Re: [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Enterprise Portal License Policy

2007-01-23 Thread ASHWANI JAIN
Hi Srirangabhat,

Under web-portal also, there are so many functionalities, which are available
and each is linked with its own configured license.
If the license has not been purchased, then Client will not be able to get all
the features.
List of Different license available for web-portal are as under:
Enterprise Portal Framework
Employee Role
Sales Representative Role
Consultant Role
Customer Role
Vendor Role
Human Resources for EPCRM for EPProduct Builder for EPQuestionnaire for
EPPerformance Management for EPEnterprise Portal UsersWeb MorphX Development
SuitAs per your information, your client is having license of 1, 2, 12.
Actually all these features are given to the MS Partners so that they can
explore / guide to there client based on working hands-on on the different
features.

Now it is up-to the client, which feature your client actually wants, and based
on that you can suggest your client to purchase that license.

Regards,
Ashwani Jain

Hi All,

We have implemented EP for one of our Client, while accessing the

portal it is displaying the basic Menus like HOME,PURCHASE, EMPLOYEE

SERVICEs etc.but they want to access all the functionalities of

Axapta which comes with the MS partner's License.

Client is having license for Enterprise Portal Framework,Employee Role

Can we provide the required functionalities mapped with their Licenses

or they have to purchase some add on's licenses for the same if it is

so then which are the required licenses (roles)that they have to buy.

Kindly reply me back with the desired information.
