying that the journal is not attached to the posting journal. The only way to solve this problem is to go to the GL > Setup > Journals > Journal names and create the posting journal for the voucher series. Just curious what is the purpose of posting journal. [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] AOS Lincense Issue
Hi all, I've created 3 instances in the AOS server namely Actual, CRP and Testing. While i try to start the instance the CRP and Testing can be started and running but Actual is not. The EventViewer showed the message as follows: "Object Server Axapta: Concurrent number of AOS' for this application exceeds the licensed number." The lincense the user bought has up to 30 users. [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Product Costing and Posting in Production
Hi all, Is there anyone knows about Product Costing in Axapta? My client is using Absorption Costing method whereby Indirect Production Costs will be inventorized into Final Product. Can anyone tell me how can it be applied to Axapta? I'm quite confused with Axapta Production Posting. The demo data doesn't make any sense with regard to ledger posting e.g. when FG scrap is reported the system will post the scrap into Inventory Gain (Credit Balance).
